  1. Hey Jaydip, I think I have an issue similar to yours? Basically, when I log into the launcher the PLAY button becomes available, right next to the patch 4.0 notes. Entering the game gives me the Shadow of Revan loading screen, trying to pick a server just forces a disconnect instantly...
  2. Look at any publisher seeking to monetize their products, trends have proven they will continue using heavy handed payment models and push consumers to the limit of their accepting boundaries. Look at the industry anywhere from now to half a decade ago.
  3. The idea of Free to Play games is to siphon more money from consumers, not less. In most cases, bragging about not having to spend over a hundred of dollars a year means you are playing below everyone who is.
  4. "I'm listening, continue." "Care to explain that?" Especially when speaking with aliens, it just screams "We are shoehorned quests with no VO."

    *** pvp bags?

The bags are a great system. Yes, you can have bad streaks of luck (In fact, I would suggest a design where you will obtain a random item after opening 5 bags without anything inside) but otherwise I am very fond of it. I don't have to go and say "Ok, if I grind exactly 20 hours I will be able to obtain 1 item"...TOR's system always teases you with the chance to win something. It's a random element that doesn't put you on that treadmill where you know you will only obtain your item after the exact amount of playtime, no more no less.
  6. It's a question of priority, not visibility. Do we fix this game breaking bug? Or that clipping issue? And before you say "they shouldn't have made the bug in the first place" you should understand that this is a very large team...If someone designs a quest with a specific animation, and then one of the animators polishes up the animation it might not fit with the scene anymore, so that bug free quest gets broken by someone who has nothing to do with the quest's construction. At the end of the day, there are thousands of bugs to fix and never enough time to fix them, that's why this industry is littered with overtime problems.
  7. You can't separate maintenance because everyone is running the same client so to speak. North-Americans can play on European servers just as Europeans can play on North-American servers. You can't have characters jump between 1.01 and 1.00 servers unless you want to have problems. I remember people moaning about wanting to be able to play on world wide located servers, it seems Bioware can never win. Also, maintenance times are usually chosen based on population counts, at the end of the day Bioware had to choose between American peak times and European peak times, the sad truth is one has more people playing than the other.
