I do not have access to the mobile app, I cannot get to the mobile app, I did not write a code down because I was not aware that I HAD to write it down.My phone is smashed beyond repair and will not work. I cannot just uninstall and reinstall the app until I have a new phone which could be until next week if not longer Ergo, WinAuth will now not activate as I have no "code" to input. Therefore, the question is am I now screwed until I can get onto a phone and get it to spit out a code that I can enter? which you very artfully seem to be dodging/not actually answering. So, my phone was completely busted the other day and I will probably have to get a new one, I had to remove the Security Key from my account to even log on here to ask this question which I'm kinda bummed about D: firstly, can I re-add a Security Key again once my phone is either fixed or replaced or will it block me out of doing that now? Also, if I can, is there an EASY to install authenticator that I can install on my laptop as a backup in case something like this happens again? Because I tried to use WinAuth and it demands you enter a "secret code" in order to even activate the WinAuth software (which makes no sense..you need a code to enter in order to get a code? What the hell? D: Nothing anywhere gave me an activation code for the WinAuth software and I am so confused...) Please somebody help. I've been unable to play for a month due to a combination of internet connectivity issues and being unable to connect now due to not having access to the Security Key and not having an alternative, and even though it's removed now I would like to re-instate it as soon as I am able and I don't want this to happen again

O.o

Ughhh so it is, well I was remembering the max level as being 20 so level 16/17 used to be really good *sigh* (also checked and it's up to 20 now not that that makes much of a difference...) And I'm not talking about purple "grade" gear. The stupid things are literally "Grade 1" supplies, they don't have a coloured border or a high level last time I checked. The actual icon/image is a silly little purple thing. They are basic components that are required alongside the Cell fragment things to make EVERYTHING in the BioChem skill and because I have none I can't build anything I don't need Synthweaving supplies as I don't do synthweaving, the skill I'm using is BioChem and you can't have more than one crafting skill tbh at this point I'm considering giving up crafting completely because this is just stupidly complicated

So I'm looking for people who are in the same boat as me that would be interested in helping me mod/start my own Guild. It's my first time really dipping my toe in to try and set up a Guild so I don't really know how it works but I'd really like to give it a go and be able to start up a nice close knit and helpful community (heck if there's an already existing Guild that meets these requirements I guess shoot me the details as well though I do kinda want to take the plunge and start my own to get exactly what I'm after xD) What I'm hoping to find/establish: -Mainly PvE -Likes/wants to do group contents like Heroics, Flashpoints etc. but not super strict or fussed on "rankings" -As I'd like the focus to be on having fun in the game, enjoying the content and helping out new players rather than on being super serious about ranking -Helpful to newbies/new players, no "must be level x to join" etc. (I'm not really a newbie anymore but I like to try and be supportive and helpful to new players nonetheless ) -Mix of both Imp and Pub toons allowed -I KNOW Progenitor is the RP server but hey if there are other people that enjoy it and would want to set up some roleplay within the Guild too that'd be awesome -ACTIVE people. You don't have to be online everyday as I understand work and life etc. happens (hey, if you can be then bonus!) But I seem to have all the luck getting into Guilds where the people are really nice etc. and then I either get kicked for not being keen on doing PvP (and some other pretty ridiculous reasons that I'm not going to list too XD), being gone for a few days too many due to illness or family/work commitments or everybody in the Guild suddenly stops being active all at once or stops wanting to group up to do group stuff If anybody would be interested drop me a little message or something in this thread and hopefully we can start working it out together

I'm really into role-playing with my characters myself though I haven't done much here as people who ask for roleplay on this server tend to be given the boot across to Progenitor (and like you I don't want the fuss of transferring ALL characters over just because that one is "the EU roleplay server" So I could give it a go if you were looking for people to RP with I guess haha

Yeah sadly Bio Ware didn't have the foresight to do that for every class, in fact SW is actually an anomaly for having Jaessa as being able to be DS or LS so if you're going to compare every class to the SW companion options then you are going to be nothing but disappointed, sorry XD like I already said you either gotta suck it up and just play the game like you want without being fussed about max influence from convos (bc you can top it up with gifts if it bothers you that much ) or you've got to bend to what they want to please them and go against what your character would have wanted to do themselves XD

