    DR caps

    I know these aren't really known, but what's the best guess on DR caps for Power, Crit/Surge, and Expertise post 1.2?

  3. People use the "7k+ HM raid crits" as evidence we didn't get nerfed. There's a whole other, albeit broken, half to this game where people are really feeling the nerf. Go pvp and tell me we didn't get a nerf.
  4. I use to pretty easily be top 3 in damage in WZ's. I use to always be able to 1v1 someone, if I didn't beat them, get them to 10%ish health. Now I'm lucky to get them to 50% A 1v1 duel, usually goes like this... Tracer missi...interrupt. Tracer missi....stunned. Stun, tracer missile(10% nerf). Power surge, tracer missile(10% nerf). Tracer missi...interrupt. Tracer missi....knocked back. With 30% health left, maybe another tracer missile, heat seeker or rail shot, but by that time the fight is pretty much over. The problem is the damage buff to all classes really affects our class the most because with our activation timers we're susceptible to, not only being interrupted, but now being dps'd even harder while we're activating. That's a hidden nerf in this patch people don't realize.
  5. Is this true, they have no use anymore? I was saving tokens to buy a new set of gear, but now they're worth nothing. Not only that, if I want to switch gear sets, I need to buy BM pieces first...then trade them in along with more comms to buy the gear. I understand if they want to take BM comms out of the game, but still allow us to turn in existing ones in.
  6. I'm aware of how to play the class, but that doesn't help when you're caught in the open or when you're circle a pillar. They follow behind doing their instant cast abilities, while I'm trying to run and when I do pause to do a TM I'm interrupted. Honestly, there's nothing OP about our class that warrants us needing to activate and channel two of our main 4 attacks.
  7. With certain classes getting buffed and everyone getting a pvp dmg increase there's a forgotten "nerf" here for arsenal mercs. Our whole rotation is based off of a 5 stack(3 TM). While we're sitting here activating our 1.5 second tracer missile, a marauder is pounding away on us 10-15% harder than they were prior to 1.2. If they interrupt us, we're there even longer trying to get our 3 TM's off. (Yes, I know there are ways to get your 3 TM's off quicker with abilities, stuns, etc, but in PvP a 2min CD on those abilities is a good portion of the match. The activation and channel's we have on our abilities is our class weakness and by giving other classes a dmg buff advantage while we're still activating is totally unbalanced.

  9. To get the benefit of other alts' buffs, do they need to be 50 or just pass Chapter 2?

  11. Is the new War Hero armor based/bought off of valor or rated WZ ranking? Is there a reason I should be War Hero by the time 1.2 hits? Thanks in advance for the help!
  12. Let's get a list of everything that's wrong with PvP in this game.... Alderaan WZ - BW brags about their biometrics system and monitoring every credit that is traded...well use that system and look at Alderaan. 90% of the time the first team that caps 2 terminals wins the match. That little 3sec bike timer didn't solve anything. Huttball WZ - Due to server unbalance the Empire is sick of this WZ cause it's what we play 70% of the time. Open world pvp - non-existent, almost a joke to even mention. No incentive to open world pvp anywhere, especially off of Ilum No rated WZ - how a game can launch without this is beyond understandable. You can have the best 4man premade, but when you get grouped with 4 people that don't know their class or running around in green/blue gear...it's makes playing the already unbearable WZ's, unbearable. So now that we've covered what a joke pvp is, let's cover HM FP. Done them to death, no reason to them. Operations, cleared NM on both, full Rakata set. Where's the incentive, let a lone the effort of BW to keep this game a live?
  13. I run perfectly, no lag 20+fps in full battles in Ilum, but when that text for killing someone or taking a control point my game locks up for a second or two. Occassionally I'll just crash when this happens. Can we get an option to turn that text off?
  14. People were spreading false facts on a message board? GET OUT! Fact, full Rakata gear and you get 794 extra health from our "great" buff. Like I said, that's enough to survive a default hit from a healing spec'd Operative.
  15. In Rakata, with Columi belt, I'm at 18698 unbuffed. When I buff I'm at 19492. That's 794 health. I have rakata Helmet, Chest, Gloves, Pants, Boots, Bracers, ear piece and implants. Now, some of you may be PT's in tank Rakata gear which gives you more HP.
  16. That WZ has turned into a 60 second round. As soon as one team caps two terminals, usually the sides, everyone starts quitting because it's nearly impossible to recap terminals with the instant speeders back to those terminals. All you need it one tank or one of the many classes that have dots, to hold a terminal long enough for the team to get back there in 10 seconds or less. Take away those instant speeders and make it so you can only use the main middle speeder.
  17. In full Rakata/BM gear I get a whopping 800 health. That's perfect so I can survive one more, non-crit, default shot from a healing spec Smuggler. Don't know what I would do without it!
  18. I followed my Ilum quest line and it's sending me to "Battle for Ilum" flashpoint, regular mode. Will do the Flashpoint in HM count towards the mission credit? I'm gonna be hard pressed to find a group that wants to do it in normal mode.
  19. Has anyone done math and determined where diminishing returns are set? I know surge changes are coming, but currently where is a set?
  20. Well, I do have one more question. Take this Columi Chestpiece I have. It has 114 Aim total on it. The mod has 57 aim and the enhancement has 0 aim. So am I to assume the armoring piece(which I can't change) has 57 aim on it? So unless I find a purple armoring piece with 57 aim to slap in an orange armor piece I should stick with the purple?
  21. Pretty much answered my questions in full man, I appreciate it. So basically I slap the daily comms armoring pieces into armor and that'll be the highest stat stuff I can get without getting raid pieces?
  22. Anyone tried swapping out the mods in the pvp armor for crit/surge mods? Is it worth it? Is this a preferable method to buying an orange/purple piece of armor and doing that? I'm just not happy with the accuracy/power mods in our pvp sets.
