  1. If this is happening in 1-49 then well that just sucks. If this is happening at 50+ either run with friend or your just using luck to see what happens. 50+ is normally people trying to bang out a daily. Really your going to get the most or better gear trying to throw a quick 8 man run of EV HM or EC story-mode, with some well gear friends.
  2. Yeah I dont hold much hope for terror from beyond only from the simple fact is it will probably be mostly a sideways loot progression. But at least we will have something else to beat.
  3. Sounds like a horrible Idea, mostly changing loot to let F2P players have access to it. Once I read that you wanted it dummied down and that it should drop columi I just stopped reading your post. I like that your putting effort into finding a way to improve the game but in this case I just flat out disagree.
  4. Only thing I think that is really preventable is number 5. If you notice the walker does have two abilities the massive AOE and just firing a couple shots, he normally points where ever fires of his two bolts then flips his head back into the rotation of the 5 AOE areas. You just have to really pay attention to where the last AOE went down and move to that area, we only seem to encounter it on our second group of warriors we always have to move back to the middle during that fight. We do the same thing for warrior just burn the warrior down and kill the rest, if two dps get on it right away he tends to die almost right away, we dont really lose any time here, good news is the bomber wont appear until the last group is dead. He has to taunt during breath of the master or your other tank will get one shoted no matter what. Sometimes the extra bomber appears when your dps is a little slow on the one you killed and the game reads it as have not being defeated in time. Yeah for the walker it basically takes 10% a tick the entire time the payer is under it, I have found their personal shield will mitigate a ton of that dmg, a sorc being bubbled should be having a problem. For the rail shot we find most of the time it does hit the person furthest away. Only way I know to beat it is to make sure you leave the walker a wee bit early in that second phase to get inside the hitbox of the droid. Normally we have him to 8-10% by then anyways so it's not a big deal if you keep having issues pull away around 15-20% and just make it up. Sounds like you have a pretty sound strat in place, head over to MMO mechanics I think they have a video of the tank perspective on Kephis. It should help with the breath of the masters timing. I have a few videos as well but all from melee dps perspective.
  5. Looks like this creeped over to the Harbinger as well people getting kick from the game and not being able to log in. Not sure what's happening in the middle of our raid all of sudden two people couldn't move then when we all died 3 people got ported to a different instance of the game and then couldn't get back into the game while we showed them all logged in still in our guild panel.
  6. I love this game too. I hate to see shove to the wayside. I think everyone could agree if it launched as 1.2 Instead of 1.0 it would have had much much more success. The lack of new content for PVE is what is really holding the game back. It couldn't be to hard to put NM flashpoints and maybe a new operation. We are starving for it we have HM EC down to 2 hour or less run now all our characters and half our alts are in full campaign it's time to bring out the new stuff.
  7. Seems normal for an EA game expected a little more from Bio though. I hope they get it together drop the F2P bomb on the community then just not say a word.... Seems a little strange to me.
  8. We found this only happens if we were lagging dps on the bomber and even though we killed him the game registers that he blew up and sends us another one. Easiest way to fix it is by killing the bomber faster. It will happen in any stage if you meet the exact circumstances. I dont know we are clear HM EC in 2 hours or maybe 2.5 now we even brought in some alts on our last run, so it's doable the more gear you get the easier it becomes.
  9. It's great that you will be able to buy new outfits and stuff in the store makes it kind of pointless if you dont adjust the lower tier gear to carry set bonuses though. Tell me why would a F2P player spend money to buy coins to get an outfit when they cant do opps and a columi set bonus wont transfer to their shinny new outfit. Just a thought if you want to gain revenue from your F2P model you have to put some thought into whats what.

I really like that we have all the adaptive social gear and orange crafted gear to customize your look problem is unless your crushing HM EC on a weekly basis a lot of that gear is worthless if you want to maintain your set bonuses. I know from a previous Dev discussion it was said that Columi and Rakata gear wouldn't be updated to having set bonuses on the armoring. Some of that was said because well damn it's a lot of work to update every one of those armoring in the game to have their reflective set bonuses now. Think of the players running around in rakat/columi. I know this idea might be a lot of work also but it could help bridge the gap and let people with alts and more social players get access to the new social gear and keep their set bonus intact. Why not update the Columi and Rakata set armoring going forward and not the set's people have already purchased. Keep the same stats rename the armoring in the Set's with a Columi/Rakata prefix and whola you have created sets everyone can get access to and made all the hard work you have done with orange/social gear viable. I think this would be a great start and while yes it would take a week or so to grab some of the new columi for alt's and new alts or characters coming up with the GF tool out there and the daily/weekly quests it could be done very easily. This might be a little out of the box for the dev's or already thought of, but I know you could do it. Creating just a new armoring to put in a shell and copying the stat's over from a previous armoring hopefully wouldn't be to big of a strain on your resources.
