  1. You're late to the party guy. read the whole thread
  2. I'm a solo player. I've been playing the game, making characters deleting them and recreating them. mostly trying to figure out what combat style works for me. It took me months to learn of the of the toggle ignore. In that time and experience. Guilds who blind/ninja/snipe invite only show that they do not care about the quality of the player. they only care about numbers. I even genuinely asked a guild owner about it, because they were bragging about gaining 250 members on the daily like they were earning money off of them. When I asked "Is every one just a number to you?" he didn't even answer. He just got defensive cursed me out blocked me and kicked me from the guild. It doesn't stop there. I read numerous stories in the Gen chat from former guild officers sharing their horror stories of Guilds blind inviting. Expected to meet a quota, taxing all members resources. Guild owners villainizing any one who stands up to it even go as far as to rob the whole guild bank blind, once they have too many members retaliating to their antics. Along with that. Majority of character's I create get a blind invite before I can even get to the opening cutscene. And when I do have the toggle ignore invite on. I am instead getting spammed whispers from the very guild recruiters who do the blind invite in the first place. Begging me to toggle it off so they give me the invite again. These are behaviors that lead me to believe it is the first sign a guild is toxic. IT all leaves me to think about "what if this was a new player to the game?" My first thought was maybe there should be a min lvl cap. But after the feed back. Other suggestion sound way better than mine. So I'm no longer stuck on the said lvl cap any more. But I do believe there need to be deterrent for the unneeded stress of shady guilds like this. So I am not part of any guild. I care about player rights. I want to play the game in peace. Maybe some day I will join a guild. But if I do. I want to know that I'm valued part of their team, not a number. The blind invites are getting old and very disrespectful, as well as rude. change my mind. you want to know the motivation behind this post. Well there it is.
  3. You're not paying attention to the conversation. Even you made valid points why the lvl cap should not be so. Instead it seems the consensus is leaning more towards defaulting the ignore invite instead. people are presenting valid point why this would work much better.
  4. You make good points. But are coming to the conversation with no solutions other wise. 🤷‍♂️ See this is a valid point and strongly agree with it. It deters the spam invites while forcing the guilds to show that actually care about their new members for a change. The only draw back I see to this, is new players getting bombarded with whispers from guild recruiters begging for the player to toggle their ignore guild invites off. But of course ignore player is there for a reason. But still... can live with a that as a better alternative.
  5. again rendering all of your statements invalid. But I get your need to feel important. I'm asking for a better system to deter the spam invites. Some guilds try to snipe invites before the player can even figure out the toggle ignore option. and I had to google how to quit a guild. Player's shouldn't have to go to an outside source of information for something that you make it sound simple to execute.
  6. cool down maybe a big factor. like make the cool down as long as rocket booster, if not longer.
  7. I agree with all of these but only one more thing I would tag on. Player comes out of stealth with no bonuses if they initiate the fight with NPC's
  8. It's the first sign that a guild is toxic in my opinion You haven't been reading the other replies in this thread. Dealing with those sniper invites where they will invite fresh players to the guild before they can even toggle that off. And some don't even know about that toggle option. Even then that doesn't stop the spamming recruiters where they will whisper the player begging them to switch off the toggle to so they can send it again. basically invalidating your statement.
  9. I feel the devs set themselves up for this demand since the expansions release. If we're all being honest here.
  10. Both of these are much better ideas. in all honesty why not have both implicated?
  11. Yes thats all I was getting at. It's just creating an extra step. Ex: Click to decloak, then attack. as apposed to Ex: Click to attack, immediately decloak Would we really have to click to dismount before we are even allowed to click to attack? No we're hopping off the mount to attack. Hope I am making sense here.
  12. see the thing there is I can speed run to lvl 10 in less than an hour. So if it's really important for said player they can make that happen. I'm talking about when one is a new player. they just loaded into the server and haven't even had their cutscene started and then boom! a new pop up comes up. "YOU ARE BEING INVITED TO TOXIC GUILD" player has no idea what that is about. not given the chance to learn about the game or it's social etiquette. Sure some can select the "no" option. But those who don't know anything about the game or what's it about gets sucked into something before they even know what it is. It's even more toxic of a guild when they don't care. they just care about bolstering their numbers. Like give a new guy some breathing room. And because this player is receiving this new kind of harassments and don't know about the toggle ignore mechanic. They just quit playing the game all together. This is no different than some one new attending a long time bar and EVERYONE is trying to buy them a drink in the most uncomfortable way. First impression are everything in a game and new coming players deserve the safe space away from the greedy guilds who don't care about you as a person. They just care about numbers.
  13. It's a good idea but I don't see the Dev's doing that. Besides it's easier to manage said sister guilds through discord really.
