  1. Agreed. I've contacted Customer Support about this, and I've been given at least four different results... none of which made any sense. This wasn't a thing until I started Onslaught on my main. To make matters worse, when replaying KOTFE and KOTET, it's calling upon the unavailable companions, which are naked and unarmed. There's nothing that can be done to fix that because, again, they're "unavailable." CS has done little to offer fixes, as I have been told that: > It's a new feature, the game is working as intended. Just keep playing through KOTFE to get them back. (no it's not, I've already gotten all my Inquisitor comps back) > The game is bugged. Run the repair to remove the duplicate entries (didn't work.) > The game is working as intended. Just collapse and ignore the spare entries. (that doesn't stick, when you change areas the collapsed tabs open) > The game is working as intended. The companions being naked is a bug. The separate entries should be invisible, but the game is working fine. Considering that somehow my extra Ashara and Andronikos somehow broke out of the Unavailable tab, I now have two seperate entities standing about my ship. But I can't modify their equipment, so they're permanently naked. (I did also run into an issue where all the story companions are now unarmed, but being story comps you can't modify their stuff. So now I legit cannot replay certain parts of KOTFE/KOTET because those people cannot assist me in combat. CS hasn't done anything for that other than "game's working fine, you're not supposed to give them different weapons.) If there isn't a fix to remove the companions that SHOULD be unavailable, then perhaps we can get a second feature with the locator to remove a companion from our list, which will basically lock them back up until we get them in the story.
  2. I think it'd be neat to adjust helmets/headgears to allow certain models to have a tuning-like slot for modulators. That way, if someone likes the sound of one helmet, but the model of another, they can pull it off with credits and shift it to the other. Or just remove it entirely if they want the jawpiece, but not the vocoder. And much like tunings, perhaps we can get exclusive ones added to the market for things that maybe wouldn't seriously fit, depending on how the game renders the effects. There could be restrictions on how it works, like maybe not applying to headbands or low-level geared drops.
  3. Likely to have been said before, but a Clone Wars Maul outfit would be killer to have. Cybernetic lower half similar yet different to 614/212 Cybernetics, shirtless, dye-able tattooed body for Zabaraks/Twi leks (maybe alternates with and without the gorget) and the belt offering the join between organic top half and cybernetic lower.
  4. I bet it'd be a headache to implement, but consider for a moment the ability to choose seperate gloves, bracers, and boots in the costume designer. Left being different from the right. That way, if you want asymmetric appearance, you can do so from a cosmetic standpoint. This won't add any additional gear slots, won't affect game balance because three extra objects, and wouldn't break down the entire costume collection to implement. So say you want to have a glove on your right hand, but not on your left. You can select the glove of choice, put it in a right hand slot. Then the cosmetic gloves in your left. Bracers and gloves can do the same. Gloves that are already asymmetric, like the Herald of Zildrog or cybernetic hands won't be able to be reversed, it would only apply to the base model. It would only call upon the model of the glove being used in whichever hand. Something akin to: https://i.imgur.com/lbpLogr.png
  5. Instead of people asking for XY alien species to be added, perhaps we could instead get "costumes" of said species. Wookie mask, gloves, shirt, pants, boots. Trandoshan mask, gloves, boots. Kaleesh masks and gloves. Kel Dor masks and glove. Et cetera. This way, those that want to play as non-humanoid race can do so (even if it gets undone in cutscenes that remove headgear, but that happens to "droids," Troopers, and Mandos anyways) without adding to a workload and facial flexes to coincide with facial flex restrictions. It may work better for races that don't have many "moving parts" to their face, such as Wookie, Kel Dor, Benthic, Ongree, Sullust, or other NPCs that really only have "mouth open/close" or "mask moves" animations.
  6. Still wouldn't hurt to get looping emotes based on class recoveries. Meditate on your knees, focus inwardly, pace, clear your weapons, etc.
  7. I kinda briefly understand why things like recoveries (Kolto Tank, Meditation chamber, etc.) have the 15sec use before it ends. Or why the "looping" toys (glowing eyes, dueling banner) last only a few minutes at most. I think it'd be nice if alternate recoveries loop indefinitely outside of PVP like looping emotes. It'd give some extra incentive to purchase one of those, versus sticking with the bog-standard class recovery animations. There have been times I just want to goof off in between things on my Guild Flagship, light a bonfire and cook marshmallows over a campfire... but can't do it for longer than fifteen seconds at a time... I understand the need for the activation limits such as that. But if everything "fun" is restricted for PVP balance, perhaps the flag for PVP zones can be applied to more than just changing equipment.
  8. I agree on one hand, as it would be a nice reward for keeping oneself "pure." However, on the other, the Dark corruption is meant to be an indication of how wrong and how much of a bad person you are. It's meant to dissuade people from making morally dark choices. Or some guff like that, fat lot of good it does when you can just disable it entirely... I think if they were to add a Light effect of a similar nature, it would have to be something small and unobtrusive, a bit like DS corruption. Having half the classes glowing might be a bit distracting or game-breaking in PVP (since that's an excuse people like to throw around.) Perhaps they can have a unique facial flex/mood, or a unique eye color.to reflect their good deeds and impassiveness.
