  1. Hi Jackie, any update regarding the catch-up mechanic?
  2. Pillars has been actively working on the latest operations! Lots of fun on both Republic and Imperial sides! We also participate in conquests, have PvP nights, and regularly run Flashpoints with guildies.
  3. As of now, the operation conquest objectives are tied to defeating the final boss. The current system doesn't really encourage full runs of operations so I don't believe this was really intended. Here are my suggestions! 1) Each operation objective requires the defeat of each operation boss This would work like any multi-objective achievement in the game. Each boss will be 0/1 to start with and once defeated will be marked in green as complete. Once the final boss is finished, the points for that operation objective are granted and the objective resets. This adjustment to the operation objectives would encourage full completions of operations, which I believe was the original intent of having operation conquest objectives. 2) Each operation boss has its own objective Unlike option #1, instead of changing the original objective, this option would have an objective for each operation boss. The overall point value from each boss objective for a respective operation could still equal 2000 points. Other possibility is just a flat rate for each boss, so maybe 250 points. I also feel like a multiplier of 50% could be added to each boss for HM/NiM modes. 3) Each operation's Weekly Mission is an objective instead. A rather simple approach would be just to tie the weekly operation missions to conquest objectives. Of course, this can be taken advantage of too. Post your suggestions here. I'm sure there are better ideas out there.
  4. Pillars of Ashla has been in the top 10 in the past two conquest events and are looking strong for this week! We schedule conquest events to make the experience more social and enjoyable overall. Note that while we love being on the leaderboard, Pillars certainly doesn't force members to hit a certain number of conquest points. Play how you want to! We still keep our ops schedule going, PvP events, etc.
  5. Indeed! Lots of fun and with great guildies too! Speaking of PvP, we will start running ranked matches on Friday PvP Nights. Hitting 1500 rating will be tough, but going in with a group feels much better than hoping for a solid team in the solo queue.
  6. I've been with Pillars of Ashla for about 2 months now and just wanted to say they are a great fit for me! I'm a casual player that likes to dabble in all aspects of the game such as PvE, PvP warzones (and hopefully ranked soon!), and Open World PvP. For PvE content, Pillars of Ashla has both gearing and progression op runs each week and will be introducing a Fun Run event for those of us slackers that never ran the early ops There are also plans for class workshops, which, as a relatively noobish tank, I will greatly benefit from. While people may find this crazy, I've played SWTOR since closed beta and never set a foot in an op until I joined Pillars of Ashla. They've been patient with me during the gearing ops Of course, if you are into flashpoints, there tends to be no trouble finding a group among the online guild members. With PvP, we have faction-neutral PvP nights 2 times a week. I believe the tentative plan is to gear up participants and then start tackling the ranked warzones before the end of Season 1. In addition, we are now participating in an open world PvP event with a few other guilds. The last event on CZ-198 had about 20+ on both Republic and Imp side battling it out! I thought the server was having a hard time keeping up with that open world action If you are an achievement hunter like myself, you finally have a chance to progress on those PvP achievements while beating Imps (one of my favorite activities). Pillars of Ashla offers something for any casual player! Not only does the guild offer so much, but I feel it is organized very well, with its own charter that spells out member responsibilities, guild policies, and the general principles of the guild. The charter provides a solid foundation for the guild. Come and check out Pillars of Ashla!
  7. This issue has happened on more than one occasion now, so I'm going to post it. I couldn't find a similar thread in search, so I apologize if it has already been reported. Location: Section-X Quest: [DAILY] The Dread Guard (Republic) Issue: When I start this daily quest, my bonus begins with the final stage. At first, I thought less work for me! Turns out, after completing the final stage, I needed to do the whole bonus quest chain starting from Stage 1. Yesterday, I decided to abandon the bonus quest (again started at final stage) and reactivated it by killing some mobs to start Stage 1 properly. I got through the first three stages fine, but when I was supposed to do the final stage, it didn't show up. I don't believe I got credit for completing the bonus quest. Please look into this and hope I'm not the only one running into this issue!
  8. New crashed ship quest NE Dune Sea, check it out!
  9. Any idea on respawn? Missed the group for it earlier. Now there are Imps running rampant.
  10. Are there plans to fix the myriad of bugged Codex entries with 1.2? Numerous titles, lore objects, persons of note, bestiary entries, and species entries are either missing completely from the game or are not working as intended.
  11. For Ops, that makes sense. For PvP, it only does for pre-mades, but you can still test as a solo PvPer too. I think guilds who do have 8+ players that will test should get first priority with character transfer, but individuals who are interested in testing should also be given an opportunity to transfer over.
  12. My thoughts in an another thread: The only way to get your characters copied over is by being in an active guild with around 8+ members who will be devoted to testing. This really does limit those of us who are in smaller guilds, that are rather active in end-game content, but simply do not have the kind of shared interest to test. I may make a character just to check out the new vendors at the fleet, but I will not be able to test some changes, like the skill tree changes and PvP content at end-game. I've always enjoyed testing and have beta tested considerably for SWTOR. Sort of feel it is rather pointless without the character transfer.
  13. Really enjoy seeing something like this and the collective, investigative work to solve it!
  14. Just keep playing your story, you'll see him. I'm missing Sullustan as well.
  15. There's supposedly a 30 min delay (maybe an hour?) between sending and receiving.
  16. The droid can be used to mark a target I suppose, that's about it really. There are other better marking techniques though.
