Yeah I was kind of thinking that. Worst case scenario: They launched the game and waited to see what subs were like after launch to see where to put the developers. They made a decision to go F2P a while back and have committed development staff to making that move. The downside is that they have limited developers to fix bugs and put out new content which has definitely drove a lot of people away from the game. So in the end hopefully F2P will free up the log jam and start getting things moving. "Cadence!" But it does seem that if they couldn't pump out content for release or shortly there after what chance do we have that all of a sudden they will get it together after F2P. Or maybe I'm just holding them up to the Rift standard too much which has one of the best development staffs around for an MMO.

If this is the case I understand and cannot wait until this shift is over and F2P has launched. I do think it probably takes quite a bit of work to move to F2P so if when it is done a chunk of developers are now free then that will be great.

First off. I love the game, enjoy playing it on a regular basis and I am excited for F2P (even though I will continue to sub). But reading the F2P QA post I didn't like one of the answers they gave. One of the nice things about this approach is that it should also speed up the cadence that bug fixes get out to you as well." Why would a shift to F2P speed up bug fix deployment? Negative logic so does that mean that you have bugs that need fixing that you cannot get out in a timely manner currently? If so why not? Or is there something I am missing? I would think it would top priority regardless of the payment option to get bug fixes out.

I can understand why people feel cheated. I personally don't. I knew it was going to be a sub based game at launch. Even though it is going F2P I will still continue to sub because I would rather play unrestricted. It makes no difference to me.

This game isn't a bad game. Have you played any other MMO's? Tabula Rasa, Vanguard, WAR, AoC etc? There are and have been many MMO's launched that were / are today in worse shape than SWTOR is.

Are you talking about HK-51? I'm pumped for them to roll this out. I seriously want a bad *** assassination droid for a companion. I'm a big Star Wars fan so anything they add gets me excited. Little bugs here and there don't concern me as much.

I'm in a similar boat. I have one lvl 50, lvl 34, lvl 27, lvl13, lvl 11 one the same server and I am sitting at Legacy lvl 11.

I just started looking at the legacy perks last night. I picked up the first two PVP EXP perks. I definitely think it was a great choice so far and I will continue on unlocking them when I can.
