  1. No... I mentioned "cheaper"... Two different terms, two different meanings... If something is cheaper, that does not necessarily mean its better... You see, "cheaper" is matter of math and numbers... "better" is mostly matter of perspective, so if its "better" for me, that does not mean its also "better" for you...or for company, for that matter..... Try to read exactly how it's written.... I dont mind SWTOR sub if that is what you thinking, because if i would, then i would not pay sub... And really, for SWTOR is really to late to change monetization, they can only soften up restrictions on false F2P and preferred players, and that is exactly what they are doing...
  2. Where did i mentioned ESO, GW2 or compared SWTOR with them, or even mentioned "spending nothing" LoL...? Do you have problems with reading?
  3. How many $ did you spend from last expansion till today? I just wonder... LoL... From player point of view, it would be way cheaper to one time pay this game, and then pay for expansion again... But from company point of view, it is better for them to earn on little transactions every now and then, that in most cases gets underlooked by players...Because ts 15$ per month right? Who cares for 15$, but when you add all those little micro transactions from last exp till today, well its not so small sum of money... Its pure psychological manipulation....
  4. Its funy how you ignore fortnite, so far no one earn that amount of money, and its F2P...
  5. Lets be honest here... You lost your password, you lost your email, you dont have security key... Its no wonder that CS wont retrieve account, because by any means you cant prove its yours to begin with...
  6. And how that change the fact that mentioned games are not F2P, and both of those games falsely use F2P terminology?...
  7. Game can hard to be called F2P when that game have locked "end game" content behind sub... SWTOR is Free to Try at best....
  8. In game that has rotation based combat system, I cant fight because i get lag on every single ability activation... GJ Bioware, you just made SWTOR unplayable...
  9. OFC it didnt work, because it was fault from start and it still is... SWTOR still use old system of Pay to Play, it didnt work then, and it will not work now.... F2P would maybe work at the start to retain player base, but now there is nothing to retain... All of that have nothing to do with story, just with EA decision how to monetize SWTOR...
  10. Major problem for SWTOR back in the days was subscription politic... Not game itself... While Anthem itself is just one big pile of broken code...
  11. You won't be called "darth" becouse you are not one anymore... Whole sith line was ****** up by bioware, and after all that power you had, now you are just servant, as it is mentioned in some dialogues... You kiled Malgus, you kiled probably second most powerful sith emperor in whole SW universe, and now you are nothing... Really bad writing by Bioware...
  12. To much calculation per character, and to much data flow when all those calculations add up... But one who works on code should know that, unless third party devs working on code and Bioware only gives ideas what should be done, in that case, third party dev would not care what will happen when patch is delivered to Bioware...
  13. RIP Malgus.... Virus is spreading... LoL 378 on wait list...
  14. I thought I will have busy day, but it looks like after Ossus i will need to do only 2 dailies on Dantooine... LoL
  15. Its not speculation if its mentioned in blog... "Tactical items can have a broad range of impact on abilities. Some will increase damage, others may cause your abilities to affect more targets, or trigger additional effects, and so much more. Not only are Tactical items powerful, but their effects can be combined with set bonuses to achieve even greater customization" One item, multiple stats variations =RNG "While the Amplifier found on each modification is random, we want to ensure that players can work towards getting exactly what they want. Amplifiers can simply be rerolled from the item modification window for credits as many times as you’d like." So one stat boost on every mod you can put in shell, and its random... So RNG+ Credit sink "The game will now take into consideration your current Discipline and the average power level of your gear to make you more likely to receive items that both work for your playstyle and are around the power level of the items you have equipped." So more copys of same items to deconstruct... "The first vendor will allow you to spend currency to purchase a random version of a specific item slot" One item, multiple random stats variations = RNG+ Currency sink "The second vendor is a regularly reappearing vendor which sells very specific items. This vendor’s selection is not based on your Discipline or power level. Instead, they will have a rotating inventory each time they appear in-game" So here you can get specific item, but you need to wait for "lucky" rotation... So therefore Rotation RNG... What do you think what will happen when you have so many variables in stats and items, combined with low percentage drops on "RARE" items?... Its not speculation, it pure math...
  16. As far as Im concerned, this is same RNG loot stuff as it is in Anthem, and we all know how it did well for that game... You will get loot from bosses, but every single stat in that loot will be RNG (Anthem halo to you), so you will deconstruct 99% of items (oh again Anthem)...Then you will have two vendors to buy items with new currency that you just stacked from destroying trash, but first will be pure RNG, and second will be RNG in rotation.... And if Anthem is to look, NiM riders and Ranked PvPers will be very happy when they got tactical with useless stats after all that grind... All in all, same Anthem loot **** all over again, but this time in SWTOR...
  17. There is only one sith that i respect and her name is Kreia...
