Upon reconsidering I do kind of understand their logic. People that pre-order or purchased a while ago have had adequate time for value..whereas those that just bought the game have not had the same amount of time to fully experience the content..though most probably have...so they are compensating for value lost. Still..i'll take the coins too..lol.

lol...as if anyone could have missed the initial advertising for the game on just about every tv station a few months before , the news coverage of the jedi/sith flash mob in times square....as well as a small picture on just about every webpage about it becoming/being F2P..especially on gaming , nerdly or pop culture website..not to mention all the player/fanboy/hater/non-player discussions that come about on forums ..whether the OP was about SWTOR or not. lol.

Or they could just give people who supported the game to begin with the cartel coins too and not just give them to waffling part timers or perhaps even smack-talking arseholes..that would work.

I was disappointed at not having a level 50 despite playing since launch. Using the legacy levels is a better idea ...proves you've been playing...just maybe not the same characters. I think all will not be satisfied though. The only way to be completely fair and respect support is to go by time subscribed. I guess though there will always be something to make someone unhappy.

Loyalty is staying with a company even through good and bad. Having faith that they will prevail. Yes..that means paying every month. Watching populations drop....gettting your favorite class nerfed as well as revelling in great additions and fixes like those in Legacy 1.2. I dont like the "rules" of their freetime promotion....but I will stick with the game because I do have faith it will get even better and I am enjoying my time now. Doesn't mean I'm going to stay mum when something displeases me. In an mmo ...money IS loyalty. Especially one with a monthly sub.

I don't see how anyone who has a problem with the free game time qualifiers would be considered a whiner. The promotion should have been ..imo...given to anyone who has been active since launch..continously. No matter what level character they have. This would serve to show appreciation for supporting SWTOR. As it stands now, someone who has subbed for the last four months without a lvl 50 gets zip while another who subbed 2 weeks ago power levels to 50 and gets a free month to show for it.

I am pretty disappointed that only Level 50 get 30days free gametime. I pre-ordered early the CE. I have been subscribed continously since launch (also playing during early access) . I do like to jump back and forth and my highest level is my first character which is 43rd level. Sure ..I've had plenty of time to reach 50 but I like taking my time. I've still supported the game just as much as a person with a level 50 or 8 level 50's for that matter. That aside....love the Legacy update so far. Finally got the UI where I want it..lol. Great game despite the slight sour taste in my mouth about the free game time qualifications.
