  1. A - jump. X, Y, B + variants LT, RT, LR, RB. 4x3 = 12. There may be a little more (e.g .3-4 passives without activation), but not much. ~15
  2. I do not understand why some people are saying that huge abilities loss is temporary? Its obvious that they list all the abilities which we will have, around ~12 to bind them to A - jump. X, Y, B + variants LT, RT, LR, RB. 4x3 = 12. There may be a little more (e.g .3-4 passives without activation), but not much. So prepare yourself to have not 25-30, but ~15 abilities. I bet all other classes will get the same pruning.
  3. And its really pity because they actually may avoid so much pruning, for examle make voting for players to chose 5-6 most important abilities, some make work passive way in some interesting conditions, make abilities which needs cast time to work only when player is not moving, and the same abilities work in different way while moving. Tha same for "jumping abilities", bind something to jump + .... Create for console pre-set 2-line bar with such combinations and it will be intuitive and innovative, players will go here just to see how it works that way.
  4. That would be fair if they just said "Guys, we must left only ~10 active abilities, other should become passive, let us vote and decide which". But.. The worse thing is that there is no need of abilities pruning. A lot of console fightings has so many special moves, its just the way you use them. There no need to bind everithing to direct buttons or some trafitionally combinations, there may be used jump + some btn, or different abilities usage when player is moving or stay still.
  5. Its really seems like they want to adjust swtor to steam deck which has so many pre orders for now. They are planning to release patch before Christmas as Steam Deck and get additional money from new players. Such discussions shows players attitude to this changes from very start. We may yell as much as we can, but money rules. I think this decision was dictated to dev team from above.
  6. I have been playing not so long and came from steam, but still its so pity to see such changes. I lost my motivation to play further, really. I just have mastered my character a little, but now as I can see we are going to lose 30% of abilities. Really you are going the easiest way, not to invent bunch of new abilities to make players chose from them (in this case players going really to say cool), but mostly to divide what we have now. You see, its not so important how we name this discipline or what, eventually player end up with lower ammount of skills and without motivation to play. Disgusting. Want more uniqueness? Add new classes and storylines.
