I'm only going to reply once to this thread, then unsubscribe. and the only reason i'm responding is because you guys were cool in your response and not unnecessarily jerky.
your comments about wow completely misconstrue and wrongly characterize the two relationships. I was with wow from vanilla to cata. I was very dedicated and stuck around through the worst stuff there. I didn't just jump from one ship to the next. I left there after 6+ years and really did like that game when i left. there were definitely issues, but that had more to do with the blizzard staff than the game itself.
The problems in swtor are at least a year away from fix. they are resolving surface matters as opposed to the mechanical problems that prevent solid gear paths.
regarding the guild - I'm not abandoning my guild and we're not shutting it down - we're going to find a new game we enjoy together. Did you miss the part where pretty much everyone in my guild (which has been around for 10 years) left the game after hitting 50? Those who are left have been given ample notice, and most agree with me and are leaving the game anyway.
having said all that - there is still only one bottom line: bioware screwed this whole thing up. As I said in the post - bottom line, they gave us a car without tires. I realize that those who post here will disagree, and that's fine. I respect your opinions. But my guild resignations show otherwise...
