  1. You forgot how to properly structure a "crap sandwich" You are supposed to put the good news on top and bottom with all the crap in the middle. Anyways, my constructive/critical feedback: Daily and Weekly Mission Reset - Although I like and support the idea of rotating weekly missions that incentivizes play, the reset is absolutely not a welcome change for me. Some of the weekly missions take a lot of time and effort to complete and now we're going to be punished because of that? Economy Adjustments - I have no idea how changing Solid Resource matrix has anything to do with creation of credits in game. I have no idea how far you plan to go in terms of reducing the ability of bots to farm credits, but I have every suspicion that nothing effective is going to be implemented and credit farming/selling RMT will still continue to drive up inflation. The only thing changing SRM does is shift wealth and distribute it more evenly (which does cause inflation as we saw with the introduction of OEM and RPM for tech frags). Can we please do something more meaningful to introduce credit sinks on all transfers in the game while actually looking to cripple the ability of credit farmers to use automated scripts to sell 1b credits for $5? Shared tagging - This sounds great. Overall, I think it's a welcomed change. I can see how there could be some potential issues of players getting jealous that a random person comes and gets credit for a world boss kill just because they shot at it. I'm more concerned about bosses that have mechanics like ancient threat and nightmare pilgrim. Will it work like the current system where if people outside your group help, nothing really changes, or will that boss suddenly think "oh I now have x + y players attacking me, let's adjust how I do my mechanics." Combat Change Vanish - Why? Why do you hate the endgame community is how this makes me feel. It's a source of pride and enjoyment to be able to get good at a special trick like this. It's not like it's some easy trick to get infinite revives. Weapons in Outfitter - Yes, pretty much everyone is going to be happy about this one. Such a minor thing but very welcome.
  2. No, you have a chance to crit on the CM-1337 and get two and then you also have a chance to crit on the augment. By the time you craft multiple augments, you've had multiple crits, hence why the gold augs are typically selling at or below cost of the inputs.
  3. Just earn conquest on all your toons with them being in a guild and you'll easily pay to min/max them all within a few months. Also, a lot of guilds have players who are willing to make augments for guild members for cheaper.
  4. It was super annoying the time that steam made me re-download the entire game (even though my language settings were correct), but the overall launcher experience is SOOO much better. It's amazing when you forget it's patch day, but steam auto updated the game while you were doing other things on your computer.
  5. Great job guys! Really happy to see the proactive step to let players know they are respected and their time is important to you too. I hate to add critique as this is really a nice step you've taken, but I would like to point out that 1 day of sub time isn't really equivalent to the disruption some subscribers experienced. If you're part of a scheduled team/event that was cancelled due to the patching issue, it's not like it just got moved to the next day and happened anyways. I know this doesn't effect everyone, but for the odd person this might have been the one night a week they have some social group activity.
  6. Edit - nvm I figured it out, lol. Generic guides to play the game: Conquest guide - Intro to Operations guide - Detailed guide on how to set up and play the game - Beginner tanking primer - Advanced tips for tanking - Class guides: Concentration sentinel - Shadow tank - Gunnery commando - Guardian tank - Specific guides to bosses/operations: Nightmare Pilgrim world boss - or https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/comments/l91f3n/nightmare_pilgrim_world_boss_voss_strategies/
  7. Just looking for some people who want to make YouTube content together. Either if you would like to be in some videos (but don't want to make yourself) or if you also have a channel and want to do some combined videos for both channels.
  8. Thank you for taking the time to stumble in here and take a look at what I'm creating for everyone. My main source of content is http://youtube.com/draemn and I also have a lot of my progression raiding content (veteran mode) on http://www.twitch.tv/draemn as saved VOD. I've been enjoying the game for almost 2 years and have mainly raided as a tank class, with a backup crew of dps characters when I get a break from tanking. I've almost hit legendary on my account and have completed every raid on veteran mode except for valley of the machine gods (is that what it's called? I never seem to get it right) as well as some of the Mater Mode raids. My youtube channel has playlists of content ranging from class guides, tanking guides, new player guides, and "let's play" videos. I very much like to provide detailed, in depth explanations of everything I know so that it can help someone else!
  9. As someone who started to do a lot of uprisings back in the Fall after the rewards were increased, to a somewhat reasonable level, I feel like uprisings have been gutted and changed for the worse in this update. Too much health on enemies. Although this makes it harder to solo, it doesn't make it harder as a group just boring and not fun. It feels like a flashpoint now. Where has all the killing gone? Again, it just feels like a flashpoint now and I don't get that same satisfaction of feeling like a fast paced kill tons of enemies fight anymore. I like the slightly increased rewards, but the amount of extra time it takes to finish uprisings because of the extra health on everything makes the rewards pointless. You give us a tiny bit more, but you make them so much longer that the rewards aren't even worth it anymore. Flashpoints are a better choice because of the group finder bonus you get with the extra crates and tech frags... not to mention I see no additional tech frags added to uprisings, just conquest (which I do approve of) for killing enemies. There are a few uprisings where I do like some of the tweaks to the bosses and the extra difficulty that brings. I just really don't like the "give it more health and make it hit hard" mentality for "increased difficulty." Give me back my fast paced action and I can tango with uprisings for more than just hitting the weekly bonus for CQ. Edit: I would like to say that it's a bit of a hit or miss. Most of the Story Mode ones now suck to play and don't feel fun. The veteran ones are a mixed bag, some of them feel fun like an uprising and others don't. Master mode, I haven't played around with them a lot, but I'm not too worried about the changes there.
