  1. Either way, i guess it's safe to say that we all agree on the fact that atleast some companions need to be able to say more then what they currently say. Or least change it in a way where a character does'nt say the same things like 3 - 5 times in a row like i often have with Gault. I know they read these topics and i am also sure they have the ability to make the "adjustment" / changes but i feel like, they don't care. But BioWare (because i know you guys read these threads), see it like this: What if someone constantly tells you to... let's say "Hey <name> Can u go back to work now?" multiple times shortly after each other? Like this for example: "Hey <name> Can u go back to work now?" "Hey <name> Can u go back to work now?" "Hey <name> Can u go back to work now?" Would'nt that drive you nuts "BioWare"?! If "yes" I can tell that THAT's the same thing that companion "Gault" is doing And i refuse to use him on missions because of it. I really love the whole Star Wars franchise, but this... This is ridiculous Heck... Even Jar Jar Binks is'nt just as annoying.
  2. But u do agree with me that it's quitte annoying when pretty much all he says is "might try ducking next time" "might try ducking next time" "might try ducking next time" Right?
  3. Hey there, So i was playing on my Mercenary for abit and tried to work on bonding with Gault Rennow but once out, he slowly starting to get annoying. I mean, most of the time (and i really mean alot) when he comes out, pretty much the only thing he says is "Might try ducking next time." and it's starting to get hella annoying. And i really think that BioWare (since it's their game) should do something about it. Like, an increased dictionary. (Even if that would mean re-hiring "Daran Norris" since he's the one that voiced Gault Rennow) But knowing BioWare, i won't hold my breath. But as of this moment... i refuse to have him out during missions.
  4. 1. Well, that Marauder is'nt currently in a guild yet but on another character on another server, i was in a guild but when i asked for help there... i did'nt get much of a response to it either. 2. I did'nt know that, but now i do, thanks to you. Still... i think 3 minutes is a bit excessive. Especially considering that with everytime you die, you also have some repair costs, so to me, it's a bit... How do u say? what's the word for it? "overkill"?... I guess you know what i mean though.
  5. Okay, i am getting really sick and tired of this BS , Now let me elaborate: So, i am out there, on my level 34 Sith Marauder on Nar Shaddaa with my companion. Just me and my companion, trying to do some heroic quests and i have a hard time completing them because i seem to die alot. Now i can handle multiple regular mobs up to 3 strong ones (silver star) but with a quest like [Heroic 2+] Recruitment, it has groups of 2 strong mobs (silver star) and 1 elite (gold star) which is more then i can handle. Now you could say group up, ask / invite a friend or guildie to join now believe me, i tried that. I tried asking people by saying something like "LF some help with [Quest name]" Multiple times, actually. But i barely get a response to requests like that these days and i don't have many friends either. And not only will you end up with a repair bill for your gear but also a 3-minute cooldown if u died multiple times in a short time. This ofcourse "annoys" the hell out of me. I mean... really... is'nt the repair cost alone, enough "punishment"? (because that's how i see it), But no... they also have to put a 3-minute cooldown to it so i wanna know why. Why do people not only have to pay for repairs, but also get a cooldown of 3 minutes if they died multiple times in a short time? Really? Don't get me wrong, i DO love the whole Star Wars franchise, i really do and i DO like a challenge, but this...a 3-minute cooldown on resurrection. That's just ridiculous.
  6. I get that people can get upset when it's their 5th lost game in a row, i really do, But maybe it's an idea for them then to group up with people (like friends and/or guildies) so you have a bigger chance of being victorious with a Warzone match? I mean, really... if you want a guaranteed win, you need people that can play / work together, communicate (preferably by voice) as it's much faster then writing everything.. Team up and then queue.
  7. Well... i can understand both sides really. I mean... i also don't really like quitters, so implementing some kind of penalty is a good concequence. But, i also understand that this can cause even more "frustration" with certain players. The point is: Those were unranked matches. Matches that everyone can just queue for all by themself. So that means you'd end up with random people and personally, when you play with randoms, you can't honestly expect to win. I mean... Winning is nice but you can't expect it from an unranked Warzone match with randoms. And i think if people want a bigger chance of winning a Warzone, they are much better off finding people to do Warzones with (like with friends and/or guildies), a.k.a. a so called "Premade" before even queuing. But no, they much rather queue for a random unranked warzone all by themself and then complain when it goes bad, when it does'n't go the way they wanted (and that's putting it mildly).
