  1. Oh yeah I remember that sequence where you fly between two large Asteroids. Mako replied to me with "Cant we just go around it?" But my favorite companion when it comes to commens in combat and such is Gault: Finishing a battle: "Thank you, thank you, I will be signing autographs after the smoke clears" Starting battle: "I think I knocked them crosseyed" Starting battle: "You fight them, ill cheer, deal?" And my personal favorite is sometimes when you finish a quest: "I am clearly not a bad enough influence on you"
  2. "Master I cleaned the sublight engines fuel injector pipes in your absence, you should experience a point oh oh oh oh oh one increase in effeciency" Dont know why but that just cracked me up when I heard it.
  3. Mako: Standard good guy (girl) tech specialist made slightly more interesting by the fact she is still a Bounty hunter at heart who works for money, not for a specefic cause (unless it is personal). Pretty interesting side quests. Gault: Freaking awesome. I love his dialogue, his schemes and his entire character. While not as goody as mako he is still genuinely likeable and you cant help but see the truth in what he says...taht is when he is not fooling someone out of their money. Torian: Likeable character who enables one of the most awesome pieces of dialugoe when you meet him as female Bounty Hunter. Still he is Mandalorian and a good example of what a more lightsided Mandalorian is like without losing what makes him a Mandalorian. Blizz: Fast talking, technology loving Jawa. What is not to love? Skadge: Meh he just comes of as a mindless brute, but maybe there is more too himas i unlock his dialogue. Most certainly lowest on my list until then.
  4. Neither Hydraelic Overides or the Boots stack with Sprint so it is not doing anything out of combat. However if you want proof taht it works go into combat with melee mob and start running around. You will soon see that you are outrunning the enemy which can help kill any melee opponent without trouble as running around spamming abilities such as Flame Burst or similar can insure you are dealing damage to the enemy while taking very little in return. Helped me on many hard encounters in the game.
  5. Exactly, the idea that the Midichlorians themsleves create the force seems to be the most common misconception in regards to them.
  6. Thank you, I had been trying to argue it was not a leap for Revan to commit genocide, but I had forgotten about Malachor V, thanks for reminding me. Though i would not say Revan was preparing to fight the Empire using the darkside. As he himself says he was both Jedi and Sith and by the end he was something entirely unqiue drawing upon both sides of the force. This is a credit i have no problem giving him even if I believe many overestimate his abilities.
  7. Could it be that you need a Proton Torpedo? I cant be sure on this as I havent tested, but from what I guess the Proton Torpedo Launcher you can pick up for ship commendations pack quite a bit more punch than normal missiles as you only have four shots for it. That might be the solution.
  8. The Republic flashpoint are about saving him and happen time wise before the Empire flashpoints...dont know if there is any appereances of him after that (and I dont want to know if there is )
  9. And? Coming from a pure Jedi I would have considered such a plan insane and completely out of character. But Revan is not a pure Jedi. He is hero no doubt about that, a hero who sacrificed everything and gained very little or nothing at all. He gave the galaxy time never counting on his own return. But now he is back and he is doing what he judges he must too stop the Sith Empire once and for all. He sees a bigger picture, a picture of of what the Emperor will do if left alone and is working against it with all his might.
  10. Quite a likely scenario and Kudos on well written story.
  11. Most people here still seem to put a spoiler tag on the story sensitive stuff even if it is the spoiler forum.
  12. Raving genocidial lunatic? Did we play the same Flashpoint? Too me he came of as a man who had been through hell and that it had left its scars, but he still had power and knowledge and he was gonna use that too fight the Emperor. He might have been slightly delusional saying he was the only one who could beat the Emperor, but he was by no means a raving lunatic.
  13. Your an Empire player, HK-47 serves Revan a direct opponent of the Empire. How would you expect to meet him in Flashpoint or...anywhere without killing him or at least trying?
  14. Put a spoiler tag on that would you, Idali was at least unspecefic about what class it was.
  15. Because flying your entire fleet around the galaxy would most likely draw then attention of the enemy and they would try to take it out?
