  1. You can buy it from Crew Skill Vendors and if you have Salvaging as a Crew Skill there are missions for it also.
  2. When you say "blue items", what are you referring to? There is a dot to the right of each recipe/schematic that tells you what the difficulty is. I have only seen the dots colored orange, yellow, green, or grey. Are you sure you are making something that WOULD give you a skill up? If the dot is grey, it won't.
  3. I am still getting skill increases despite seeing that message on my Artifice.
  4. Just to clarify about the Slicing missions - it is possible to go through many missions where you only get credits amounting to less than it cost to go on the mission in the first place. Once in a while you will get a nice surprise in the form of a Mission Discovery or a Schematic but they are few and far between (unless you are doing missions that are grey to you). On the other hand, picking up slicing nodes while adventuring is PURE profit. If you are short on credits (like just starting out), don't bother with the missions.
  5. Well I understand people saying that all crafting is useless besides Biochem (and MAYBE Cybertech), I also can see where the original poster is coming from. He is willing to stick around and see how things shape up down the road. I don't think it's necessary to be so rude and insulting. You have one opinion and others have another opinion. That's all this boils down to.

    SWTOR stream!

Where can I find this alleged stream?
  7. Did you try relogging to see if it's gone after logging back in?
  8. Not saying I won't read his list, nor am I saying he doesn't have valid complaints. I am simply stating that he could have presented himself in a more respectful way and without the extremism he came across with.
  9. To the OP: You practically invite people to flame you because of the terminology you use in the title of your thread - "Bioware, You Want to Resuscitate This Game? Then Implement The Following" The game is barely 3 weeks old and you are claiming it needs resuscitating? I didn't even bother reading your list yet, I just wanted to point out that it IS POSSIBLE to provide constructive criticism without being inflammatory. Yes, some people might flame you anyway but not nearly as many as will flame your OP as written and titled.
  10. I haven't read through all the responses but I am sure someone told you that this is common even with the most popular MMORPGs' Forums. If someone isn't having a good time in the game, they will come here and complain to everyone about it. Most other people are happily playing the game. Don't let a few disgruntled gamers give you any doubts.
  11. Did you look at the Google doc from the first post? Did you really examine the results? Certain missions have a much higher chance of profitability than others. Also, there are lots of slicing nodes just laying around out in the world that are basically just free credits. Just because YOU haven't been profitable does not mean that is isn't possible.
  12. I meant learn a new recipe (schematic) from RE, like you do from RE greens and blues. I could have sworn I heard or read somewhere that you can learn orange recipes from RE purples... could have heard wrong I guess.
  13. Maybe it's just me, but I think that if we could fire off our attacks on the move we would be the most OP'd class in the game. We do a LOT of damage (Arsenal spec) but at the cost of having to stand still.
  14. For greens->blues and blues->purples, I say yes, enjoy the mystery and experimenting. But if you have RE'd a LOT of purples and have yet to see an orange schematic, it would be nice to know if it is even possible so you don't keep wasting time/mats.
  15. People will need to replace lower level mods with higher level ones. But at level 50, I see your point.
  16. I believe Nylasteel is an Underworld Metal, correct? You'll need to have Underworld Trading in order to get it.
  17. Take a look at this thread and the accompanying spreadsheet: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=72970 Yes, it is still relevant post-nerf. Slicing can still be profitable if you know what to look for. EDIT: oops had wrong link in there... it's fixed now.
  18. That might be a bug. Even though I am Arsenal spec, I use the Combat Support Cylinder because I like the functionality of it (being able to use it to heal allies and also the charging effect - helps keep heat to a minimum most of the time).
  19. Well I can see this being a problem at level 50, but you aren't going to keep using armor with level 21 mods when you are in your 40s. But even then, it gets costly to remove mods the higher you get. People may not bother removing old mods but just replace them with new ones.
  20. So your concern is that the boots are now bound to you, because you clearly meant to keep and use the enhancement, correct?
  21. I agree. Also, not sure what the situation is on the OP's server, but I sell earpieces on the AH (blue ones and up, green if I got an augment slot in them) and they sell just fine.
  22. No need to be insulting. I think it really depends on whether you mainly PvE or PvP. For PvE, I think "spamming tracer missle" is a good tactic since the debuff it applies can stack up to 5 times (with the Light 'Em Up trait trained in the skill tree, 3 missles is all you need). I can see where being arsenal spec in PvP would be problematic unless you are playing against really unobservant players.
  23. Is there a way to subscribe to this thread? EDIT: LOL nm after I changed a setting I see it subscribes automatically.
  24. I did several TH missions today on my husband's toon (for lockboxes only) and found that I more or less broke even when I just sold green items to the vendor and collected any credits involved (I was actually down around 250 credits when I stopped and I haven't put up anything for sale yet). I did end up with a couple of blue relics and a modable lightsaber too. Keep in mind the missions were all T1 and T2. As it stands right now, it seems pretty balanced. No need for nerfs at this point IMO.
