Sorcs have one insta heal and it's a heal over time. The aoe has a long enough cast time that if you were at all competent you'd interrupt and even if you didn't you should be able to comfortably outdps it. Bottom line if you're can't easily bring down a healer right now it's a gear or skill issue.

I don't have a real problem not getting much for a loss, my issue is the unintended result of this. I've come into a couple losing games because people left the minute it went bad, why stay when there is no motivation to stick around and no punishment for leaving.

Did you have trouble with healers before this? You're a Sent according to your sig so you really shouldn't have unless you don't know how to interrupt or come in the wz in greens. If you ever had four people who couldn't take down a healer I don't know what to tell you but maybe pvp isn't for you.

It changes somewhat but overall Jedi is kind of constrained if you go full darkside in reality you should be a Sith at that point. The game can't just have you switch over to the Empire though so they do what they can. Keeping in mind the lack of spoilers I'll just say on my Consular my ds/ls choice was mentioned at the end and it determined some of the choices I could make but it didn't allow me to do anything drastic like overthrow the Jedi Council or something.

Thank you. I can't speak for the other healing classes but as a Sage (heal specced) fighting a DPS that knows what to do is a always a losing proposition. The Sith Warriors in particular seem to be able to lock me down and dps me pretty quickly,

I'm aware the they existed they weren't a coherent story and you know it. They've even "innovated" them out of the game now. At least on lock you can just buy most of what you had to quest for.

You either didn't play WoW when it came out of your coming down with amnesia.

I'm not claiming TOR was a be innovator but comparing the level 60 class quests to the class quests in TOR doesn't fly. It's like saying a pointy stick is the same thing as a AK-47 you can't compare them and you know it. I did the level 60 quests on 3 different characters and I couldn't tell you what any of them were about story-wise they were just ways to have you kill time and WoW didn't pretend any different. Also saying that something is only aesthetic is a cop out, most of a game is aesthetics that why people play them.

Let me stop you right there, I also don't like to attack people personally but if you think WoW's lore is the greatest story ever told in an MMO there is something wrong with you. It's not even decent and I say this as somebody who has played the series since the original Warcraft Orcs vs Humans. The "lore" is a mess of retcons and flimsy excuses to fight somebody so you can get loot. I could forgive a lot but what finally made me say enough is the fact that almost every third boss seems to be somebody who should be on your side but has either gone crazy or is being controlled, it's just lazy writing. Twenty bucks says the next expansion has you fighting Thrall after he too goes crazy. I loved those old games I actually used to enjoy following the lore and I defended the game as long as I could but it's clear that Blizzard has run out of ideas and is basically shoving out whatever they can think of to keep the game making them money. I don't want to make this a personal thing so let me just close by saying if you enjoy WoW's story I'm glad somebody does. I don't have any anger towards the game and I enjoyed my time playing but I'm done with it.

If you read the post I said I'm enjoying the game and essentially I agreed with you, some people are born whiners who you can't please, I just thought the OP's way of presenting the argument was poorly thought out.

Prepare to be unpleasantly surprised then. The trolls won't go away especially on the forums. Wow forums are still full of whiners, if you went by the forums you'd think wow should have failed years ago from all the people who were leaving for good. Trolls are actually a good sign nobody bothers trolling a game that nobody cares about.

You do realize the irony of making a post defending the game then claiming you don't feel the need to be a part of the debate because you're too busy enjoying the game? I understand the point you were driving at, mainly that it's the complainers we hear from and that people who are content are usually silent. For the record I'm enjoying the game myself apart from some serious lag spikes and the wait to get on.

Did you even read the post? Can you read? The complaint was entirely about vanity items and them not working as advertised. The OP never asked for something that would give an advantage over another player.
