  1. When I started the grind for item rating 322, I found I already was able to get to item rating 320 just by going through all the content. That drastically changed when I tried to grind for 322, because using my pacing of completing CZ-198 dailies and Heroics made the grind to 322 HELL. It took 2 days worth and two characters worth to get my sniper to level 322 and I just finished this morning because I was able to unlock the Legendary Items and equip some 326 ear pieces in there. I was several heroics away from burning myself out for the week. There was no smooth transfer between 320 and 322 for me, as the transition felt more a punch in the gut that landed 6 times harder than the last one instead of a steadily increasing amount. I predict the higher tiers to land 10 times harder with each rating of item rating gained. Considering how the amount of resources to get higher and higher gear levels for conquest scales relative to it, 60 Aquatic Resources is way too much to get a piece of 322 gear. Not the whole armor set, a piece. Without modifying it accordingly, it will take many weeks let alone months to get 3 of my toons maxed out to what item rating Conquest allows at my pace. That's not even touching Operations yet; an entire challenge in it of itself getting enough people motivated to do it. Either boost the output of Aquatic Resources gained by these missions, or decrease the cost of 322 conquest gear by say 40 Aquatic Resources per piece and increase at the same rate from there. In a nutshell there is a very stark contrast between getting item rating 320 and 322, as 320 was easy to get just by completing story content whilst 322 took grinds of weekly Heroics, CZ-198 weeklies, and other methods of getting there, of which those methods I will probably not focus on. Since these weeklies give 25 Aquatic Resources, 60 Aquatic Resources for a single piece out of 13 other pieces is pushing it for my solo-heavy pace, which shouldn't happen with the ideology of "Playing at your own pace" presented with 7.0.
  2. So this problem isn't exactly about whether or not the sniper rifle shows up correctly during a Smuggler scene, but about something that affects the new mission given after you decide your second combat style as a force user. So the mission {A Change in the Force} is given as an option under the Combat Styles tab in the Character screen, displaying whether or not your toon wants to swap their interests to the light or dark side, depending on what the second combat style is. When I was unable to play the conversation and threw me into the map, I thought it was still a WIP and I wasn't supposed to be there, but after talking about it in chat, I was wrong. A bunch of testing and character copying later with the person that was able to play the conversation trying to do their best to aid me, and I came to the conclusion out the mission is bugged. For reference I was a Neutral Consular with the Shadow discipline as my primary from the live server and the secondary combat style of the Sorcerer--which I will be denoting for easier reference a Shadow Sorcerer, with the order of these disciplines respective to the primary and secondary combat styles--when this issue first occurred. I tried again with a Light V Jedi Knight and started the mission as a Guardian Marauder. I was given the same results. One final attempt with a Dark V Sith Inquisitor and started the mission as an Assassin Juggernaut...It still failed to render. The person that was able to get the conversation for {A Change in the Force} was a Light V Sage Guardian. TL;DR - {A Change in the Force} is bugged and won't work for different legacies, no matter what parameters I try to get it to work.
  3. For some weird reason after the first boss the same three droids when traveling keep spawning at the trigger point. Might wanna look into this. There's also a bug with the second boss where if you move too close enough to the boss (i.e. run into it) the boss will reset and the whole fight needs to be restarted, sorta like the Cortanni(?) fight with pets and placeable vendors. I'm not sure what was supposed to happen when the third boss moves all around the place but we fortunately encountered no other bugs from him. Even if that wasn't a mistake, the boss fight made no sense. The stone path segment was very fast-paced and required a lot of clicking. The experience wasn't terrible but rather a bit annoying considering how many grapple points there are and the "Gods" mechanic with the constant air strikes. I'm still baffled how the platforms didn't manage to fall apart considering how many of those were thrown out in our fast-pace run. Our group all encountered a bug where completing the new FP didn't count towards the Veteran FP Weekly, a notable bug that needs to be addressed. Even with all of these bugs removed, I still have strong feelings toward the new Elom FP and I was able to find a quote that summarizes my entire experience there: ARGH! IT WAS WEAK!!
  4. As someone whose profit partly comes from selling Solid Resource Matrix on the GTN, this change does not put a dent in my profit. Unless you're planning on selling this for 1000 a pop, this change does the exact opposite for those who are currently sitting on thousands of Jawa Junk, like me. So really I'm just going to pick up where I left off, sell all the Jawa Junk I have for SRM and sell those on the GTN and make a profit. And I'm just gonna deconstruct even more to get more Jawa Junk to buy more SRM to sell on the GTN and maintain my profit, perhaps even increase it. Even if it was 1000, heck even 9000 a pop, it doesn't matter since I can always regenerate that from deconstructing all of the endgame gear, world drops, and the legendary gear I don't want (if that will even be the case, which won't change too much regardless). Heck, even the login dailies will help me get there! Even if there was a system to prevent this/limit the amount of Jawa Junk given, I make around an average 6-10 million by selling some SRM I get from two guilds weekly, so all you're gonna remove is 10 million credits worth of profit out of my pocket: Nothing compared to the tens of Hypercrates being sold at 2 billion+ right now. So really your entire argument of "Addressing Credit creation issues in the economy" (if that was even the case in the first place) is now gone because I found a loophole in the system So really this virtual dilemma of credit creation if you somehow still consider this claim as valid anymore is now even worse than before because, according to your logic, I'm technically contributing to credit inflation by selling more SRM on the GTN. You can't ban me because I got all that Jawa Junk fairly through deconstruction and through the login dailies; combine this with the fact that I along with many others are too dumb enough to understand the game's code well enough to hack in some extra credits, Junk, or Cartel items. And now the credit inflation problem is even harder to manage because more trustworthy people are utilizing what they have at their disposal to make as much of a profit as possible, because everything is being sold at outrageous and near-insurmountable prices. What are you gonna do, ban them because they were making the most out of what rules & boundaries you gave them? Checkmate, Bioware.
  5. Does the current combat rotation make this experience fell like you are playing a Mercenary? Why or why not? When I think of the term "mercenary" I think of a hunter with a lot of toys at his disposal, making good use of them to bombard their enemies and become a force to be reckoned with. There are many instances where I need to Unload everything whilst dodging bad stuff like in operations and flashpoints and it disconnects me from my character when they don't have the ability to Unload while moving at all times, so Thrill of the Hunt needs to be a passive so that I can assure myself my hunter is a professional. As someone who mains an AS Commando/IO Merc, combining Thermal Sensor Override and Vent Heat is a very good idea with the caveat of having to time that combined ability correctly. I am a little bit upset over this, as I pop TSO before I use Power Surge+Fusion Missile Combo and Vent Heat immediately after Jet Boost. Without the extra 2 stacks of Supercharge and knowing the fact that Concentrated Fire will become obsolete, my current rotation feels very nerfed, with satisfaction of virtually keeping Supercharged Gas up all the time disappearing. In this specific case I despise this trade-off mentality of giving something and taking something back in return. This gives me the false notion of getting nothing as finding out what I'm gonna lose is going to garner more attention than what I'm going to get ever could. Heck I was in for combat styles to learn all of the abilities for all the different advanced classes, and knowing that these classes were nerf substantially makes me feel left out for what could've been.
