  1. It is vastly different. I used to be able to get my weekly allotment of personal points weekly, regardless of whether I was in a guild or not. Now, I struggle to even reach the point-break. Sure, they reduced the total requirement, but that doesn't fix the main issue: This system sucks. I only care about the personal point objectives because they drive the machine of conquest. Guild scores are built on the personal objective point values. The personal objectives are what makes guild invasions and conquests possible. While the total final points objectives have been reduced, that doesn't cover up the fact that these tasks still have been nerfed by 50 to 95% of their previous values, with most being over 80% reduced. And in the old system, the top points ever required by a guild was 50,000 at most. So, no matter how you slice it, this new system has ruined conquest and made gameplay that much worse overall.
  2. Well, after they updated conquest again after the massive joke of an update they gave in changing conquest, I will now give an UPDATED impression of what I am seeing. I will break it down into sections for easier reading, going from what I consider the most important to least important. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section 1: Warzones. So, you added repeatable warzone participations. In the old system, we got 250 points per match completed. Then add the stronghold bonus of 150% max and you would get 625 per run. Then add the planetary bonus which would give up to 3x the base amount, adding an extra 500 on top of all the rest for a grand total of 1125 points per run. Now, let's look at what it is now... With all bonuses considered, we get exactly 213. 1125 down to 213... That's over 80% reduction. Is this a joke? Just horrible. How about wins... Wins used to give 500 points per win. Factor in the stronghold bonus and planetary bonus and that number would become up to 1750. What is it now? 825. That is over 50% reduction. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sction 2: Ranked Warzones: The Proving Grounds. In the old system, we got 3000 points once completed. Then add the stronghold bonus of 150% max and you would get 7500. Then add the planetary bonus which would give up to 2x the base amount, adding an extra 3000 on top of all the rest for a grand total of 10500 points. Now, let's look at what it is now... With all bonuses considered, we get exactly 1250. 10500 down to 1250... That's over 85% reduction. Is this a joke? Just horrible. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Secion 3: Flashpoints. So you added repeatable flashpoint runs. In the old system, we got 1000 points per FP completed. Then add the stronghold bonus of 150% max and you would get 2500 per run. Then add the planetary bonus which would give up to 3x the base amount, adding an extra 2000 on top of all the rest for a grand total of 4500 points per run. Now, let's look at what it is now... With all bonuses considered, we get exactly 325. 4500 down to 325... That's over 95% reduction... Is this a joke? Just horrible. That's some nerf ya got there bud. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section 4: Galactic Star Fight. So you added repeatable GSF runs. In the old system, we got 500 points per FP completed. Then add the stronghold bonus of 150% max and you would get 1250 per run. Then add the planetary bonus which would give up to 3x the base amount, adding an extra 1000 on top of all the rest for a grand total of 2250 points per run. Now, let's look at what it is now... With all bonuses considered, we get exactly 213. 2250 down to 213... That's over 90% reduction. Is this a joke? Just horrible. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sction 5: Crafting War Supplies. This is still a joke. The costs have not reverted back. Making any war supply except an invasion force grants exactly ZERO points. Seriously? So making a key item to conquest grants nothing? Really? That is total stupidity. Now for Invasion Forces. While you have vastly increased the return for crafting one, donating 10 of these now rewards just 513 conquest... Really? Do you even know how much these things cost? LMAO. This has to be a joke. If it isn't, then someone at Bioware obviously has less IQ than a plant. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section 6: Planetary Daily Missions. Oh, that's right, there is no daily planetary missions at all, yet again. Just some garbage weekly missions. What a waste. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section 7: Attacking The Republic/Empire. Oh, that's right, there is none of this either... LOL. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section 8: Planetary Rampage. Nope, nothing here either... LMAO. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So... These 8 things are the MEAT AND POTATOES of conquest and yet, here you can see, they are now more like a snack at best. At least 3 items are simply empty plates. No snack, no crumbs, nothing. This really is pathetic. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You really, really need to remove this sytem and put back the system that was working just fine and had only some slight issues when Crafting Weeks rolled around. Speak with you wallet. It's the only thing Bioware hears. SPEAK LOUDLY. Not subbing again until Conquest is working as good as before, or better.

  4. This. Bioware, like all greedy developers, produce garbage updates that don't involve real money, but for those micro-transactions, they are willing to pour massive resources into funding those. You bet. Cause this is the only important feature in the game for Bioware. The rest is just background junk they will eventually care about... Someday.

