I've seen TFUII used at Gamestop for around $18, but I still can't bring myself to buy it. I liked the 1st one, but I keep hearing about how short the 2nd was & how the story blew, etc. I guess I could always rent it for a night or two...

That's why I couldn't play WoW for long, I was playing constantly & got burned out in a matter of months. With SWTOR, I'm taking my time. Just enjoying the ride. Plus I only play when my wife is playing, so we can level together, that helps a lot. With every class having it's own story line, I can't see why more people wouldn't roll an alt. Who knows, you might play a class you had no real interest in, but find you really enjoy.

I disagree. If you come across anyone that has never watched them, the best way to watch them is 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6. That way, you still have that OMG moment at the end of ESB, because the prequels ruin that. The only spoiler to watching them in this sequence is the fact that Luke & Leia are twins.

Here's a question some of you might be able to answer. I used to be all up-to-date on PC tech, but I've fallen out of the loop in the last couple years. My PC is still doing well enough at ~30FPS, but I'd like to upgrade the video card like the OP mentioned; mid-range, not too expensive, but nothing cheap either. My question is my motherboard is equipped with a PCIe 16x slot. I've heard some say that a 2.0/2.1 will work in it, but others say it will not. What is the truth?

Try contacting CS? I know in other MMOs they could undo things like that, not sure if it's possible here or not. Worth a shot.

Like everyone else said, after you choose Assassin & get the container with the double-bladed lightsaber, you should be able to equip it automatically. Worked like that in beta & I did it just last night.

I do see a lot of Rogue aspects to Assassin (not just name, either), but that's the beauty of this game & the skill trees, the possibilities are endless!

I pre-ordered on Nov 18th. Not expecting anything until Sunday at the earliest. I find getting all excited every time my e-mail alert on my phone goes off, it'll seem to take longer.

Sorry, but I do think everyone is overreacting. You paid more for all the goodies in the box, not special treatment. You'll get your money's worth in the form of journals & Sith Lord figurines that I won't get, because I am only interested in the game. And it's not BW, but Amazon that decided not to offer Release Date Delivery on CE's. Yes, the whole "Grace Period Fiasco" is a giant clusterscrew to all involved, but you can't expect them to give game access to people that could have cancelled their orders after submitting their pre-order codes. Might not seem like much, but giving away 2 weeks of time is about the equivalent to $7.50 per person. Say only 10 people do this, they only lose $75. How about if 100 people do it? Now you are up to $750. Say a million people pre-order & maybe 1000 people do this? Bam, $7,500. That's assuming there's a lot of dishonest people or a lot of people looking to treat EGA & Grace Period as their own personal "Demo" period. That's just the price of the subscription fees, I won't get into the actual product costs... Sure, you may say they are just a money-grubbing company, but by your own words, they ARE a company. Companies need money to continue to pay their employees & pay for costs like servers & maintenance & development. I'm tired & I have work tomorrow morning for a money-grubbing company, because my kids have gotten used to eating everyday.

I wish all I had to worry about in life is when I get my game & how long will I be without it. Calm down, guys. It's really not that big an issue.

You seem a little jaded, presumably because you didn't get in the first round. Look at it this way, they didn't have to give us early access at all, so be thankful for that.
