  1. Weird you can try and reinstall the game and look over your software run Spybot search & destroy maybe see if it's something in your system that slows down the game.
  2. There can be alot of reason for that: Have you kept your software updated drivers etc? What OS are you running? If you are using a mechanical harddrive when was the last time you defraged it?
  3. My Rig Coolermaster Taurus Tower MSI Z77A-GD55, Socket-1155 Intel® Core i5-2500K 3.3GHZ overclocked to 4.2GHZ 16GB Corsair Black Edition 1600mhz MSI GeForce GTX 570 1280MB ADATA SSD 500 series 6GB/s 120GB F160 Corsair SSD 160GB That i havn't pluged in atm my old SSD old crap. x1 Samsung 1TB mechanical hardrive Start of with the MB, it's decent and sadly i had to get this one when i built it becuse of my budget i had to sacrafice something to squeeze in as much as possible and keep building on it later on. CPU is overclocked and it was easy to do and it's stable as hell, now i saw some sneaky comments that overclocked cpu's struggled with TOR mine doesn't. The original fan i trashed straight away and bought a Corsair H80 cooling system and attached it now i have a stable temperature of 52-56 celcius wile playing with fans on medium. Memory - Not much to add here it's memory does it's job and Corsair is some good stuffs for a reasonble amount of cash if you want better there are Kignstone etc to choose from they cost a bit more though. The graphiccard: Long story short i was using SLI with the version under that card for about a year but i struggled with two things: The lack of support from games using SLI + the amount of space they used in the tower - My solution was to sell both and got a singlecard the one i am using now. It does a very good job with the framerate overall in all games it doesn't run BF3 on Ultra settings when it gets really really intense without causing fps drops but overall it's a very good card cheap now as well after they realeased the 6+ version from Nvidia it goes for around 280-300 euros. SSD was cheap 900 Euros it's fast and i only have System on it TOR and 2 other games installed on it. The tower itself has no additional modifications or stuffs added on it except x2 140mm fans using Fractal Silent Series at the moment. **************************************************************************************************************************** What i will do at some point is buy a slighly larger Tower for 2 reasons, mine is crowded it doesn't fit that much stuffs in it and it's harsh to clean out and i am gonna upgrade my Motherboard to a better one not gonna use MSI this time going for ASUS. The CPU is gonna get changed into an intel® Core i7-970 it is very expensive though but it's 6 cores and other funny things in it. Memory stays the same never had any problems with them and if they break at some point i just get new ones from the same brand. GFX - Something from the 600 series for around 500 euro when they drop in price and with thoose cards you definetly don't need SLI haha. It's a nice and expensive wishlist but seing as i don't have any problems atm i wont have to upgrade untill....well when i start getting fps drops or that project Titan have insane Specs!
  4. The new ASUS gaming laptops have has the fans blowing on the back insteed of the side as well which is good less heat on your left hand and yes the cooling pad helps overall but 98 degrees is alot man
  5. Only 30 bucks really?
  6. Haha that is pretty cool actully looks like Microsoft learned a hard lesson from Vista and concidering how nice Win7 was i am kinda looking forward to upgrade to Win8 at some point depends what the price lands on at release.
  7. So the client is availble for testing since i'm waiting for my new motherboard i can't get it running on my desktop PC yet and i don't wanna install it on my Laptop but have anyone tried it yet and can you run SWTOR with it? What's the communitys thought about it and how stable is it in it's current shape? If you don't have a clue what i am talking about go to Microsoft's website and download the ISO file from there, burn it on a disc and you are good to go. For the safety of your current software make a backup before you install it, note you can uninstall it without having to erase your old windows version. Discuss!
  8. Becuse EA is pushing the buttons besides it's something they can add in the future as they expand the engine with new stuffs. In a near future maybe
  9. Haha i admit i havn't used the group finder that much way less then i expected becuse i did look forward to it just a couple of things that scares me. New players that refuses to adapt or even "veteran" players that think they are in godmode. Players that refuses to follow tactics Oh and undergeared people that thinks they are gonna get carried trough and get all the candy. The few times i used it for i have been lucky getting people around my own gear level but i can imagine for people that uses it multiplie times/day gets to play with the gimps. I bailed once when i wanted to do Lost Island and i ended up in a group that none had above 14k HP and everyone was melee except me that's just a deathwish.
  10. 42 then you get Shoot First that's when it gets fun.
  11. Let's face it combat is very boring as a Scoundrel limited attacks huge penetly that you have to be behind to launch your 2 shotgun attacks and one of them can only be used in stealth... Healing on the other hand is fun needs some love like alot of things in the game but it's well worth it in the end if you like healing that is.
  12. Hah depends on droprate etc but if you do HM once a week you maybe have 6-8 clears to get a full set if you are lucky with the drops and rolls.
  13. The whole point of expertise is to stay alive longer if you remoev it from the PvP gear then it's left being a worse PvE optional gear that takes a few days to gain a full set wile rakata and above takes way longer time i don't see the point?
  14. Would kinda expect that becuse it's alot of work and it will come with a expansion...
  15. Singleplayers games are ----------------------------> waya thank you. If you don't have enogh time gather the gear for yourself MMO's arnt your games.
  16. If you really insist on a laptop i'd go for a ASUS
  17. Plenty of Imp npc's to blast that's good enogh for me if i wanna slaughter Stormtroopers i just turn my ps3 on and play Force Unleashed II
  18. I'm confused if you have to play trough thoose 30 days then how come people have the veichle already?
  19. No it doesn't it just adds additional days counted from your current supscription rate so if you have 10 days left and add a gamecard he gets the days added on he's current amount of days remaining.
  20. That was harsh it just makes the healing more smooth then what it is at the moment manually target people in the frames click on them to target > Then you can heal them it's a freakin stoneage system.
  21. It wont get implemented unless BW added macro support ingame.
  22. God forbid if they picked Sony there assuming that scenario would happend that they had to look for a new one...
  23. Then i recomend a ASUS in 600-700£ class will last for ages if you are gonna get yourself a proper gaming pc eventually. ASUS Quality That's a heavy version pretty decent gaming laptop not sure how the later versions are i used to have one of thoose about 2 years ago but i sold and built a new desktop PC again becuse i got bored of PS3 and SW was getting closer to release which was what i was waiting for basicly haha and D3. Does the job at least the only negative part is that it is a bit expensive.
  24. Here we go again another laptop question, don't get me wrong i don't mind give a headsup or two regarding hardware questions but there is no decent laptop around worth buying for just gaming they are workstations desktop pc's are the way to go and a quick look on that Acer you linked it's decent but there are a major concern and that's the ati chip in it. You'd be surprised how much juice the game actully requires to run with higher settings and you wont get that performance from a laptop unless you go spend 2000 euros on a overrated Alienware or similar which arnt worth the money anyway imo. Best way is to build your own PC by taking help from a netshop or local pc store that knows what they are doing buy a very solid motherboard (for future upgrades) and a i5 from 3-3.4Ghz if you are low on cash buy a Nvidia 570 card or ATI alike around the same numbers roughly 300 euros they are pretty cheap after the "6" series release and they still kick arse. Should land on around 1000-1200 euros exluding monitor keyboard etc.
