  1. So I've been going through the Onslaught storyline on my operative and have reached the end of the Onderon storyline. When I enter the throne room and trigger the end cutscene, the game suddenly crashes to desktop as the Beast Lord and Nebet fight. I tried three times last night to get through the cutscene and twice tonight to make it work, and I'm honestly stumped.
  2. Can confirm, had my FPS Counter on and was getting FPS in the single digits. Input lag was absolutely terrible, I had to mash my keys multiple times just to try to follow my rotation.
  3. People wonder why there aren't any tanks in queue anymore. So it's around midnight and I decide I'm going to finish up my Galactic Conflicts weekly. So I hope in queue and after a few minutes, boom I get a pop. Athiss MM. So in my head I'm thinking, cool this should be quick. The lineup includes, Me > Level 70 Guardian Level 70 Slinger Level 70 Sent Level 67 Sage Healer The sentinel and slinger had decent 230ish gear, Sentinel had his set bonus not sure about the slinger. On the other head, our Sage (who's also healing) is so undergeared that even with the bolster he was still incredibly weak. Anyway, Flashpoint starts. It goes well and uneventful until the first boss, I still noticed that the healer was hardly healing when the adds were doing damage but didn't say anything. First boss goes by, and oh my god I was barely healed throughout the whole thing. The only reason I didn't die is because I was using my medpacs, adrenals and cooldowns throughout the entire fight. I roll my eyes and decide to roll with it, I've dealt with worse in Group Finder. As we go through the adds to the next boss, the healer and the slinger start flaming me in group chat. Typical, blame the Tank for everything. I ignore it and keep trying to clear the trash. I still noticed the DPS and heals were really weak, but didn't say anything. As we're clearing trash, I have to take a second to pick something up my cat knocked off of my desk. I reach over to pick it up, thinking that nobody's going to pull before me. Big mistake. The sage pulls, leading him to die as a result. He and the slinger immediately start to flame me even harder, telling me to learn to taunt, etc. Finally, we get to the second boss. I tank him in the usual spot as I always do, however my "Move Left" key got jammed and I accidentally moved out of it. Immediately got called a ******* because I got knocked back out of the spot, even though I got back into the spot two seconds later. I guess tanks can't make mistakes, otherwise we'll make people upset that are so obviously trying to get carried through the flashpoint. Once again, no heals through the fight. Would have died without my cooldowns and rotation. There's a lot more but I honestly can't be assed to go into further detail since I'm so tired and annoyed. Apologies for any grammar mistakes, I'm tying this out at like 1:30 in the morning.
  4. "Coordinated interrupts and CC's are my worst nightmare" - A healer.
  5. Considering the fact that I've been on The Ebon Hawk for most of my time on SWTOR; I wouldn't say that we (Imps) are "bad" at PvP, however I'll admit that we've been losing more matches (which is to be expected when you have old players/guilds leave and new players/guilds join the server). Over the past three weeks, I've noticed that there has been a severe lack of healers queueing for Warzones on the Imperial Faction. Whereas on the Republic Faction, there's an average of 2-3 healers in each warzone. I'm not saying those healers shouldn't queue in the spec that they want to play... but it's a little unfair to continuously put three healers on a team against a team with no healers. I feel like Bioware should allow cross-faction teams that are balanced (healers on each team with tanks and dps), but... that's all up to Bioware ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Other than that, individually most of the players that play PvP on The Ebon Hawk are pretty good and consistent (at least the ones I'm able to remember and keep track of ;/) But we could be doing a lot better than what we're currently doing. Thing is on TEH, most of the people on the fleet are sitting at the cantina roleplaying.
  6. Filled it out a while ago, hope you got what you needed

    PVP Standing?

