  1. I will say load times of planets have gone through the roof now.
  2. Honestly I am not sure what is going on. I am on Jedi Covenant which right now is listed as Very Heavy and I have no queue time. When I dump to the server screen I see no queue times on any server.
  3. I personally despise Alderaan. It is a silly planet full of silly people that should just be blown up now, not in the future. That and it can and usually does bring my graphics card to a slow grinding halt. It is the only planet I have to change graphics settings for. Stupid Alderaan. That and it seems to take forever!
  4. I have heard they are doing forced moves now which tells me it is getting close to being over. Also they locked the target servers so characters could not be moved to them. If they did force us to use cartel coins to move our toons then that is fine as well. As long as I can consolidate and move over my high level toons then I will be happy.
  5. Now that free transfers are over and they are getting close to being done with the forced moves, is there any word on if we will finally get paid transfers? I would really love to have all of my characters on one server finally.
  6. Actually at first I was worried about F2P. But now not so much. Yeah it's not the best situation in the world, but it could be worse honestly. I am going to stick with it as long as I get some more dang content.
  7. That is pretty durn impressive. Makes me hold out hope for the assassin I started recently.
  8. This would be awesome if it were like the epic weapon quests in EQ1. They were fun, a challenge to figure out at first and the weapons were epic as their name stated.
  9. All very interesting and 100% informative. The more I think about it the more I am leaning to Madness as I notice that I tend to have to move at least once per fight and sometimes more often than that like in D7's boss fight. And being able to move cast different spells is rather nice.
  10. And it's great to see a positive post. I as well agree 1.3 is a great version of the game. Let's hope it brings others back.
  11. Awesome thanks for the input. I think my biggest worry is the fact that I DPS and DoT my rotations in HM's and my force stays very even and therefore I worry that the rest of the group thinks I m slacking. I have to say I do love the Madness tree even if it means having to wait for Wrath to proc.
  12. Hi all, I am sure this has been asked before and answered. But at work I have little time to search and am just looking or some help here. Right now I am 50 and partially Columi geared. I am Madness specc'd and am not sure I am getting the most from my class. I am doing my rotations and my force just does not seem to drop, even if I have to spot heal someone quickly when in a not so great group. Heck I was the healer in a Corelia daily heroic and my force was fine 90% of the time. Back to my point. I feel that even though I am sticking to my rotations I am not doing all I could be. Would I be better off for end game HM's and Ops as a lightning spec? I do not plan to do PVP as when I can't find a group on my sorc I go level my SW for a bit. So what are your suggestions and why?
  13. I reported it and was urged to open a ticket with support@swtor.com Ended up getting an email back quickly asking for a bunch of logs which are easier to send out of game obviously. I crash a few times a night but only when zoning into a new area or via quick travel.
  14. So far I have played most of the way through Agent, Bounty Hunter and Inquisitor. My ranking is: 1) Inq 2) BH 3) IA I really liked all three stories, but if I had to rank them that is where they would go. I liked Inquisitor because it just seemed to fit in with the Star Wars Universe so well. Bounty Hunter was actually a lot of fun if you like the whole tracking down bounties thing. Agent was a lot of fun, and it was hard to make that one last, but it held the least appeal to me personally.
  15. Wow that brought back a lot of memories. I remember waiting days before seeing the camp check on AC go away.
  16. Still subbed, granted had to move servers a few times to feel like I was playing an MMO. But it gives me a chance to try out every storyline.
  17. Subbing to this. Will hit up Hoth and see if I can find anything tonight.
  18. I fully agree with this statement. All the combat log does is it turns players into number crunchers. Instead of actually figuring out the best way to raid, PvP or what gear works best for the situation, they just number crunch their way to the biggest number possible. Now I am not saying the combat log is a 100% horrible thing, but I do not need one to figure out how to play my class better.
  19. I am not trying to bust anyones nards or what have you here, but that was the problem with WoW for me. The story. I personally could not get into it. I felt like every time I went to go grab a quest it was just yes take quest go get stuff turn in, get xp's and lewt, go to next guy get next quest, rinse repeat. That is what I got used to doing for a fairly long time. So to add stories late in the game that might or were captivating meant nothing as I would just have overlooked it and said "Where be my xp's and lewt?!" At least with SWTOR I was given a story right off the bat and it set a precedent for the whole game. And the fact that some choices I made affected either my light side or dark side rating or how much my companion liked me it made them that much more fun. It also made for a lot more RP (role playing) in my opinion. Nice change to point, click, kill, xp, lewt, turn in.
  20. I fully agree with that comment right there. I think that other game has made things just horrible for anyone else trying to break into the MMO market. Then add into it all the games that had promise and had promised a great game just to get turned into FtP. Plus a lot of games run the fantasy / super hero gamut over and over to death. This game had some big shoes to fill as well seeing as it was NOT the first Star Wars MMO. A lot of people were bitter at the end of SWG. But the game is only 2 months old and getting better all the time. Except for the stupid environment NPC's who dialog is louder than hell and does not go away till it ends. That is my only complaint.
  21. The forums need to pander to my facebook tendencies and add like buttons on posts. Thanks OP for a great post and making a good point. Much appreciated.
  22. Anyone have a link for a datacron guide for Agents? Saw one for the the warriors and bounty hunters and would like a better idea of what to look out for. *edit: Wow somehow my browser did not refresh and I had no idea about the above post.
  23. I am starting to agree with this more and more which is sad. I used to be of the philosophy of oh well when it came to gear. But I saw this outside of a PUG. Just a group of friends playing everyone being considerate and rolling greed unless it was for their main. The one time I rolled Need on an implant and so did the warrior for their companion. The warrior won. I said something and they got crappy. Then out of "kindness" he passed on the rest of the gear for the flashpoint... Great none of it was Agent Op gear, it was all warrior gear.
