  1. I'd like to see a log similar to a combat log for crew skills. I'm sure most serious crafters have manual processes of recording the information important to themselves but I can imagine the amazing parsers that would spring up and give crafters all of the information right at there finger tips. I imagine three types of records: A Job Start Record - Containing the Companion, their Affection, the Skill Rating (1-450), the cost, the duration A Job Result Record - Potentially multiple for each job GTN Sales Record - Pipe dream but it'd be nice to automatically track your profit
  2. There's been a marked improvement with this fight but I think it's still way above the suggested gear level and is way out of line with the rest of the operation bosses. I love the encounter, but a group with a gear average close to 72s, average DPS, and an understanding of the fight shouldn't be close to the enrage timer. My number one suspect is the Dispatchers, on my combat logs, the dispatchers on 8-man hit harder (1320 vs 1200) and have a higher DPS (190 vs 135 on a healer, the variance my be greater on a DPS) than 16-man. While their output doesn't directly effect our DPS much(healers can't DPS as much, may have to stall a wave to top off on health), but I'm thinking it could mean that their health is as high or higher on 8-man SM vs 16, that would definitely increase the length of the fight. Another possibility is that the Enrage timer is tighter than it needs to be. We didn't run it perfectly clean, but as over-geared as we are, we should have plenty of time to spare. We did beat it after wiping against the enrage twice, Draxus died 2-4 seconds after enraging, we easily one-shot the other 4 bosses.
  3. Check out Noblesse Oblige (link in sig). We're a casual, mature guild. We tend to do a lot of PvE endgame activities but have a lot of players who are always willing help out with leveling or general questions. There's also a growing interest in PvP with the new Arenas arriving today! We also have a mumble server and use it quite a bit, not just for running ops.
  4. You didn't mention what you're looking for in a guild, but if you're looking for a casual guild that likes to run Ops, check out Noblesse Oblige (link in Sig). We run ops 3-4 nights a week. We're just starting to work our way through HM TFB & S&V, so if you're looking to continue running NiMs, it will be a while before we're ready to tackle those. We've got a strong core of players who enjoy running together and chatting on Mumble. Check us out!
  5. I saw this happen on 8-man HM TFB last month, it's not necessarily about this patch. On our run, after the Writhing Horror and clearing the trash before the next boss, our group lead invited a ninth to the op group, promoted him to lead and then dropped out of the group. At that point we were all kicked out of the instance. We had to clear the trash leading to the Dreads again. We wiped a couple times on Op IX and each time we had to clear the data core rooms. After doing that a couple times we gave up. It seems that if it happens once, it'll happen again, might as well drop group, reform and come in fresh.
  6. Checkout Noblesse Oblige (link in sig). We're a casual guild with very consistent core of 8-10 players, we're on Mumble every night and we could always use more people looking to participate in end-game. We typically run 2-4 ops a week and tend to run a lot of FPs other wise. We could definitely help you turn those 66s into 69s pretty quickly.
  7. Checkout Noblesse Oblige (link in sig). We're a mature, casual guild but we're running Ops all of the time. This week we're continuing a 16-man HM S&V progression run on Friday and then we're running SM TFB for the weekly on Saturday. I can't say we'll be running something both days every week, but we'll probably be running an Op on one of them. Good luck with your search!
  8. Check out Noblesse Oblige (link in Sig). We're a casual guild but we typically run ops 4-5 nights a week, This week we've already run a couple of classic ops and HM TC and we'll be participating in a 16-man HM S&V with another guild as well. We've got a pretty solid core of individuals and we are normally running together even when we're not in an Op.
  9. Check out the Latest Patch Notes for the PTS, it's seems like someone was listening...
  10. The rest of this thread was written before all of the covert pieces had entered the market. I believe the leg and head slots are the only ones that don't have a covert piece, at this time.
  11. First, let me say I love the new ship Guild Bank kiosk! Second, I love that you moved the Jedi's ship GTN kiosk up next to the cargo hold and the GB kiosk! Can the repair droids can be moved up to the same area on the Defender? In the large room with the holocomm would also be much more convenient, if the little room doesn't have room. All of the other ships have all four in a small area. And while we're on the subject of quality of life features, can the next legacy unlock be a Field Cargo Hold Droid, it can have a crazy cooldown rate, maybe 48hrs->36hrs->24hrs? Maybe Field GTN Droid with a more reasonable CD, 24hrs->12hrs->3hrs? Thanks! Keep up the good work!
  12. Hello, checkout Noblesse Oblige (link in sig). We're a casual PvE guild, we do raid weekly but it's not mandatory. We run lots of dailies and FPs as well throughout the week. We have some people who are leveling and some leveling alts but the majority of active members have at least one 55 to run with, if not a few. Check us out.
  13. If you're still looking check out Noblesse Oblige (link in sig)! We're a mature casual guild and we run FPs and Ops regularly.
  14. You are definitely geared well enough for 55 HM flashpoints, but I wouldn't go near HM TFB or HM S&V unless you in a VERY over-geared group and they know they're carrying you. But that is plenty of gear for all of modes of the level 50 Ops.
  15. Has anyone else experienced the adds during the CZ-8X fight not attack? Last night while running the FP they spawned as normal approached within range, they may have attacked once and then acted like they were stunned. They just sat there and let us burn 'em down. I'm not really complaining, it made the fight easier, but I thought I'd mention the strange behavior. There is also a strange event that has occurred a few times where we'll manage to pull all of the enemies during the decent to CZ-8X, and when I say all, I mean ALL, even the ones stories below our current location. I seems to happen during the pull on the second ramp. We were a full group and used group finder.