  9. That's how Kubaz speak. The "Imperial Spy" we see in A New Hope speaks the same way, only shortened. The Kubaz we see in Mando Ep.1 does the same. KOTOR (and by extension SWTOR) have a thing where alien speech is lengthened so you have time to read the subtitles. So what may be a short sound in an alien speech is lengthened for "translation" purposes. That being said, I do agree with the statement that muting companions' combat dialogue would be nice. Shae Viszla seems to only use one line each when starting combat, targeting an enemy, and ending combat... And I can't unhear Altuur sounding like a Pit Droid.
  10. I approve of this. It can also remove one of the big decriers as to why Kel Dor fans can't play as them. Perhaps if we have a modulation slot, Kel Dor can have a unique one usable only by them. Otherwise, I still would approve because there are some items I really want to use, but hate the modulator of...
  11. Soft bumping to say I'd like to see this too. We need more "droid" part armour sets. If not for the player characters, for the companions. And for those of us who want to play Darth Maul, but are bored of the 212/614 Cybernetic legs.
  12. I recently purchased the C8 Droid Companion because I wanted a different staff companion other than Hexid. And I thought having a "training droid" would be cool. However, the C8 droid is one of many droids available through the Cartel Market that doesn't have any sort of a customization option. Combining this with some requests I've seen for adding Skytrooper comps, would there be any chance we could get a handful of Skytrooper customizations for the bipedal droid companions? I understand there are really only three or four types of Skytrooper, while we have Droid companions that use pretty much every weapon type available. So perhaps the splash text could even read something like "This chassis appeared to have a faulty detonation to it. Perhaps you can install the processor of your favorite droid into it?"
  13. Yeah, I'm aware of the terminals. Their price with both CCs and credits on GTN However, once you leave a Stronghold, they fizzle out. And you can do nothing while wearing them. The costume idea is for those who want to play as XY race that doesn't fit BW's standards, but without the requirements that a whole new race calls for.
  14. I think they're suggesting the reward being granted after completing each main story and all expansions eight times over.
  15. There are some Trandoshan in EU that speak Basic pretty well, as opposed to Bossk's hissing and overenuncation of Ss. Heck, that one Trando scrapper in Clone Wars, and the new one in Bad Batch speak Basic fluently without hissing. So now we have precedense for those. Only issue I can see is people complaining about their hands (and feet in Trando's case) which won't work with feet and hands. Let alone helmets. I still don't agree with the "They must be kissable" restriction... but it's whatever I guess. Too difficult to add a flag to just turn the camera slightly (or even fade to black momentarily) during snogging with those races, I guess.
  16. I agree. They can make it so that there's a unique voice filter by default, like an invisible helmet equipped (or just go the Jaden Korr route; there's precedence for Kel Dor not having vocaded voices.) And equipping helmets/masks that change voices can still affect the player's voice, without altering their face. As for the "tHeRe aRe No CaNoN fEmAlEs," there are almost no canon males. All we have are Plo Koon, and that one from Resistance. However, there is a female Dorrin in EU: Plo Koon's niece, Sha. Kel Dor can also customize their masks, goggles, patterns on it... they can have different chitinous growths, faces can be more square, sharper, rounder... they come in oranges, reds, yellows... There is plenty of precedence where Kel Dor would be a good fit, I just think there are too many detractors for the devs to try and add them.
  17. I understand the whole "This is to shakeup your current playstyle! Try something new!" that the devs instilled. But yeah, there's a reason I stick to Flashpoints and Heroics. I don't like playing against other people. I suffer through Warzones and Starfighters only for the GS points. I would very much appreciate if we get a toggle in the next season to disable PVP content, much like we can change PVP/PVE focused Instances on the world map. We already have a restriction in place when it comes to Operation/Flashpoint challenges. If you're a Sub, you can get a Weekly to do one Operation. F2P/Pref get challenges to do 3 Flashpoints.
  18. I half agree. The ability to wield and use another class of weapon would play havoc with the "balance" of the game. And all the abilities would be nuts to balance on hotbars, akin to the Unarmed attacks. However, I think that being able to merely hold a weapon and use one to three basic attacks would be an ample substitute. That way it's detrimental to use a weapon outside of your skillset, but you can still do so for whatever reason. Like using a lightsaber as an Assassin/Shadow.
  19. I keep seeing people vying for [insert Alien Race Here] being added to the game, that people say won't happen because facial reasons, romance animations, not lore friendly, etc. I don't know if it's ever been brought up before, but I think a Halloween-like costume would be a nice in between. Add masks, gloves, and boots so people can "play as" races like Mon Calamari, Ongree, Voss, Kel Dor (those can add one of the many helmet filters) or what have you. The game can remove the pieces as needed, and it doesn't require adding a whole new race. I'd personally be happy to shell out some CCs for a couple race masks+gloves, such as Trando or Kel Dor. Those that are more into the RP side can get the "exotic" races, and the people more into the play side don't have to worry about more races being added to collect, or whatever.
