Legacy of Crafting - it doesn't help gathering missions does it?
UberRod replied to Stoofa's topic in General Discussion
The perk only upped the change of critting with an augment slot when crafting. It had nothing to do with gathering missions. -
OP, this has happened to me. Usually I have to log and log back in to get the running to stop. It sucks because you can't loot things if you are running. I thought it was because I remapped my keys because wasd is wack.

Player housing? You mean our ships? The thing every character gets? No real need for further housing. Maybe a better ability to customize your ship.

Binoculars - when do you get them?
UberRod replied to Darth_Sidewinder's topic in General Discussion
The OP also doesn't seem to understand that the macrobinoculars are not a sandbox "hey, let's look at the pretty scenery" anywhere kind of thing. These are a series of missions that take you to many planets where you search for specific items, at specific locations which then lead to more searching. I've not finished, but it looks like it is being set up to eventually find the bad guy and take him out. After finding all the "clues." -
Binoculars - when do you get them?
UberRod replied to Darth_Sidewinder's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, you need to be level 52 before the macrobinocular missions become available. -
But it sounds like you will not receive the bundle on all of your characters.

Your companion is not a paying member/actual human player. The other people on your team are. There are such things as common courtesy and playing nicely with others.

It's not that I'm having survive-ability issues as a tank. I guess I'm just lazy and miss the easy street life of as a tank in CoX. Although I would argue your point that tanks in CoX only held aggro because of punch-taunting. The tanks aggro fields did the bulk of the work. I've seen mobs run by me to get the blaster in the back, stop and then attack me all because of the aggro field my tank had. Never hit them with any attacks. And at higher levels, tanks could take out lots of mobs as their powersets actually had area effect attacks. But I am looking forward to the better aggro tools in 2.0.
-
Maybe it's just Guardians I have a problem with. My brother specced his Shadow to be our group's tank and does a much better job tanking then I ever did. And I'm fully black hole tank geared with over 25k hit points.
-
In my experience in leveling, I started with focus, but found I could to a lot more damage and things died a lot faster when I switched to combat. And on test, combat has some really cool stuff for 2.0.

OMG, Stone tanks, slow as molasses, but were pretty much unkillable. I can see your points. I don't necessarily want full blown City of Heroes tanks, but better cc resistance and better threat/aggro control. And ok, a little more resilience. Reduce the damage output if necessary.
-
I would be happy with being immune to cc (or at least resistant) and never losing threat.

Get all orange gear and keep it upgraded. Not hard to get all orange gear by level 21. Heck it can be done at 15. Even belts and wrist armor. This is one reason I have lots of alts who cover all the various crafting so I can outfit and keep everything upgraded.

I have both level 50 sentinel and guardian. No way any guardian will out dps a sentinel. Just not going to happen. No matter how much you ignore reality.
-
My first level 50 is Guardian tank. Maybe I'm spoiled from playing tanks in City of Heroes (may it rest in peace), but why should tanks be effected by stuns, knockbacks, etc. I can see in PVP, although it should be more limited, but PVE? No. Also you shouldn't have to have a healer breathing down your neck to survive. Lower the damage Guardians do if you want, but make them tougher. I'm not complaining that content is too hard. However it is the principle of things. And why is there any chance of losing aggro? Tanking was so much easier in City of Heroes. Don't know why tanks have to be so squishy. Ok, not squishy, let's say less tanky.
-
Hey give me your stuff.
-
Yeah, I'm guessing the OP should just go to Ebon Hawk. I don't think anyone's man enough for the other.
-
I had this issue with my last level 50 toon. I had skipped the Nar Shaddaa bonus material and wish I hadn't. I was kind of over leveled up to that point, but then fell behind. I had to do PVP and some space missions to get ahead a bit. So yeah, do all the missions and side missions, do the bonus stuff in each mission. And do all the bonus missions for each planet.

My hat off to people who play dedicated tanks
UberRod replied to LordSkyKnight's topic in General Discussion
To the OP... The problem is that Commandos are not the tanks. Vanguards are. Commando's are DPS or Healers. -
Appearance change for the cartel market
UberRod replied to DynamiCtagez's topic in General Discussion
City of Heroes made it easy to change your appearance and had the most robust appearance system ever made in any MMO. This was all handled by in-game currency or free tailor tokens. Name change was like $10. You could even come up with an outfit that was of a different gender in CoH if you wanted. Personally I'm more interested in the name change option, but would welcome an appearance change for at least one toon. -
This doesn't make sense when you can send money in the mail along with items. If you are sending stuff to an alt, there is no need to list it on the GTN. Unless you were sending to a character on the other faction that wasn't your alt, but it doesn't sound like you were talking about that. Unless as F2P you couldn't send stuff by mail. I'm a subscriber so don't know what F2P is stuck with.

Did you even get the +10 for all stats datacron?
