Can't believe no one has mentions this...but its castable ON THE MOVE. Its great to keep healing your tank while running from an aoe or repositoning. Its not a bad heal if you factor in it casts quick. And its free...Primary i heal with it as much as i can and top of with rs/hs as needed. The advantage is, i always have the gas charges i need when **** hits the fan and my heat is almost always at zero.

I just got it so my data sample is limited, But i've seen it crit the first tick of the dot and not the other 2. This seems to indicate crits are figured for each tick, though probally worth mentioning is the HS that triggered the hot itsself crit.

Ops can rez, Commandos can not. (republic version of merc) But has anyone actually been excluded from a group/op because of this reason?

But do you feel at a disadvantage vs other healers because of the lack of battle rez?

I do just fine with mine, I'm full Bodyguard spec'd. Though lately the class quests seem a bit rougher. Healing wise i can keep myself up. I just have little time for much else. Essentally i heal myself till mobs get bored and go home. My problem on the server i'm on, I cant find a single tank thats actually tank spec'd. I normally have to turn down healers when starting a flash point! I've seen alot of dps spec'd tanks that try and do ok. We normally make it through with a few rough patches. And i've seen alot of clueless "tanks" that lie about being a tank just to get groups.

Just looking ahead i realize mercs and commandos are the ONLY healer that does not receive a battle rez. At first glance this looks to be quite a major issue. How do other lvl 50 mercs feel about this, and do they find it to be an issue? I guess i'm just looking ahead and wondering if i'm going to end up excluded from groups/ops based on this? I know no one is perfect and things happen and people die. Even the best healer cant fix stupid sometimes...The argument of not letting people die really isnt valid. So that being said do mercs feel at a disadvantage because of this?

I regularly run with a sorc. His heals hit considerably harder than mine. And i'm bodyguard spec'd And yes much envy of the bubble.

I feel like i'm flying a garbage scow All the other ships are very sleek looking.