  8. But i think with my suggested options, I think the first one is the most easiest and/or less time consuming one other then to implement another version of already existing armor sets
  9. Let's get something straight: I understand that some people like to have abit of mystery about them and therefore don't want hoods to be hidden, especially with a Sith and that's fine with me really, but the reason i brought this up is because there are some Jedi / Sith armor sets that DO look good, but with some cases, it looks better to hide the hood. So the way i see it, is that they could do either of the following 2 things: 1. Make an option to toggle hood on and/or off 2. Add certain armor sets that have both a hooded version and a non-hooded version
  10. Hey there people, So, as i was playing abit on my Jedi Guardian and wanted to give her a different look in terms of armor. Now that Jedi Guardian use to be a human but i changed it because i noticed that alot of jedi armors have hoods. Now if you're human character wears something like that, it makes it look like that character is completely bald while the character itself actually has hair. Same thing goes for the Sith side. So what i would like to see Jedi and Sith armor sets that either still show abit of a characters hair OR more hoodless Jedi and Sith armor sets because, right now, i am more or less forced to have made my character a different species, just so it hides the hood and i think it's ridiculous. Also... i think it would be nice to see more armor sets that shows the logo of the faction a character is fighting for. I know some Trooper and Imperial agent armor sets have it but not many Jedi and Sith armor sets have that. Does anyone else agree with me?
  11. Well, i mean, I'm pretty sure no one likes to lose, atleast i don't. But i don't think that constantly complaining about that we are going to lose the match... it's getting hella annoying and quite frankly, i am getting tired of hearing it over and over and over again. And not only that, it also brings the spirit down of the rest of the team which will result in an increased chance of losing. In other words, i truly believe that negativity like that won't get you very far. Positivity on the other hand, usually does.
  12. Hey there people, I'm sure this is'nt the only time i am about to mention something that has been mention before but i've got to get this off of my chest. You see, first and foremost, i am not much of a PVP-er at all, I am more of a PVE-er to be honest but often a daily or weekly P.O. requires you to do some PvP, either by doing Galactic Starfighter or Warzone matches and that's the reason why i do them. Now, that being said, Once i am inside a GSF or Warzone match, i can't help but notice that quitte abit of "players" seem to become so negative too fast. As soon as it hit's the fan... they say things like "This match is lost", "We're not going to win this" etc. And i don't know about you people but i think that's abit negative. It's not fun to read (to put it mildly) and it also brings down the entire spirit of the rest of the team as well. Like i said before "i am not much of a PVP-er at all" but i "dislike" to lose. Then again, who does? but if someone feels that way, that's fine but i much rather have them keep that to themself. It's not like i like to read the things i mentioned above over and over and over again, it's not like, i have to be reminded of it, like every... what? 2 minutes? and believe me, that DOES happen. Personally, i think that if they want a bigger chance of being victorious during a GSF or Warzone match, it's better to go premade. Get some friends or guild members that you know instead of doing unranked random warzone matches and constantly flap your gums about what i said above. I don't need to be reminded of it like, every 2 minutes or something and i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who feels that way.
  13. Yeah well... How was i suppose to know that that was a good moment to "escape"? But like i said... I guess the right moment to actually "escape" would be as soon as a new chapter begins.
  14. You know... It would be nice to get a response from BioWare for a change. I am sure they are aware of the fact that there are these "resprentives", "bots" (or however you or they wanna call 'em), that come out there, on both the republic as well as the imperial fleet and spam their "garbage" But the fact remains: I did'nt ask for it, i did't want it, and i'm sure i ain't the only one who feels like that either, so i want them gone. Permanently.
  15. Well... I'm now at the point where i defeated Arcann. Scorpio and Vaylin took over the throne and i had to do battle on Voss.
