  1. I had a lvl 41 healing companion take on a lvl 50 gold elite. Yeah, the companion couldn't do any damamge, but they stayed at full health the entire time.
  2. And I was just about to beat the Imperial Agent storyline... Conspiracy!
  3. You calling my Scoundrel an insane moron!? Well, the problem with looking at things in a real world way, is that Smugglers aren't really living up to their name in-game, so why should they live up to the smart ones who stay in cover when fighting? Now to be serious... Yeah, it does make sense gameplay wise, but I'm still stuck in Kotor mode where we made up for our lack of armour with Scoundrels Luck. Wait, now that I think about it, of course Smugglers need to use cover, we don't have any room to carry a shield like almost everyone else.
  4. I don't mind cover (though I do find my Scoundrel more liberating than my Gunslinger), I just think it seems more like an ability Troopers should have, I'm not sure why. Probably because I see the Smuggler more as a "run and gun" type and a Trooper as an "in the trenches" type.
  5. I'd feel the same way, but since I find every class' lvl 50 gear looks terrible, I don't feel so bad about the Smuggler's gear.
  6. Flashy and the M-305 Rancor-X Enforcer/Tral-tech Needler and since I'm a Scoundrel, I find Flashy fits better for my character (the latter model has more of a Gunslinger look to me). I'm just not a fan of any of the other looks.
  7. Probably does have something to do with him being in Uncharted. I don't directly associate Nolan North with Uncharted (He's more Deadpool or Cyclops to me), so I'm not really disappointed he's not the Smuggler. Besides, I like Maury Sterling's performance as the Smuggler too much to wish it any other way.
  8. No, I'm too disappointed with Sentinels. Not because I don't think they're a worthwhile class or anything, but because they deviate too far from the established lore for my tastes. I might enjoy them more for all I know, but I can't get around the fact that they are no longer the middle-ground between Guardian and Consular like they are stated to be in pretty much every other source. I understand it's for game mechanics though. I'm not saying they're wrong in doing what they did and it doesn't irritate me or anything, I'm just a little disappointed that's all.
  9. I know it's an old thread, but I was particularly confused about the whole Endar Spire business myself as I'm on the quest right now, but I think when it all comes down to it, sure, the Endar Spire was obliterated in Kotor (we even see that there is nothing left of it after it's destroyed), but we are playing in a universe where the Gods have altered reality to where Greedo gets a shot in, Yoda transforms into cgi earlier than planned, Vader is no longer allowed to remain silent when saving Luke, not to mention the change of appearance of Anakin's force ghost, so it's really not a problem.
  10. Eh, thinking British actors are Americans trying to do a British accent isn't as bad as the guy who, on another board, complained about Rachel McAdams in Sherlock Holmes, who was playing an American character, by saying her British accent was terrible...
  11. Question is, how many choices in this game that lead to your Jedi doing the Kessel run with random npcs and getting darkside points doesn't involve taking advantage of someone emotionally compromised?
  12. I suppose the question I have is, if I would rather not use Doc and say, go with Kira, am I better off being a Defense Guardian over any of the other Guardian/Sentinel spec options? Edit: of course, I now see this is in the Sentinel forum (I search for threads through google), but I suppose it's still a viable question considering the thread.
  13. Anakin honestly couldn't make up his mind on his class. He was a Sentinel to begin with, except he thought he was too cool to use a second lightsaber and since he was only fighting trash mobs up until the chapter 2 boss, he was able to get through unscathed. Then when he got to his chapter 2 Boss, aka Dooku, he rushed in and was whooped by force lightning. Obi-Wan fought Dooku while Anakin was respawning, but he didn't have enough offense in his tank spec to deal with Dooku. Luckily for him, Anakin got back just in time before Dooku could get in the killing blow on Obi-Wan. While Obi-Wan was incapacitated, Anakin finally started using his second lightsaber, but it was quickly disabled. Only now able to use half of his abilities, he lost. After that, he decided to re-roll as a Guardian, but since he saw Obi-Wan had trouble, he specced vigilance instead. Eventually getting bored with the Republic side, he rerolled as a Sith, going with Juggernaut and speccing Vengeance. Yes, I'm obviously joking. TL;DR I have too much time on my hands
