Or an issue with newer sets in general

My last used character too has the reforged mandalorian hunter set active. Perhaps there is a issue with it?

Maybe since it crashes on 17 characters then 16 is the limit? It's just a theory btw.

It seems like since the 7.4.1 server/character browser has a limit on how many characters it can handle.

btw when i was testing my workaround it worked 2 times out of 4 because apparently internet must be connected to/ plugged in at a very specific moment otherwise SWTOR will just stop responding

Yeah I edited the client_settings.ini many times but it didn't change anything, I think that there is some issue with server/character browsers because it clearly is not the computers fault.

Okay I was able to get past the Heta loading screen on my crappy laptop. Here's what I did: after logging in to the launcher (steam version btw) I clicked play and quickly unplugged my ethernet cable and was able to quickly get through the Heta loading screen, then I entered sleep mode with my laptop for a few seconds while plugging in my cable and after coming out of the sleep mode the character count on the server browser was displaying -1 on all servers. Then I was able to login to Star Forge where I have 1 character but not to Darth Malgus where I have 17 characters. My gpu: Intel HD 630 128mb (integrated)

So using these settings I managed to get past the Heta Kol loading screen but the servers are all shown as offline and there is no music only the background ships flying by engine noise