  7. Since I run by one-time payments, I don't really have an unsubscribe button, however, I have 52 days remains, at the end of which I will not be buying more time. They have that amount of time to revert back to the old system or make this system work exactly as good or better than the old system, which I doubt they will do. 52 days Bioware... It's a massively huge public shaming of their obviously trashy update, and contains hundreds of detailed posts that quite literally tear their system into itty bitty trash confetti. They don't want that post showing on the forums because of how massively it exposes the new system as a complete and total flop. That kind of negative publicity is extremely damaging to potential new customers, therefore, they must hide it to cover the enormity of the failure they've triggered.   9. Were you really all that shocked that they lied to us, yet again? I've come to the conclusion over the last 10 years that every company lies to their customers in order to garnish more of their customers money and then screw them over. Oh sure, they make all kinds of large-scale promises to change their ways and be more transparent, but in the end, this is always a lie and everytime people get conned with this line of crap, the company wins and is not compelled to actually follow through with actually changing their ways. The only way you will ever compell a company to change their behavior is to simply stop paying them. I have a subscription that is entirely based off one-time payments, and that time is nearly used up, at which point, I will not be buying further game time. I will also black-list the cartel market from my wallet as well. They will not get one more penny from me until they either bring the old system back or make this system function just like the old system with actual added benefits above and beyond the old system. Either way, the conquest system has to work as good or better than the old system before I will spend another cent on this game. It's really that simple. My wallet will do the talking here and you better be listening or it's your loss, big time. I have 52 days left of sub time as of this post. They have that amount of time to fix this crap or I'm done, down-graded to Preffered until that runs out, and then downgraded again to Free-To-Play.
  10. Well... This is going to be one long friggin post, guaranteed. I guess the the first thing I should do is tell you this... You obviously are NOT listening, but that's ok. We tried to get your attention nicely, but that didn't work, so now it's time to tear your post apart and point out the obvious failures directly. The credits/CXP is nice, but it's a disguise to hide how bad the system is. The personal rewards are the same as before, so they aren't special or good compared to before. The rewards for guild are barely worth the time invested to do the conquest. The vendor is nice, but hiding it till you complete conquest is kind of dumb. You took alot of the core functionality away and made the tasks stupid. It was perfectly fine before. Now, it's just broken and horrible. Crafting was the core of conquest. Changing it, and thereby making it totally the most expensive aspect of conquest has literally crippled players' ability to do conquest in an efficient and timely manner. So dumb, I can't even understand this change at all. The conquest yield was fine, and while I like the increases, the effort to get those rewards is so totally out of balance with the rewards themselves, they are not even close to worth trying for. The interface is goofy and over-thought... The old interface was just fine and people could easily read and use it, but now, they have to really, really read it, and even then, they probably won't understand it quickly or easily. Not perfect? Are you high? This system is so broken, you can't even use the word perfect in any context to describe this system. It literally is a disaster and a heap of trash. If you want to convince us you are listening, get rid of this whole system and go back to what we had that was working quite fine before you went and crapped on it and threw it in a trash can. If you leave participation points off conquest for WZ's/FP's/GSF's and only include them in some conquests, then you are still literally crippling the community and making conquest a total waste of time. Either add them in every single conquest or there will never be a point to doing conquest at all. Not everyone wants to be forced to do old content that already sucks in order to get points towards a conquest week that has crappy tasks and includes none of the things those players want to do. Forcing people to play your way will not make people want to play the game at all. It must be next week. Delaying more than that will simply prove the point that you really aren't listening. Either put it in immediately or don't bother. The longer you delay, the less anyone will care about conquest. Do you really want your community hating you for longer than a week? Do you like it when people think your team is retarded? Fix it before you really do cause your community to think that of your team, if they haven't already. The points values aren't the problem. The objectives that are literally stupid are the problem. It's becoming obvious you have no clue what is going on, so I'll give you a heads up... Your conquest objectives are stupid. Lowering the end-requirements to compliment stupid objectives is only putting a band-aid on a gapping wound. *shakes head in disbelief* If you leave