No MMORPG has raised the price of their subs, so this is a really, really ridiculous idea. You have no clue what you are talking about.

For some reason unknown to use mere mortals, bioware is literally trying to shut this game down. I guess they are going to try to funnel all the players into a new game they have on the horizon. Bad news, when you screw over your customers, they don't come back.

THIS ^^^^ I LOVED this game. I have played every MMO that ever came out and this is the only one that I truly wanted to play forever. But since I have been playing MMO's literally since 1997 I can tell you flat out that this game is OVER. You are witnessing the sunset of a once great game. Unless they pull a Square Enix, and openly admit this expansion was a complete mistake, and reset back to 6.0, this game will shutdown. If you are still enjoying it I am VERY glad you are but WHATEVER you do, DO NOT spend another penny on this game because your investment will be for nothing. ^^^^ THIS is EXACTLY what is happening. My guild was huge and has all but dissolved. I am SO sickened by this "expansion" that it is has taken away all my will to want to even try to play this game. Newsflash EA, I WILL NOT be playing any more of your games and I certainly will not be playing another star wars game that you develop.

At this point I'm thinking of doing a charge back for fraud.

This is EXACTLY what happened to Star Wars Galaxies right before it shut down. I am not stupid enough to believe that EA does not have a long term financial plan, but that plan entails killing this game off to herd players into a new game.

I have loved this game since I started in 2020 but I will not be playing the expansion. The gearing system was PERFECT in 6.0 The gearing system in 7.0 has made me lose all interest in this game, which makes me sad, because I quit World or Warcrap after 15 years (played it since day one) to come to this game SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE gearing alts was such a FUN, easy task from 2020 until 7.0. It makes me sad that Bioware is following the lead of WoW which has been massively losing subscribers. WHY would you copy a game that is on the decline I will never be able to figure out. Oh well, so long all. It was fun while it lasted.
