  1. I'll be happy with the update as long as it's not so heavy on PvP and getting the best gear doesn't require PvP either, I never enjoyed MMO style PvP, I hated it in DCUO though I liked Legends PvP. It wouldn't be any different here. If SWTOR had a Legends PvP like DCUO where stats aren't a playing factor then I'd happily do it.
  2. I remember when I first started playing a Knight that it had an ability that NPC melee users still use where they swung and did 180 degree turn, did a backstab then did another 180 degree turn and finished with a baseball like swing. Stopped playing for quite some time before coming back only to find that the ability was gone, can't remember what it was called. I know that all melee based NPCs still use abilities that were removed from player characters. Why did they do that?
  3. I'm sure the next expansion or set of expansions will see the Republic and Sith Empire rebuilt and the Eternal Throne and the fleet written off somehow. It still ends with the Old Republic and the CIS and begins with The New Republic and Galactic Empire. Somewhere between the time frame of SWTOR and The Clone Wars, the Eternal Throne and the fleet were completely forgotten and erased from history. 4000 years is a good amount of time for the Republic to still be the dominant superpower and eventually collapsing to make way for the Galactic Empire while erasing the Eternal Empire from history, not the Eternal Empire collapsing to the Galactic Empire and the Republic collapsing 4000 years earlier.
  4. My Jedi is full LS V so I didn't kill her, but my confused am-I-evil-or-am-I-redeeming-myself sithkills her. But yes, I'm also confused on her character. I just finished the Consular story and it kinda seems like she was turning it around even before RoTHC.
  5. Vented Lightsaber would be nice, but it would just get a ridiculous price tag like the Unstable lightsaber had.
  6. Even when you look in the pack it comes in, it doesn't actually show up in that pack.
  7. I have a few characters who went the single route while others I simply waited too long to start a romance. Will we be able to get a second chance to romance returning companions? I didn't romance Elara so I'm wondering if I can after she returns. Another one is Jaessa. I didn't know you couldn't romance her unless you were both DS as I made her stay LS while my Warrior also went LS. Same question applies once she returns, will an LS Jaessa become a romance option?
  8. i thought Darth Nox was just the name given to you, didn't know you could get a different name based off making LS decisions. I sometimes forget swtor is still a bioware game.
  9. I don't think romances act the same way as in Mass Effect where you seem to have all time in the world in each game to romance whoever. I didn't pick the first 3 flirt options for Elara Dorn and now they aren't popping up anymore because I thought Sgt. Jax was going to be a companion as well and I already had a thing going on with her. Though with Kira, romancing her will require you to make DS choices given that you're both under oath to the Jedi Code. But that's nothing really if your Jedi is going full light. Although you might have the option to flirt with her during her companion quest if you didn't flirt with her earlier.
  10. You're missing a crucial part of that reference.
  11. I wish transmogrification extended to weapons as well, couple of the in-game lightsabers are quite nice but they don't have mod slots.
  12. It's been some time since I played the MovieBattlesII total conversion mod for Jedi Academy but I see the forums for it are still somewhat active. Just wondering if anyone here has ever played it or still plays it. Was going to reinstall it but my PC's antivirus blocks the download entirely now and won't let me bypass it.
  13. With all this talk about maining healers, I wonder why I never see any. I struggle doing uprisings as the only tank of the group while everyone else is just damage. I don't how anyone can get through them without someone pulling all the aggro if they're all DPS. Which is the main reason why I made a Sage though I also have an Inquisitor who will also be a healer. I assume I'm getting near the end of the Hutt Cartel DLC on my Inquisitor and wondering about just switching my discipline to healer at this point before starting the Revan stuff.
  14. I enjoyed the amount of lore and story that made the Jedi Knight series what it was. But then SWTOR came along and it instantly became my favorite era long before it was released and we were still watching and waiting for the next report from Gnost Dural.
  15. I recently ditched my Shadow and made a Sage, I have to redo 1 1/2 chapters but that's fine, the Sage is infinitely more fun to play than Shadow. So I was wondering if it's possible to play the story as a healer while my companion does the damage role without many problems. Would I come across later parts of the story where my companion will be incapacitated and I have to actually solo a boss? I was struggling a bit with this during the Temple of Assassins story on Hoth on my Inquisitor, without any healing from my companion, I couldn't use Heroic Moment and stims barely helped me on my 4th attempt to solo that Ancient Assassin Droid or w/e they're called. Though I forgot I had the Static Barrier ability, sure that would've helped me greatly. Will I come across something similar in the Consular story if I went full heal? Or would I be just fine as long as I don't mind fighting enemies longer?
  16. Then that just leaves the games. I actually never played TFUII so I assume TFU holds the #1 spot that demonstrates the best use of the Force. Taking down that Star Destroyer was so cool.
  17. One of the big highlights for me personally in The Force Unleashed was when Starkiller was able to move an entire Star Destroyer and bring it crashing down toward the planet using the Force. I always thought Yoda moving Lukes X-Wing out of the swamp was really cool and teaching Luke that there is no such thing as heavy or big and that all you need to believe in is the Force, but then TFU comes along and Starkiller one ups Yoda. Are there no other examples of something bigger than a Star Destroyer being controlled by the Force? Kinda disappointed we never see something like that in SWTOR where the Force is supposedly much stronger than in the original trilogy.
  18. The one type of PvP I'll never touch is an MMORPG multiplayer, I never found it fun because it never gives new players like me an actual chance to do anything or understand what's the best rotation to use, etc. So when I look at Fleet Commendations and how they can be earned, it says they can be earned in PvP but I also see they're earned from Space Combat missions also. I'm just looking to upgrade my ship but Space Combat takes forever to get enough commendations to buy all the grade 7 upgrades. Are there other ways to get them?
  19. We all want the one companion we romanced, which I'm sure is the same for OP. I'm waiting for Kira to come back and I didn't even romance her since my Knight is also female, she's just a very likeable companion. Neither are in skimpy outfits like you automatically assume. That's a very vain response.
  20. The link for shipments doesn't really help since it's also in-game. I'm just gonna assume some of the older items will be found in Scavenger crates. Crime Lord or Hotshots stuff drop in Scavenger or not. That sorta thing is what I'm asking.
  21. Do the Scavenger packs drop different items than the newer packs? Such as armor that's been around longer than others? Some say they can found in specific packs like Starfighter while others say they drop in silver or gold packs. Where are the best places to make credits? I have to search the GTN for the items I have so that I know how much to sell them for roughly and I know Flashpoints give nice amounts of credits when going solo. Trying to save up at least 30mil credits and atm I just have 8mil.
  22. I've only played the game for a couple months and I love it. However I don't see why I should hate the new update. I just got my first character to lvl 70 but have never tried any of the group stuff and don't know where to start. I tried to read the patch notes but I ended up just being confused by what I was reading. I don't know what these command tokens are, bolsters, command points, etc.
  23. The Jedi Knight series is much more optimistic. My favorite era is definitely SWTORs. There's so much going on, adventurous and the whole Galaxy is involved in one way or another. The Jedi and Sith have numbers and aren't some sort of lost legends like in the original trilogy. Suddenly you go from Return of The Jedi to The Last Jedi? Can't have Star Wars without Jedi/Sith.
  24. Rogue Squadron. Jedi Outcast Jedi Academy Shadows of The Empire Star Wars: Bounty Hunter Star Wars: Obi Wan Star Wars: Podracer KOTOR Out of those choices, I would go with Shadows of The Empire. The one thing that sucked about the game were the controls.