this garbage in the game past this week, then it just shows you guys have absolutely no concept of what your community likes and does weekly. Monitor away... Noone is going to throw money down the drain doing the new crafting cause it is stupid. You took something that was perfectly fine and broke the hell out of it. For what? Who the hell knows? No plan to fix it until 5.9 or beyond? Wow... You guys really are dumb. By the time you fix it, noone will care or even bother to look at it again. Lol... What's to see? The rewards are garbage compared to the effort required to get them. It is simple as that... What more do you need to know? I can't believe you 'need to monitor the situation' to get a sense of how trashy the rewards are compared to the effort to get them. The interface is meh... Compared to the old one, it is actually a down-grade. It isn't intuitive, or readily easy to use or interpret. It looks shiney and new, but once you really, really look at it, it sucks. The old one was 100% better. This whole new system is entirely hateful to the idea of alts, just like Galactic Command when that first came out... You guys just can't help yourselves from ruining alt-running, can you? The old system was perfect for alt-ing, but this new system punishes you by totally cutting alts out entirely. Either put it back immediately, or forget ever having people play their alts. I cannot understand how you people continually attack game systems that are alt-friendly and make them the exact opposite to the point that having alts is virtually pointless. Overall, I highly doubt your words saying you are listening... This post proves that you actually aren't listening, but rather cherry-picking what you like out and scrapping the rest, just like you did when you trashed the old conquest system and put this major-league failure in its place. If you want to convince us that you are listening, then scrap this new system and bring back the old one. After that, you can spend as long as you like screwing around with your new system, but don't put it back into the game until it actually is BETTER than the old system. Right now, this new system is a piece of trash. Simple as that.
  11. I guess they are waiting till next week so they can say the following... Awwww. I'm sorry conquest is so fk'd up... Here, buy this new crate and gamble for a very low chance of actually getting something good and maybe, just maybe we will look into fixing conquest, but I wouldn't be too hopeful. Just buy the crate and keep pretending we are listening.
  12. It is working though. You ONLY get conquest ONCE per legacy per day, and ONLY for wins, not losses/games played. This is what they designed it to do.

If all guilds on a given planet invasion fail to achieve the minimum break-point of 460k, noone wins and noone gets any guild rewards. 1,380,000 for the middle tier, and 2,530,000 for the top tier. For all guilds on the leaderboard that fail the break-point, even though they get top ten, they still get nothing. Only those guilds that reach the break-point will get rewarded. At this point, yes, guilds will get the rewards, but some of the top ten won't, and that is totally dumb. They will score top ten but still get nothing. SAD. Bioware: Hey, you did good kids, and scored top ten! Players: Bioware: Oh, you failed to get the points-break. Players: Bioware: Here is your helping of.... NOTHING! Players: Bioware: Enjoy. Players: Players: Players: *clicks unsubscribe*
  14. Here is my first impression and reaction, itemized through all the changes I am seeing... 1. Tiered Rewards: Split into 3 allotments. At first glance, this seems nice, but then really looking at it, each level up is only 5 resource pieces extra each, and 1 extra deco box on the top level, this reward is literally a joke. It barely even touches the value of time invested to achieve the rewards. This tiered system looks good, but the reality is quite a different story. More below will dive into these words. 2. Itemized Objectives: These look nice, but when you really look at them, they are very specific things, and have all kinds of restrictions attached to them. Take Warzones, for example, you can only get the reward once per day per legacy, and only for wins... Is this a joke? Seriously... That is literally retarded. And what about flashpoints? Oh nope, nothing for doing those. The closest thing: a single specific flashpoint that only rewards an amazing 325 conquest. (i have 150% bonus). Really? Is this a joke? Oh, and then don't forget those uprisings... They used to be a quick like 5k conquest and a good 20k cxp in about 10 mins. Now? 325 conquest. ......... I just don't even know what to say here. And then we come to GSF. 213 conquest per win. ROFLMFAO. Really? Next up? Crafting, of course.... That used to be the single largest conquest point-gain per legacy you had. And the costs were just fine. Now? The cost is stupidly retarded, and the amount of materials required is at least 4x as much now, and the points gain is a paultry 513 conquest per war supply. Are you kidding me? Who the hell thought this was a good idea? At least the operations rewards are still good, but here again, we have a serious problem... People who pvp only are now forced to pve to do conquest. They don't want to do pve, otherwise they already would be doing so. Forcing players to play your way is not going to motivate them to play the game your way no matter how much you screw them over. 3. Planetary Guild Requirements: There is now a requirement to gain at least 1,380.000 total conquest for the middle tier conquest. Ok, this looks kind of scary to see, but I understand this makes it require more players to get their personal points. What happens for guilds that only have, let's say, 30 active folks total? Their guild gets shoved off the conquest table entirely cause they just can't muster the points between their people. 