  1. Not quite. It was on the PTS when 1.4 was being tested, but the fix never made it to live.
  2. Tron: Legacy was disney too before yo uguys get all upset :| Wait yo ualready did
  3. Agreed. Speaking from personal experience, that is pretty much how I progressed lol.
  4. Depending on the tank, there's almost never a need to guard the healer. So we'll have to agree to disagree.
  5. In PVE, guard isn't used for its damage mitigating ability so much as it is for its threat mitigating ability. That's why it usually goes on DPS, at least when talking about top geared group make ups
  6. I'm beginning to wonder if the 'within 5 percent' selling point refers to their metrics from ops and such rather than just hitting the dummy and getting raw parses.
  7. "Damage = threat" is just the conversion factor. Just as he stated above. 1 point of damage = 1 point of threat 1000 points of damage = 1000 points of threat. I don't know the conversion for healing.
  8. That doesn't follow. What you're suggesting is that the tank has less threat on the boss because there are people at melee range. Edit: are you saying that the threat that dps generate is modified lower because they're at certain ranges? Again, if that is true, it isn't showing up on torparse either and is also not what you just said and what I understood to be true. That is, damage = threat point for point unless in tank stance. so... Unless its as straightforward as it seems and melee dps that are already topped on the threat table need even more threat on the mob to pull it. But that seems unwieldly and counterintuitive Final edit: i stand corrected. That does seem to be how it works. heh.
  9. If true, then torparse isn't showing it. My sentinel's threat generation (threat per second, against a dummy) is the same as the DPS. Its only off by like 0.25 dps over 10 mins. So i'm going to have to disagree with you
  10. That only refers to the taunt ability's threat boost, not your threat generation as you go about your dpsing/healing.
  11. Healer threat is spread to all enemies that are 'in combat' with you, whether or not they are targeting you or not. Tank and dps threat is only directed at the target(s) they are attacking. Sentinels are guarded because they can, in most cases, top the threat table and take aggro from the tank. Has nothing to do with taking less damage. tl;dr DPS are guarded to make the tank's job easier. Usually a sentinel, commando, or gunslinger
  12. Everything but the improved rocket boost boxes, companion sacrifice, warzone dummy and kiosk. I got all the rest though. As for character perks, i have class mission XP boost on 2 of my alts, the legacy of crafting boxes, all the mail and all the repair droid perks (for my alts that are level 50). priority transport black hole, too
  13. re: the headslot hiding the hood On some outfits, invisible hood looks really poor because the robe doesn't have much of a collar. that's my primary reason for not using that silly go-around; the second being that I don't want a mask/headpiece either.
  14. Wow I have never gotten anything nice in those boxes lol Though I've only sent missions out for them a handful of times.
  15. I want those outfits from the character creation screen available For republic side anyway. Haven't paid attention to the imperial side ones.
  16. Oh no. You must do a handful of HM FPs in order to get HK-51. What a tragedy.
  17. That exhaustion zone didn't used to be there btw. Wasn't there in the labour day weekend beta and not the canadian thanksgiving beta either iirc.
  18. Indeed, http://i.imgur.com/ihBwH.png but no rakata pieces there
  19. Just from that first video, the knight 'class' video, the hair option isn't there. the facial 'type' isn't there either. and some of those moves/abilities aren't there either (or changed) like that whole pull-out-the-saber-toss-it-in-air-and-grab-it-in-mid-air-and-ignite flourish. But yes hood down jedi battlelord robes
  20. Watchman here, I'm only topping out at ~1750 with exotech stim and all but the smuggler buff. Holds in and around 1700 usually. A far cry from the 1800+ people are purportedly getting. Kinda disheartening :/
  21. I think the problem here is for people who have done it and then try to pick it up after weeklies reset. One of my characters who hasn't done the weekly since before 1.4 was just now able to see it and pick it up up on the mission terminal. My main who did it in the past week is unable to see it on the mission terminal.
