  1. So they've specifically said the rep advance issue won't be addressed in today's update but they're considering a fix in the next patch. I hope they're thinking hard. https://forums.swtor.com/topic/934346-conquest-changes-following-741// I am completely demotivated. I realise today I'm not keen on playing parts of the game because the conquest points for reputation advance were previously a key motivator. The newest daily area (Kessan's Landing) also offers no conquest reward for completion of the weekly mission set. Why would I want to grind there? Even the older daily areas (and recurring events) often offer little cq for actually completing the area, so what is driving people to play them now? (Maybe that's more for players who didn't max the rep 8 years ago.) I haven't played the GSI missions since I maxed it and checking the list today there is no cq reward specifically for GSI, and those missions are far too annoying to carry no reward.
  2. Since update 7.4.1, the four objective markers have been missing from "Unconventional Methods". See screenshot below, captured when I'd already done 1 of the 4 and you can see the markers are missing from the map. This is not helpful for players who don't know this mission well!
  3. You found the only CQ compensation there is and yes, it's a complete joke. People don't hide or obfuscate the truth unless they think it won't go down well... I'd started to feel confident that the new devs had a firm hand on the wheel but the rep nerf and the weirdness with 'junk' rewards makes me feel like they're driving with their eyes closed.
  4. I think this is a good analysis - it's the ongoing desire to change the economics in the game. I'm not against the goal, just the lazy way it's been attempted and the associated communication failure. You can't just hit one specific thing for this goal - it requires a lot more consideration to avoid the loss of loyalty as described above and in many other posts. There have been other changes in the game in the last year that left a bad taste and most people got over it. But this time you've gone too far.
  5. If you unsub you'll be "preferred" and still have everything you've unlocked before and should find that even new expansions are included. You lose access to some group stuff. The only thing that bothers me is the 1m credits limit, which prevents you buying expensive GTN items.
  6. Definitely. And they list so many tiny things in patch notes, yet not such a major gut punch to players because they know that's exactly what it is. I see a huge amount of negativity on the other post I linked to, so I hope they will see that, own their screwup, and do SOMETHING sensible to redress it.
  7. GSF can be horrible. I've used it in previous seasons for seasons points, but the rest of the time I'd rather leave a toon dormant than suffer GSF. With the new season I'm not sure I care that much about points and might leave that toon dormant.
  8. Someone else suggested increase max stronghold bonus from 150% to compensate for nerfing CQ - great idea! People who already have more strongholds than needed for 150% would get the appropriate uplift (about 3% per module), and the Copero stronghold would add to that - perhaps if you have all strongholds maxed (including Copero), the cq points for rep at xxx% should be closer to the old figure, with increases on all other cq objectives balancing things too. You would then provide more motivation for people to play GS6 to max the Copero stronghold. Why didn't someone think of this instead of stealth-nerfing the game? ALSO, I see you still have NO cq points for Kessan's Landing - not even 'defeat enemies'! That is surely an oversight and does not motivate me to play that location beyond the story.
  9. I actually think this change might kill the game. It's already hard enough to get PVP or GSF and now there will be fewer ppl prepared for the extra effort needed - for what reward exactly???
  10. Before, you could drop the GS rep (or any other saved rep) for 45k daily, now you grind without any GS rep. You now get 21k once a week for completing 4 GS objectives, and 9.5k daily if you gain a level, which is pathetic. I'm personally demotivated as the rewards aren't worth that much grind, and were already questionable value before the cq points were nerfed.
  11. See response here: https://forums.swtor.com/topic/934053-blueprint-fragments-are-considered-junk/?do=findComment&comment=9803611
  12. Prior to 7.4.1 (12 March 2024 update) I was getting about 45k conquest points for advancing reputation. That's with 150% stronghold bonus. Now the figure for me is about 7,625. (I know the exact amount depends on guild perks.) I can't find any reference to this in the patch notes, so this is a bug. Right?!
  13. Expected this to be fixed in the patch earlier this week as it affects movement and therefore changes my gameplay experience (I don't want to play my toon because you broke her, meanwhile you carry on taking my money). WHEN WILL THIS BE PATCHED?
  14. It's movement as well as animation - my marauder moves to her target for this attack (meaning other attacks are now in range) but the movement is now broken too, so reduces options without manually moving to the target.
  15. There's also this page - https://help.ea.com/uk/contact-us/new/?product=star-wars-the-old-republic&platform=pc&category=technical-support&issue=game-performance&subject=SWTOR&isChannelSelection=true - which doesn't make it clear that the numbers are not for in-game support. After chasing the CommunityTeam a few times to expand on who the "appropriate team" is and when I am likely to hear from them, I've heard nothing from anyone. Despite the initial promising engagement, again it's been proved that this company just takes money from its customers/subscribers and doesn't give a sh*t about their satisfaction. I like the game despite the many bugs, but I will be unsubscribing once I've completed the current expansions.
