  1. If you put a deserter penalty in unranked warzones, I will unsub and never play this game again. I'm sure I'm not alone either. Give us a map filter instead. Queshball is a horrible map with bad design and full of desync, there's a reason most PvPers hate it.
  2. This has been a bug for years, I'd be flabbergasted if it was any company besides BioWare that made this game. A marauder (and juggernaut, if I recall correctly) can force choke a player who is currently CC'd and has a full resolve bar. That player proceeds to take the full duration of the choke. This is clearly not how resolve is suppose to work: once you hit white bar you should no longer be CCable (not counting slows). How is this still an issue!? Instead of making social UI bars everyone hates to sell CM junk, fix the long-time bugs plaguing your game. This is why your game is dying a slow, painful death, because you're conveying to us you don't care even an iota to fix QoL issues.

  4. We disagree on a lot of stuff (although not as much nowadays interestingly), but I'm with you on this one. If they make a new gear tier without being tied to content I'm going to unsub and go back to ESO.

  6. Yeah, but then vinn has the AoE you have to actually stand in too or he heals, definitely not confusing

    You seem to be thinking of reflect. ED stacks will heal from any damage, be it single-target, AoE, or already applied dots. Attacks will not consume ED stacks if they miss, however.
  8. Oh hey, I was the tank ON THE TEAM BEING FARMED described in this post. My exact words which have become my tagline were "7v3s are engaging content" then the bit about my 4s team leaving the game at the end of the match when a couple of them respectively challenged a 4v4, and got offended by the truth. I'm more of a deathmatcher, I enjoyed granked back in the day, but having your entire team deathball when the enemy team isn't is stupid. The DPS is bad, the fights are dull and UNeventful*, but at least they got their kills! If my team is in the process of doing said deathball, I'll walk off on my own to get fights. At least they're more likely to be entertaining.

I don't play op heals, so I can't really comment on tactician set changes to the spec, but people who can play Concealment near the skill ceiling like you, Aggin, Krispy, Shadow, et al. are a minority. For every concealment op I see that gives me a run for my money conc v. conc, I see 5 that I can 1v2 on arsenal without breaking a sweat. Operative has always been a technical class though, so this is more commentary rather than trying to say operative needs buffs. If all of the proposed changes go through though, I can't agree with you Prum that concealment will still be relevant to group fight meta. In solos? Sure, concealment will always have a place. But in 4s? There'll be no point to bring a concealment op over an AP PT.

    I'm all aboard the nerf AP PT train, although knowing Bioware they'll probably massacre it again. With lightning, deception, concealment, and lethality all getting nerfed in 6.1.1, some more substantially than others, what's going to be left to compete with AP that's getting minor buffs?
  11. Power to you in 1v1s or 2v2s then, but in a 4v4 or more putting out the dps needed against a competent isn't really going to happen. This is how ops were throughout 5.x, sure, with lower roll and cc count, so we all know how to play like this. With that being said, actually being a part of the meta is nice.
  12. Lightning should have higher burst potential than Arsenal, given how the DCDs are formatted. Merc's DCDs are more face-tanky than lightning, although lightning does gain its passive DR. With that being said they should have close limits, but Ling should win-out near the skill ceiling. IO should NOT be the highest parsing rdps spec for the same logic, in that it's DCDs can take more damage than a virulence sniper. I do think the buffs for Arsenal are a good small improvement, although I'm worried that Lightning is getting massacred at the same time.
  13. Having multiple slots we can put spec and utility combos in would be really nice. Would make swapping between pvp and pve, or even just fights in pve easier.
  14. I'm seeing very minimal differences here in TTK, which is good since a DoT spec shouldn't outpace its burst counterpart by much single target, when it can also dot spread. The fact Hop's IO parse is up here when he probably plays Arsenal more says a lot too. IO is fine.
