<Scions of Adas> is now open for recruitment! With a primary focus in RP, a love for PvP, and the acknowledgement that decorations and credits come from PvE, SoA strives to be a well rounded guild that offers a little bit of everything. With a Guild Yavin IV Stronghold, Flagship, the use of personal strongholds and planetary hot spots for additional locations, we hope to diversify the guild's active locations. Our RP focus will be on the reclamation of lost knowledge- ancient artifacts, fabled Holocrons, decrepit temples, and the like. Our events will vary between Roll 20 styled events (with the hopes of developing a Guild Homebrew set of stats for a more D&D style to major campaigns), Free form writing (because sometimes the luck of the dice isn't with us, and everyone should have a chance to feel like a boss), guild Flashpoints or Warzones, and more. If interested, look for Necroseus or Arkalius (Generally on in the evenings, and throughout the weekend) and throw us a whisper!

We're working on stuff and should be open by this weekend to start recruiting. I would say there will be less focus on Master/Apprentice than other guilds. Mostly because in personal experience, that ends up promoted limited interactions. That's not to say we won't have a Master/Apprentice system... but we're going to be attempting to put emphasis on group interactions, to try to promote interaction between everyone. As to watered down hipster Sith... That's a perspective call. The <Scions of Adas> will be very focused on the obtaining of ancient knowledge. If the name is any indication, it will be rife with Pureblood Sith dominated ideologies, by and large. My character is an ancient Kissai, and looks to drive things through the religious side of the Pureblood culture. The Co-Gm's character isn't a Pureblood, but is very much after ancient knowledges as well. The games that are Imperial Politics will not be a driving force, as I have things envisioned. That is not to say that we won't participate for the sake of possible inter-guild interactions, just as the Sith Tribes of Old would go to war with each other for dominance and Rule... But again, that won't be a driving factor in things. Also, we're not going to be Edge-town, where we swing epeens, and are emo rage babies. We are Sith. And my personal views for that aren't "You can only use the Dark side!" Because so many people lean on that. And that is a rule. Just as the Jedi have the rule of staying in the Light. To break our chains and know freedom, we must accept and use -all- knowledge we are able to obtain. Which should provide a more well-rounded potential, instead of one extreme or the other like I see in most situations.

So there is interest! I'll get things worked up, and hopefully be open to getting RP going and people going into a guild by the weekend!

Currently working on a write up for a potential guild. Based around the Religious side of the ancient Sith, worship of the Old Sith Gods, archaic Force Rituals, etc. RP focus, with a secondary PvP involvement (because rolling into WZ's as a group is a lot less painful than solo queues :X). Mild PvE content, to accommodate CXP and decorations/credit farming. Currently looking for a CO-GM to help work plans out/pre-plan guild campaigns. Looking for someone who enjoys PvP, as well as a fascination for the potential of the Ancient Sith religion.

This is my first serious foray into doing anything with a Pub (Aside from slaughtering them on my Sorc), so I'm severely lacking in my knowledge of Pub-side RP guilds. Looking for a home for my soon-to-be 70 Jedi Sage/Seer. Jedi focused would be preferable, but I'm not opposed to a more military focused theme. I usually enjoy Medium to Heavy RP, with a fair share of PvP. I've never been -super- into PvE, but there are tons of decorations that I want, so I'm not opposed to a bit of spotlight on PvE content as well.

I'm sure it's been brought up a thousand times before. But with an expac coming up once again, it's time for another rehash. Cross Server Queues. You have the potential of bringing in some activity with the expac. The trailer has people hooked. The free 60 has people willing to come on board since they don't have to grind a character. But they're going to run away when they queue up for something and have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for a Warzone, and an hour plus for a Flashpoint or op. It needs to happen. It would make everyone happy, and now is the perfect time to implement it.

Just ordered a new computer. And while I already know it will be able to play SWTOR, since my current one can, and this is better- I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of performance I can expect from this new rig. I currently have to have everything set to low to get a decent frame rate, and even then still have times where my frames just randomly dump.