30x20k = 600k. So now they have to do double to get their reward, and even that isn't enough... lol. They have to do at least 45k each. Granted, alot of people will say this is a measley amount, but for some people, 45k is a hell of alot. Not everyone has the time to grind conquest all day and night everyday. Some cant even get playing one to two times a week. Their real lives conflict with playing the game. Before this change, those people could easily do enough conquest to help their guilds and still get their rewards, but now, they likely won't have enough time. I thought this system was supposed to give those smaller guilds a chance rather than burden them with over twice the effort for still a likely chance to not even place, much less even get the reward for their efforts. Is that a joke? Cause if it isn't, you people really need to re-do this system cause it sucks. 4. Command XP and Credits: This is refreshing. I love it, but due to other issues, it really doesn't inspire me to burn time on these things when I can do other stuff that is 2-10x more rewarding, and alot more interesting. Nice try. (As Rugher would say. Ravs Boss) 5. Enemy Commanders: What? There isn't any? Isn't this a core staple to conquest? Kill your enemies. So now there is no objective for this at all. Really? That used to be one of the very important conquest objectives that motivated people to do them for ship plans and get conquest at the same time... Now, it's just for ship plans. What was the point in even taking this objective away? Too many people were getting ships and having fun getting conquest and ship plans at the same time? Seriously? This baffles me entirely. 6. Heroic Missions: What? There are none? Except 2 weekly missions. What? Really? So doing planetary heroics is now completely pointless. You won't be rewarded for them at all now. What? Really? Is this a joke? Please tell me this is a joke. I beg you. 7. Interface: It's lovely, and easy to use. Wow, it really is nice, but looking nice is pointless if the core mechanics of the system are garbage. Sorry GUI Developers, you guys polished that turd really well, but it's still a turd. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall first impression and reaction. This system is a total flop. I like some of the aspects, but too much of it is really, really stupid. Bring back the old conquest and take this trash to the dump and start over. Please. I beg you.

  18. Well, time for me to sleep... What a total disgusting disappointment... Lost game time... Codes given out to a tiny group of super-fast internet users... A stronghold I can't own... A game that currently is bugged all the way to hell and back... People exploiting an obvious loophole that should never have exsisted in the first place... No compinsation of any kind for our lost time and utter frustration... And on top of that, total disgust at feeling like we are all being treated like animals being thrown a bone so we can fight to the death over while they watch on and have a good laugh at our expense... Total disgust is all I feel and that feeling might just be enough to make me quit and find a better game with better people running it. I may or may not be back tomorrow... I haven't decided yet.
  19. There had better be something, otherwise I really am going to rethink supporting this game further... First they add a stronghold we can't even use because of the conquest cap/stronghold cap, then they bug the holy living hell out of the game because they didn't do proper testing of the content before releasing it, then they add insult to injury by giving a very tiny group of super fast internet users free things right in front of the whole community, and then after all that... They refuse to make fair play to the rest of us that are literally being screwed right up the tail-pipe by not making those things available to everyone that is being horridly affected by their incompitant job... Talk about one giant steaming pile of....

I mean, I feel so angry right now that I would love to post the actual words I am feeling, however, I do not want to get banned for saying what I really think... All I can say is... I am utterly disgusted at this whole 5.4, 5.4a, and 5.4b rediculous mess.
  21. Yea... These were a gift to only the fastest people... Basically a slap in the face to the whole community and a boon for an extremely tiny select little group of like 20 people... Every time I see this post reposted, it just makes me even more annoyed at the disgusting feeling I am getting sitting here waiting for these game developers to fix the product I am paying hard-earned money for and not getting.
  22. What I want is to play the game... And after that, I want to get my lost time back that has been shedded by this huge clown-show. And after that, I want the game to be properly fixed so that it is fun again. And after that, I want my Umbara Stronghold without this stupid cap on the number of strongholds one can own... And after all that stuff, I want the stuff you just handed out to a few lucky people while the rest of us are left sitting here dumb-founded at the incredible slap in the face we all just got.
