When are you lemmings going to wake up?

It's been a few weeks since I've logged in now, been killing time until you fix your game. So how's that going? Can I customize my UI yet? Can I use the graphics setting you promoted your game in? Sorry, I shouldn't be asking for such selfish things... a legacy tip tease maybe? No... not even that huh? Alright...

I'm on the Ebon Hawk and I'd say we have a great population right now, probably more balance than many of the servers too. When I see things like this person's post though, it's pretty bad. Some of these servers have very few people playing and he doesn't even have the chance to be social. Sounds like these low pop ones need to be merged, unfortunately I don't think BW will do it because it's a sign of 'weakness'.

I'd be ever grateful if someone shared exactly this... unfortunately I doubt it exists.

I'm still having trouble understanding why they can't comment on this. I have been 50 for a couple of weeks, have some other alts that I've created to kill time. But waiting till March to make the character I really want to play next sucks. We really don't need any details - just let us know if existing characters will have the chance to benefit from all of the content being released, or if there will be content unique only to newly created characters.

Argue all you want - This class is not up to par with multiple others in the game. I'm in mostly champ gear, tried multiple specs, made sure I was prioritizing the correct skills/abilities. There are plenty of times I can do nice damage, sure, but for as easily as we die we should be able to put out damage like a merc can. I don't expect to be able to survive as long as one, but that means my hits should be even more lethal. Either make us stronger or balance the other classes out. I'm about to shelve this character and focus my time elsewhere until they balance **** out.

This should be for characters created during the 'bonus' timeframe. Otherwise you may just be giving some 50s a x2 valor weekend. Other than that, I believe this is the way to go. There have been multiple discussions opened today, including one of my own, regarding the legacy system details. Many people are hesitating to make or continue leveling their alts because we feel we're going to shoot ourselves in the foot, and miss out on the March Legacy content. My actual suggestion is to find some way to vaguely inform us if this is the case. If you're going to implement features that CANNOT be applied to an existing alt, then say so. Or if there's going to be a one-time respec applied to each legacy character, then let us know. It will mean I get to go make my merc and work on him instead of holding off until March. Not asking for an impossible game change, just would like a Yes or No that helps us decide what characters we want to focus on for the next month and a half.

Using all of your abilities to the absolute fullest is of course going to reap positive results. The complaints regarding sins are not just about that though. Solo leveling can be quite difficult and in PvP there are classes that can do far more damage by applying the same amount of effort. Take a commando for instance... they can live much longer and put out just as much DPS with the same amount of effort. For as fast as I die, I should be able to do way more damage, especially with all the champ gear +expertise, it's ridiculous. 2/31/8

Legacy name is available for all characters right away, even of different faction.

When you go the legacy window, hover over the big '?' and one of the items mentions customization. I'm at work so don't remember exactly what it says. As for wasting time with not gaining legacy. I gain legacy on my 50 every day, as well as my other character. Things that require big legacy levels are going to be in-game advantages, appearance customizations shouldn't require as much. Maybe Legacy 15?

Well I already have a level 37 that I play only in a 3-group with some friends when we're all on. So this would be another solo alt, which is why I guess it could wait but I really would rather not. Just want to know if I'm going to miss out heh.

So I've had my 50 for a couple of weeks now and really want to make my alt. I'm trying to hold off on doing so because they keep hinting at character creation options after March, for legacy alts. I won't hold my breath for a BW response, but does anyone have any thoughts on how this will play out? Re-customize tokens for people who've already created? Or do you think we'll be stuck with the options we selected if we made them before 1.2? I think this would be an issue that BioWare could comment on that would not give away the farm in terms of a spoiler. I doubt I'm the only person hesitant to make that alt either...

This is pretty fascinating actually... I've never seen an official BW post like this that is just straight ' F YOU ' in replies no more happy 'First!' posts here lol. I don't think this valor rollback issue is going to go away. People are furious!

Nice overly used response that is completely irrelevant to releasing MMOs. Does your baby get 6 years of developers to code its actions before its plopped out? Go do something useful. No MMO should be released without a UI that allows draggable windows or a completely missing graphics setting that was used to lure us into playing. Have anything else useful to say?

No one's going to stick around that long when they do things like release a major patch that doesn't include a semi-customizable UI or the ****** graphics option available to users that they advertised the game in. I'm sick of all the brown nosing too, "Do you know how bad WoW was when it first came out!?" This is 2012, shut up, my expectations are higher and yours should be too.

You need to wake up - This is a business. You specifically have people onboard for handling these types of decisions. A 16 yr old could tell you that it's a bad idea to post something about a Founder title to an angry group. No one gives a damn, there are angry people out there who want real answers and they want everyone on deck doing their part, not posting this trash.

For the record... it would not be hard to roll back valor based on specific criteria. Get someone who's a decent DB Admin and they can use multiple filters to hunt these people down. They're keeping track of all these cute little 'stats' they were talking about, which means they have data fields for all of that crap. Whether it's by area, or looking up the value for valor gain within a certain time period, or gaining more than x amount of levels in a day, there are ways.

Exactly... the posts started early today asking for this to happen, KNOWING it would avoid much of the 'concerns' that are stopping them now.

FYI this screenshot is NOTHING - I saw multiple others online today where the bonus was +110, not 40... and the guys screen was full! That's 2600 valor, give or take, in what his screen showed alone, give it a few hours at that rate and he's sitting high on the hog right now.