  14. I feel new Characters should not receive guild invites till they've reached at least lvl 10. For one the guild blind invites are ridiculous and overly spammy. New players have no idea what they are getting into. Blind invites from guilds are the first sign that the guild is toxic and there is a horrid habit of Guilds are trying to sniper invite new coming characters, before they even have a chance to toggle that ignore invite off. Also new players have no idea of the toggle ignore guild invites. In addition once a character reaches lvl 10 they should get a notification explaining what guilds are and provided the options to always ignore guild invites or leave themselves open to bombardment of invites from guilds. The guilds the do the spam invites don't care about your boundaries. And I've heard about the nightmares players go through dealing with those kind of guilds. it's shady and needs to stop. That said this the best idea I have to keep it all in good moderation.
  15. It's the statement in the combat Styles "When using this attack from stealth" do more damage is what would set them apart from Legacy Perk no need to complicate it.
  16. Also if they use any kind of animation for using a vibroblade or shoto saber. use the Jugg combat style animations. The Jedi Guardian makes me worried the way they run holding it. Like as if they are gonna trip and fall and cut themselves in half
  17. I have two in mind. One for Tech Combat Styles and the other for Force users Tech Combat Style - Exile Former Force user who had their connection to the force severed. They now rely on Tech and gear to compensate for their loss of force powers. Main weapon: Shoto saber and Vibroblades Offhand: Hold out Blaster (similar to the scoundrel shotgun) Force Combat Style - Grey Neither Light nor Dark. These Force user have found balance within themselves and learned that there is only the force. Main Weapon: Lightsaber Off hand: Shotosaber (similar to the operative's vibroblade) For the Exile I feel there needs to be a Vibroblade tech combat style. it would be a call back to the KOTOR II and how they talked about having connection the force severed. The Grey I spent time thinking how it would that set it self apart from the rest of the force user styles. And found myself thinking about Cal Kestis from Jedi Fallen order. His lightsaber and it style of combat. How he can detach the saber on the other end and throw it like boomerang. YES PLEASE! can we have that. plus giving the Grey access to both dark side and light side attacks would also be a bonus. Also make both ideas the first Tank, DMG and Healer for it's subclass. What do you guys think?
  18. I disagree. I feel the integrity of the other combat styles who benefit from making Stealth attacks would still stand on it's own. Just the other combat styles would not, nor never should get those bonus. It would be treated more of a quality of life improvement similar to the Jet Booster. There are just times I just want to get past the mobs and I would like to do so with out having switch to the selected Combat style that has the stealth. I mean Shadow/Assassin is already a stealth Tank. But I'm a Jugg main as a tank and I have had Assassin for secondary Combat style JUST for Stealth. and I feel it's redundant to have two tank combat styles when I can have one of them be some thing more useful like Sentential. I feel it's also disrespecting those combat styles and the player's who main them if all I am using that combat style for is to Stealth.
  19. Now here me out There needs to be a Legacy perk for a Stealth Field Generator. I understand there are certain Combat Styles that already have this and have damage benefits from starting the fight from stealth. Yes please keep that. However I am noticing with how Combat styles are set up. Certain subscribers; such as my self, Will take advantage of having a secondary combat style (Scoundrel, Operative, Assassin, & Shadow) just to stealth around the map and avoid combat. Mostly because they are trying to speed run through a planet they don't want to spend time in. So why not lean into this and allow all players have a way to access this. It would be no different than having the Rocket Booster. It would also open up other options for the subscriber to select a different combat style. This also makes sense for in game Lore wise as the previous KOTOR games gave access to Stealth Field Generator. Also why doesn't Sentential/Marauder have access to Force Cloak like they did in KOTOR II? I feel that's kind of shooting themselves in the foot for not including that. what does every one else think?
  20. I've been playing this game for a year now and been a solo player for just as long. I am now looking to Join an RP guild. What I am looking for: Role Playing elements for interaction. And it's games combat elements should speak for it's self. What kind of RP Guild: One that welcomes all walks of life character ideas. My main was a former Sith Lord with the rank of Darth. Then left the Sith order to pursue a Space Pirate Life. He now Captains a Stolen/Modified Imperial Dreadnaught Named the Savage Crossing and is on the run from the Sith Empire and tends to cause a lot of mischief and trouble the damn Imps. He tends to keep in the Hutts Territory most of the time. Rarely outside of the outer rim territory. What do I have to offer: Other than my character idea. Experience. I main Tank, with Damage as my side boo. And I am currently have a character made for each class story. I hold MMO experience across WoW, ESO, and Fallout 76. I also have leadership experience on discords, and I hold experience in making building and programing bots on discord. What Server: Honestly any. I can go and make a character made and lvled up within the week if I really wanted to. So is any guild has what I am looking for and what I have to offer?