  12. This happens to use about everyweek, we just kind of expect it make sit close on the enrage timer but we find a way to do it.
  13. Our main group runs with two marauders. So yeah it's viable maybe some extra heals on Zorn and Toth but that's that smash rocks me even in full campaign. I would suggest if your not in full campaign as a marauder then you stay spec'd in the aoe reduction.
  14. Make sure if you have Marauders in your group that they dont use force leap during that part. Me and the other Marauder in my group basically cut that out because we notice sometimes then a cleave and an overload go off at the same time you can only see both casting if your bar is set to max size. If you run with Two Marauders assign one to cleave an done to overload they will always have their interrupt up, try not to use force leap. If your using any other class with a longer cool down on their interrupt set up a three person rotation and call it in vent. Once we stopped force leaping we got rid of the double cast and it makes for a nice clean run.
  15. Yep not to mention the random trash reset if you wipe and dont leave someone inside the zone apparently it can shift you from one instance to another of the fleet resetting all the trash.
  16. I logged in today queued up for my first real experience with the group finder and am totally underwhelmed. What good is a tool if 500 people are on the fleet and you cant get a group going with it. Yep two full instances, queued for level 50 HM FP and nothing is happening. Reminds me of doing the same laps as before the GF even came out. Maybe cross-server is something you still need to look into. I've always been a fan of cross server as long as it always tries to match you with people from your server first.
  17. Since you guys seem to be watching this thread why cant we Augment our Matrix cubes. The meet the only criteria listed as "You can augment any equippable item of at least Premium quality. This is pretty much everything in the game except some low level junk loot." Maybe something went wrong here.

  19. I agree with the OP making it last resort is just silly alot of games haven't flourished until the had a x server LFG tool. I would have it built just in case I ever needed it. Not worry about it when people start leaving and droves and the pulling all nighters to get it ready.
  20. How funny we do the opposite for a couple reasons. 1. Stormcaller controls the entire fight, defensive systems is triggered by Stormcallers health so you should always know when it's coming 80% 60% 40% and 20% 2. Probably a bug but we start getting random bubbles if Firebrands health is lower then Stormcallers. What we do is get Stormcaller about 5% ahead then we have our 2 highest dps stay on it. At the last defensive systems 20% we have are two ranged jump on Stormcaller for DD then we have our two Marauders on Firebrand we burn Stormcaller to about 8% then focus everything on Firebrand until its dead then flip back to Stormcaller FTW! Once we really got into and realized what controls the defensive systems it's become really easy for us to do. Same strat for HM. Also we keep our tanks Firebrand at about 2O'clock and Stormcaller about 10 O'clock with our DPS at 6 ish on both.
  21. We find we actually have to slow our DPS down on Toth otherwise our tank goes back on the switch and still has the debuff then he dies in like 10 seconds. So basically we are waiting longer after the switch to jump in and start DPSing again. We wait until he does the smash then add 5 seconds then go in and burn him down. You cant send your tank back over with fearfull it's just to much for even the best healer to take. Also don't lose heart on gear progression on our team we rock SM every week and HM, but we started using story to get the com's and us those for Blackhole mods, Stack some power then switch out the armoring when you start getting campaign.
  22. In our group for 8 man we keep one of the healers on the ground dodging bubbles if you watch Stormcallers head you can see when the rocket comes out. Man thing you want to watch is Stormcallers health drives the entire fight but you want to kill Firebrand first. SO top 2 dps on Stormcaller. In our group we rock all of the defensive systems 80 60 40, on the last one at 20% we have our range flip over to storm caller but only dps Firebrand until he dies then we all flip over to Stormcaller and wipe him out. Thats been our strat in SM it also works in HM, we now down these guys every week.