  16. Well, i mean... Don't get me wrong... I love the whole Star Wars franchise including the game, but at a certain point, i was like... When will there be a chance for me to take a break because it seems as if it's automatically put me on the next mission after i completed one and i'm like "Oh my... When can i get a break?!. But i guess... i can always back out when a new chapter starts then. Thanks to those that suggested this.
  17. So i recently started to move on to the KotFE expansions an eventually came to the point where i had to face Arcann. but then i noticed that with some chapters, it made it so that i end up in a phase zone for like atleast 3-4 hours and with the last one, i was in a phase zone for like 6 hours straight and i think that's ridiculous. I mean, sure... i could exit a phase zone at pretty much any given time, but i feel like... i can't really continue then later on where i have left if and once i DO return. OR are there moments that you could actually end a phase zone without having to risk that you won't be able to return to a certain specific point? I would appreciate any positive feedback. Thanks in advance.
  18. Yeah it is indeed nice and all but it also came with a bug. Maybe you've already noticed it, maybe not but the game requires another fix, because when you click on the "Character Appearance" (top right, next to where u can select certain outfits) button in your character page... it's missing stuff.
  19. I don't really get emails from them and thank God for that. It's just that i see them when i am on the fleet. And first, it was just one, but now there are 2 of them. I mean... i get it... They wanna offer their "services" but filling a whole chat channel up with that "garbage" because that's what it is, that ridiculous. And yeah sure... i could just leave that channel but that should'nt be neccesary. And sure, like i said above, i could also just ignore them but then another one would take its place. So putting them on ignore is kinda pointless.
  20. I know it's been quitte some time now since the last comment but this issue still remains today and quitte frankly, i am getting very "annoyed" by it to put it mildly. Before this, i've played World of Warcraft and they've had the exact same problem for some time. The only difference is, that company actually managed to deal with it and if they can do it, i'm pretty sure BioWare can too. I mean, sure... you could ignore that spammer but then another one would take its place and it keeps going, so there needs to be a permanent solution to it. And up until this weekend, it use to be just one "spammer" at a time but now that i saw 2 simultaneously, i am like: "This is getting out of hand... Now, there are 2 of them"
  21. Yeah, you are right on all points. But since i'm running the game through steam, here's what i did to solve the issue: 1. Go to Library 2. Right Click on the Game 3. Select "Properties" 4. Select "Local Files" 5. Select the one where it says "Integrity" It will check for missing files and any missing files will be re-downloaded again
  22. So when i logged into the game yesterday (after the update and maintenance), i could'nt help but noticing atleast 1 bug as well. You see, i logged on my Sith Sorcerer and i noticed that the legwraps were... How do u call it? not rendered properly? I've already tried relogging and that did'nt work. I also tried switching outfits and then back but that did'nt solve it either. Anyways... have a look on the name "Screenshot" under here and i'm sure you'll see what i mean: Screenshot And that brings me to my 2 questions: 1. Does anyone else have similar problem(s)? 2. How can this be fixed?
  23. Well, i have a few other things that might work, if not, i'll contact support. Thanks for the help
  24. Well, like i said... i did equip it on the same character i bought it on but it did'nt add it to my collection. Atleast not yet. When i hover my mouse over it, it does'nt show a certain cooldown either but it does say "Locked in Collections"
  25. First off, My sincerest appologies for kind of "resurrecting" an old topic but instead of making a whole new topic about the same thing, i thought it would be more organised if i just added my issue here as it's similar, so that being said... I already knew that when you buy certain full armor sets off of the Cartel Market or even on the GTN, They'll be added to the "Collections" section once you equip the whole set... But how about weapons? For example: There is currently this "Ziost Guardian" lightsaber on Flashsale on the Cartel Market. I transferred it to my inventory and then i equipped it which made it bind but it did'nt add it to the "Collections" window just yet. So then i hovered over the lightsaber and it said "Locked in Collections" I did'nt see anything else. Not even a cooldown timer. Now i already asked this in "General" too and atleast one other player said that i still have to wait some time before it gets added. So can anyone else please shed some light on this?