  10. New character sheet is a significant downgrade. Not only does it look like we went back in time 15 years in quality, but the amplifier panel needs to be collapsible.
  11. Please don't say that! with the last couple of changes to uprisings I actually do them quite a bit now and find them a fun alternative to flashpoitns, if anything they do need increase the rewards for uprisings as flashpoints are almost 2x as rewarding when you consider tech frag farming.
  12. Based on the current game state (not PTS): Yes - I like playing uprisings because they are a non stop killing fest that is a nice way to mix up flashpoints and I am at the point where I don't need any more gear, etc. That said, I find the current rewards for uprisings to need a small boost put them on par with flashpoints and if I needed the tech frags or was still working up to 306 gear, I would not play uprisings as a result. The amount of loot that drops in uprisings is reasonable for the effort required, but the reduced amount of tech frags and the complete absence of conquest points are a big downside compared to just running flashpoints. In summary: uprisings do need a bit of a reward boost as they don't provide as much gear, tech frags, and no conquest points for enemies killed. I'd be happy with just a boost to tech frag rewards & conquest points as the amount of gear you get is reasonable for the difficulty, just not time investment. As for which ones I play: Landing party - this is my favourite, love the tileset and it feels great. Lots to do as a tank or dps in this one. Firefrost - this one is pretty good but it can be frustrating to deal with all the knockbacks/stuns & explody droids & the two "bosses" in master mode. I like how it makes lots of "watch your step" but the way the adds spawn are a bit annoying (always spread out). Inferno - I like this one, feels fun and fast, difficulty is a tiny bit on the easy side, the first boss room gets very boring with his high health once all the waves of adds stop spawning Trench runner - This one is fast and kind of weird. I don't like it on the higher difficulties and I'm not 100% sure why. It can be a little hard for healers as you can't tank enough of the enemies, but on story mode it's too easy and really fast Fractured - if it wasn't for the stupid glitch on the last boss that you need to figure out (with the red force field) this would also be a great uprising and well balanced. The other part I don't like is when you jump down from the catwalks and click the console, the red force field beside it should come down so players don't get stuck behind it (can happen if they die) Done and Dusted - I have mixed thoughts on this one, it's fun and I like it, but the boss fights in the open area aren't that great. On master mode, the mine field is stupid and punishes melee way too much. The adds in this area just feel pointless and are frustrating until you figure out that you should just ignore most of them. Other than the mine field I really like this one but feels like it takes longer so should reward better than others. Trial and error - it's cute at first to become a rhakghoul, but then it's just the one I avoid. I really dislike the balance on this one and how do you get out of being a rhakghoul so you can loot?!!? This and divided we fall are the worst two with this one being the hardest by far. Crimson fang - This is fun, but it just feels way too long/slow so I don't play it often. More loot to compensate? Divided we fall - I don't like this one that much and it feels way too long and not as much fun, very all over the place. Destroyer of worlds - this one is a mixed bag... it's really neat how it's just endless waves of enemies to try and race to keep your droid alive, but it's also frustrating as hell and the droids keep pulling you around. The first boss is confusing as hell and the mechanics are boring once you figure them out. I almost never play this one, but I do enjoy the aspect of fighting endless waves with no break. Final boss is a snooze fest and you can easily get locked out as there is no visual queue for that. I think I've done all except trench runner and divided we fall on master mode. I've done all of them on veteran mode. Most of the uprisings feel extremely easy (as a player who regularly does challenging endgame content) and I wouldn't mind a bump up in the difficulty on master mode, but at the same time I like the fact that you feel like a god of destruction in uprisings and wouldn't want that to go away. Some of the bosses on Master Mode are really fun and take a few tries to figure out the mechanics. The bosses that come to mind that I like are in done and dusted (beast master and final boss), landing party (first and last boss), firefrost last boss (but the explody droids get a bit excessive), inferno last boss (and 2nd to last boss on Master mode), last boss of crimson fang.
  13. Made a report for 2 bugs I've noticed in the operation "the nature of progress" during the trandoshan squad fight Greus sometimes decides to become a god and gain extra powers to throw his "fireballs" as much as he wants without casting fire blast. You can see in the video footage here how he looks like he went down for Torpor but seconds later just starts throwing fireballs non stop. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/690153829?t=01h06m58s Kronissus (or ramp glitch?) makes you stuck in place by collision. I was standing somewhat close to the ramp in the room near where Greus starts and kronissus hit me with his cold conal. After that I was unable to move out of the spot I was in. I tried a blade blitz, guardian leap, walking, jumping, self cleanse, asked for a cleanse, couldn't leave the spot I was standing in no matter what, but I could run in place. I think I've had something similar happen while standing in a different area of the map, but not 100% sure.
