A lot of mmo players don't consider solo content to be new content in an mmo. Solo content doesn't carry much attraction for an mmo player, it is used as a means of leveling to get to group content. the repeatability of solo content is nil. I can't even get myself to finish it once because i am already leveled up. Their mistake was to focus on solo content, that is why most people are unhappy. If you think about it group content is repeatable ad naseum. much of the group content is still being played after five years, although many have left due to lack of new group content. I dread the fact that many of my alts still have to be dragged through kotfe just to get rid of those alliance crates. I just can't bring myself to keep doing it.

Just curious, what metrics are you basing this assumption on. Personally i do think it is the subs that keep this game going, the steady reliable $13 a month from 100k people not the $100k spent on the CM.

Ok op did say that, however none of the fifteen armor pieces i tried to re gave a schematic and from reading other posts in this thread it seemed implied to me that most armormech items can't be re'd.

So since nothing seems to be RE'ing for armormech, i guess i should just use synth armor on my toons. Is that correct?

you have to get the 46 hilt from a crate dropped 230 lightsaber. you pull the hilt out and have a 100% RE chance

Ok logging out didn't work, but restarting did. very strange.

So why is there only five of each level ten armor pieces. Bracers and sashes are missing.

I didn't start playing this game for the story. I wanted an mmo the story is just for leveling in my opinion.

they aren't out yet. it takes some time to go through all the abilities and utilities to find optimum setups. give them some time, in the meantime the 4x are still not bad.

The question is do you want them to fix the game hanging first or the crystal conversion first. If you choose crystals you might not get to use them because the game keeps hanging.

Two points you missed on. 1 new players to any mmo know that they are going to be behind due to necessity to learn the complexities that all mmos have. it is that simple, i knew when i started playing right before DvL that i was going to have to figure out what was going on. 2. New player retention pales in comparison to dedicated player retention. Ability to retain new players is meaningless if you lose more long term proven subscribers.