So I've pretty much been absent from SWTOR for the past month and I'm interested in playing some Ranked and Unranked PVP again. How's PVP Standing on The Harbinger and/or The Ebon Hawk? Is it good? Is it bad? Is it the same old same old?
  8. lol i should probably stop going on the forums when i should be sleeping since i always manage to mix things up, thanks for correcting me
  9. The script looks good for a beginner guide but there are a couple of things you can add. Stock up on Warzone Adrenals and Warzone Stims before entering the queue. Adrenals and Stims will allow you to increase your defense rating for a short period of time while you are in combat/allow you to heal for a large amount of health while you're in combat. If you're a tank try to stay by the healer/person you're guarding. If you're a healer stay near your guarding tank at all times. In Alderaan Civil War and Ancient Hypergate, try to settle on who's going to guard a node before the game starts so that you don't abandon a node/leave it unguarded. In Arena's, try to talk to your team to settle on a target to burn down first, then the second target, third, and fourth. Don't group stealth on the way to the ball in Huttball. It slows down your team and ruins your chances of getting the Huttball before the enemy. In Huttball you can not catch/hold the ball while you're in stealth. You must be out of stealth and remain out of stealth while you hold the Huttball. It's typically best to send a stealth class behind the enemy team's line, run the ball to them, and pass it to them to get an easy goal. In Huttball you should try to keep at least 3-4 people at the Huttball Stand. Because the Huttball is more likely to be scored/reset than to be captured by your team (not always the case), the team that keeps pressure on mid for their ball handlers to run the ball/score are more likely to succeed. (thanks snave) Don't spend too much time trying to get the Huttball back from the enemy team. If the enemy team gets past most of the firetraps, head back to mid so your team has a better chance to get the ball. Even if you get the ball from the enemy team while it's near your line, it typically will not work out for your team. You'll have to run a greater distance than (from your line to the enemy team's line rather than from mid to the enemy team's line.) (thanks snave x2) If you are defending in any game mode and you are a Trooper or a Bounty Hunter, try to deploy Stealth Probes around the objective you are defending as often as possible. The chances of catching a target in stealthin the Stealth Probe is not high but occasionally it does work. Don't try to hit someone with a CC from stealth if they have the white bar (resolve). Resolve basically means the target is immune from CC's. Odessen is basically a domination gamemode, your team will need to capture and defend the particular area to gain points. There are four powerups that spawn periodically near the spawns for each team. There are deactivation, activation, multiply, and speed boosts that you can activate for your team. Depending on the powerup, you'll accumulate points faster or stop the enemy team from gaining points from a particular node. Activation powerups are green. Multiply powerups are yellow/orange. Speed powerups are blue. Deactivation powerups are red. Odessen Proving Ground map layout (not by me), http://i0.wp.com/www.xamxamsays.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/OdessenWZwKey-01-final-final.jpg?resize=750%2C516 It's best to use the Multiply and Speed powerup on the same node so you can get the combination of the points that you would receive if you activated the powerups on two separate nodes. Call out if you're going to activate a particular node. Don't waste the activation node if there is a small amount of time for the round. Don't activate the deactivation node on a node that your team holds. Marauders/Sentinels can use Predation/Transcendence at the start of a Huttball/Civil War/Ancient Hypergate if they have the utility that allows them to use Predation/Transcendence without requiring 30 stacks of Centering/Fury. This will help you get to the objective faster. If you're playing as a Sorc/Sage, try to keep Bubbles on your teammates as often as you can. While it's not something you should worry about, it does help that teammates out by allowing them to take less damage. Operatives/Scoundrels can summon a Medical Probe (cant remember the name of the ability for the Scoundrel). The Probes can stack two times and each stack will last 20 seconds. It's also worth mentioning that the healing ability is a heal over time and will not shoot the person affected by it up to full health instantly. Snipers/Gunslingers are typically best to guard nodes due to the ability that they have which allows them to increase their Stealth Detection level while they are in cover. (They will have to build up 30 stacks of the ability for it to be useful when guarding). Once they get out of cover, the effect will wear off.
  10. Officially hyped x90000000000 I can't wait for this movie to come out
  11. I'm pretty sure you have to be level 55+ to be able to access Shadow of Revan.
  12. Well it is revealed in Chapter 7(?) that Senya noticed Vaylin's incredible and dangerous power while she was a child. So she went to Valkorian about the matter and Valkorian's solution was to lock away her powers. She was already pretty crazy as a child, as it's revealed as a child she actually crippled a guard just for dropping a ball. tl;dr: vaylin is freaking mental and im looking forward to seeing her return in knights of the eternal throne

    Plz bioware

I actually really like the Odesson Map. It's really not that bad once you learn how to properly play the mode. Sure communication is kind of a problem, considering people just like to go mute. But, there are occasionally games where people do talk in the chat. (whether they're just calling out or directing the team or w/e). It was confusing for me at first, but I didn't dislike the map.
  14. From what I heard, this error was supposed to have been fixed in one of the patches. This happened to me last month, I simply made a support ticket about this and I got a pretty quick response. http://image.prntscr.com/image/839c77d08ca44b93b5506d8e0e9f97ad.png
  15. It should just be the ending of the first part of the expansion, since Bioware just revealed the second season/next expansion http://www.swtor.com/eternal-throne