Well yes as by default most of the companions for Republic side are other Jedi or soldiers who value noble actions whereas the Imperial side has companions like Vette who are slaves and thus not actually cruel or much like the Sith at all. Though it depends on the companion, the first JC companion, Qyzen actually values dialogue choices where you throw your weight around and kill powerful enemies, while Kira the second JK companion likes it when you pick all the sassy/snarky options and mock your enemies, and hates it if you help them TOO much instead of holding them responsible for their actions But there's a reason companion gifts exist and that is it XD you either play the game the way you want to and put up with people not agreeing with you until you pick up a companion that does agree with you (I know for a fact there's one for JK not sure about JC) , or you pick options you know your comps will like to please them. There's no middle ground as far as companions go unfortunately:(

Well without having played through all 3 chapters of each yet myself I couldn't confirm it for you either lol the point is that they don't have to be "good people" Just because they're Jedi. There's a light side and dark side storyline for each class, and while the basic events are the same parts of it will change depending on your dialogue choices regarding alignment. So yes, if you consistently pick dark side options and just generally be a douche to everybody you meet you probably will end up in a similar scenario to what you're suggesting Just like you can change the Imperial class storyline endings by choosing more light sided options instead

If the above suggested repair doesn't work, it may be a graphics card issue where your graphics card can't handle the super detailed textures ^^ so if need be you can try lowering the textures from "high" to "medium" or "low" and see if that helps

There are more than enough dark side options for both Consular and Jedi Knight stories, so of course you don't have to be a goody two shoes if you don't want to! My Consular is grey sided so makes a lot of DS choices herself (especially when it comes to being more selfish or acting rashly and starting fights where she should take the peaceful option as a "Good Jedi" XD) rather than always making LS choices, while my Knight is almost exclusively Light side (apart from romancing a certain redhead of course!) So It's all down to how you want to play it really I will say the Consular story is quite slow to build up in Chapter 1, but it gets REALLY good near the end so stick with it because you're missing out by not sticking through it o.O

I have all the grade 1 missions and even some grade 2 by now but none of them drop the piece things (I cant even remember what they were called, it's been that long since I've gotten one. All I remember that they were in the grade 1 medical supplies category) I need to make the basic components that all my recipes need so I can't even use my biochem skill D':

Where do we even get these base components in crew missions anymore? I'm not able to do biochem with my sentinel anymore because I have none and the mission that used to drop them now drops Hyposyringes exclusively (which is oh so very helpful because you can already buy those from a crew skill vendor! >_<) Why did they change the drops in the new update and whose darn *** do I have to kiss to get my grade 1 medical supplies back? This is driving me crazy! XD

Okay, these are literally IMPOSSIBLE?! I've been trying to find the dread seed on Taris for literally 5 hours. 5.HOURS. And it doesn't matter where I go, how many times over follow the stupid green ring that tells me it's supposed to be right close by to where I'm standing (psi it just tells you to go in a totally different direction each time it's not helpful at all) I've stood right on the quest marker and done it, I've inched around the quest marker in circles, I've looked in all the pools with the red dots in because that's what all the old topics from 2014 said to do to find them and every time I get a green circle and "the droid detects promising results near your present location" But the green circle is always in a different place no matter where I follow it to Did I mention the amount of times I've been mobbed by the world boss because it spawns in exactly the same place and then it kills me and I have to start ALL over again? I love this game and I'd like to complete all the missions but I am literally about to rip my own hair out because it doesn't seem to matter what I do this stupid thing will not just give me the seed!

I may or may not have played during the 200% XP boost and my Consular/Shadow is basically lvl 60 (59 and 1/2) and not even finished chapter one, hehe

So I know you can return to planets to do bonus series quests after completing the main planet and class storylines on them and reaching a certain level, but I'm a stickler for doing things in chronological order and I wondered if there was a particularly 'canon' or 'right' order or time to go back and do them in? Should I complete all three chapters of the class story first and then go back and do the bonuses, should I go back to the beginning planets (Tython/Korriban, Coruscant/Dromund Kaas, Nar Shaddaa, Taris) after finishing chapter one etc.? XD