  16. First of he is pwoerful yes, but he is not the most powerful, not even by longshot. Top tier yes, most powerful no. Secondly have you been leveling through PvP and Flashpoints solely? Because if you play the story you would know that we are far from nobodies. We are heroes, we change the galaxy. I mean as a Bounty Hunter, no as the greatest Bounty Hunter in the galaxy my final quest of my class story was to Does that sound like a nobody to you?
  17. First of it is not even certain he is dead which alot of people seem to forget. He vanishes in a flash of lightning and Bioware has specifically stated they changed his end from the Beta in order to accomedate a possible reappearence. Secondly, with every Flashpoint having a level 50 Hardmode chances are good everyone will see his end sooner or later. Also I personanly dont think the kind of ending you describe would be fitting of Revan. He left everything behind when he went to fight the Emperor, he was (almost) alone in that and how it has been most of the time. He has had allies, but they have changed as his goals did and in the end it was just him.
  18. Sorry, but i cant get enough of the Immolate animation. When they say you engulf the enemy in a ball of fire, they *********** mean it. Also popping that Immunity to knockbacks/slows and extra movement speed along with Shield and Kolto Injection is just pure epic for the last part to the score line in Huttball, not even mentioning every other part of Pvp when I meet a melee enemy.
  19. Oh right in the Bounty hunter storyline if you play female, when you encounter Torian on Taris and he holds a gun to the back of your head you can choose the most awesome line ever. It is something like (Flirt) "I have missed you" (Disarm him) The result is him lowering his guard and you smakcing him to the floor followed by a perfectly delivered "Men" from your character and paired with a "I deserved that" from Torian. Best start to any relationship
  20. Oh yeah that delivery was just pure win. Also I love the way he teaches you Mando´a as you progress the relationship and In general he is just an awesome companion,
  21. I liked Torian as Bounty Hunter, but most on account of my own character as it seemed most of the flirts and initiatives at first came from my character. Torian slowly started coming around too with initiatives of his own, but even then it seemed my character was always one step ahead in what she wanted topped up with a great delivery at the end when Torian asks you to marry him. One of the reponses there is something along the lines of "About time you asked" as your character draws him into a kiss.
  22. Facing the Jedi Master on board the Aurora as Bounty Hunter. Jedi Master (Hand wave) "You will drop your weapons and surrender" My Bounty Hunter reply (Hand Wave) "You are gonna realize what a complete idiot you look like" Might not be entirely accurate, but that line and the entire delivery is simply incredible. Then there is also a sequence on board an Imperial warship where a Seargent wants to confisacte me and my companions weapons (who are all standing behind me) while backed up by 7 or so troopers. Bounty Hunter: "Anyone who is not running by the time the Sergeant hits the floor is dead" Four imperial troopers immediately turn around and bail, simply priceless. Beyond that many of the things Gault say are great humor. As Sith warrior though i havent gotten far I loved the conversation as you returned to Darth Baras following your attack upon that renegade Sith Lords compound on Dromund Kass. The way he yells in anger causing the entire room to shake is great, but even better when followed up with the: Sith Warrior: "Is something wrong, Master?" Darth Baras still angry "Who would ask such a stupid question!" Pure win.
  23. Whats left? The Emperor for starters as that has barely been touched upon other than that the Emperor is missing. But beyond that there is plenty of opputunities. Remember by the end of your class story the war is only just starting again. The attack on Corelia near max is kinda the last spark that starts it all, up till then it has just been skirmishes and single standing events which though off course important are not full blown battles in most cases. I have actually noticed that most of the important people I fough in my class story were veterans of the last war, not rising hotshots or something like that. The people I killed were formidable yes, but they were of the old generation, our characters are new generation and new heroes and villians will rise for a new war. Think about it a little like the Prequels to the Originals actually. Obi-Wan and Yoda were heroes of the Clone Wars, but by the time the Rebelion reaches its full strength their purpose is no longer too fight, but guide the next generation (Luke) on his steps towards becoming a hero. In many ways one has allready done so as (Heavy Bounty Hunter spoilers her, read at own risk)
  24. I liked Taris as Imperial mostly due to that Sith Apprentice who is competing with you throughout the quests. Just great to rup it in her face that you were better than her.
  25. Then I misunderstood and appoligize again, sorry. But I will repeat that I am having no trouble managing it.
