I quit because I am waiting for F2P. I decided to try WoW again to play with some friends, and I must admit it is so much worse. Even those TOR is being called a WoW clone, it is a lot more fun to play. The animations and combat are really what seperates it. The problem is that WoW has a lot more filler that is necessary in an MMO. I will try GW2 when it releases, but I believe I will be back to this game. I must say this is my favorite MMO that I have played, I just hate that it did so poorly in the subscriber category. I dont know anyone that plays anymore

This should not need to be posted as it should go without saying, but abandoned quests should be able to be reacquired. I love this game and I am pretty laid back when it comes to lot of issues, but this on bothers me. I cannot complete the Dread Masters quest line on Belsavis because of this. So not only am I missing out on the story (which I have since viewed on an alt) but I can also never complete my codex. There is no reason that I should not be able to get this quest again.

If you are referring to an auto-run feature, its in the game. Not to mention the game has quick travel, fleet pass, and travel points. MMOs are not for you at all.

It took a little time but I got into a good group for Foundry Reg. Ive only tried once but it worked.

Trust me when I tell you playing on a full server greatly outweighs having some 'cool' name. You can still have an awesome name, just make it a little funky. On my first server I had Grevious. Now I just have Grevous. No big deal. And if that was taken then I would have just used an alt letter. The game has been so much more enjoyable with other people to play with.

Then dont worry about the new companion. I agree with the OP. Some things in this game should require a little effort. There are not many things that do. I am not complaining about it and I also dont have enough time to obtain the new companion. That just means that others will have it and I wont unless I dedicate some time and effort towards it.

I disagree. Every single person I know that has played has payed attention to the story for their class and FPs/Ops Yes after the first time its repetative, but that first time adds a great deal of immersion. I dont think anyone complains about that aspect of the game. Story has made this my favorite MMO by far.

Im all for a dungeon finder, but completely against a raid finder. Thats when I left WoW. LFR dumbed down raids to the point that new content was cleared on first tries. But yea, I would love a LFG tool for dungeons and I would also like 3D space combat.

I am all for LFG for FPs. As long as they dont do them for raids. I think that was the dumbest thing Blizz did.

Honestly what I would suggest is creating a character that you havent yet, but always wanted to, on a populated server. Then when transfers happen, just bring your other guys over there. That is what I did and I havent regret it. Going from a server with 30 on the fleet to one with over 300 is pretty awesome. Not to mention every planet has between 50-150. This makes everything more fun.

I dont think I am getting this. I would have noticed for sure. EDIT: Now that I think about it, I havent worn a hood since 1.2. Hmm I hope this is fixed.

If they ever do server merges or character transfers, you will find these very easy to do and quite fun. My server is full and every planet has plenty of people constantly looking for heroic groups.

Its sort of a role play thing. I never understood it either, but my friend from WoW suddenly started collecting any grey item that was a skull. Apparently there were a lot in the game.

The most popular US server is Fatman which I am on. I have been able to do every single heroic on each planet just by using general chat. If you have been completely unable to find a guild by using general chat then I have no clue what to tell you. You are obviously not on the most popular server.
