You know what came first to me, wth this game is going!? I've played 2 hours of Guild Wars 2 and got hooked and then there is this ***** of **** in the "star wars" universe. I'm one die hard Star Wars fan but it seems it wasnt enough

honestly I, most of the time, keep quite about the news and the patch note but this time is different. I've just seen the new set of armor coming out in the 1.2 patch. For those of you who didnt seen the link before there it is:http://dulfy.net/2012/03/17/1-2-new-armor-models/ I was thinking about the pro/con of those new gears but there are no pros, it simply do not reflect the Star Wars ideology at all. Those are great armor don't misunderstand me, but they don't feel like its Star Wars for one minute. Yeah the game takes place way before the original movies and I'm ok with some change in clothing over the time but there are some many books that have been written over the years on this era. I'd say one thing to Bioware team of designer, you should get your inspiration on the SW comics books which by me represent the true identity of the saga. You can go over the KOTOR series for example cause this MMO we're playing should be linked to those comics, I presume. The main source of inspiration should be taken there! Thanx

Well I think that's because of what you say that Obi Wan has turned out to be one heck of a jedi. Qui-Gon obviously is a rebel but in times he's proven his worth as Obi-Wan mention to in the Phantom Menace; he would already be on the council if he cared more about following the code. I see an analogy between Obi/Qui-Gon as a good and bad cop, both are on the side of the law but their way differs sometimes greatly.

I'm a fan of the movies and the games obviously but I never took the time to investigates the book with Luke new order and such. Does he modifies the jedi code to his way of life? There is for sure a part of the answer in those books

I personally think that one of the main problem is the rested xp rate. There seems to be no cap at all for rested xp. I'm more of a casual player, I play about 10 hours a week and the rest of the time I rest in cantina. Most of the time, so far, as I play my approximately 10 hours a week, I can't even get rid of my rested xp while I'm doing space missions, main story and some side quests. In my case this is definitely the rested xp that pushed me in the situation of over leveling.

In the Holonet section of this site there was once upon a time a magnificent animated bd which served as a timeline in order to explain the story of the Old Republic and should have ended with the beginning of the empire. It was updated for the last time about 4 months before the actual launch date and back then I though the timeline would be ended before the game actually began.
