  1. At this point, messing up things that aren't broken by "fixing" them is just what they do. Remember the 4.x gear system that got scrapped because it was "too complicated" and had "too many currencies"? Yeah... I don't want a 6.0 if it's gonna be like that, please. Just do bugfixes, and properly test them for more than an hour, thanks.
  2. Please explain! You can't put the legacy gear on your legacy and move mods from each alt that has the shell into it, anymore? Is it locked now or something? Haven't logged in yet, kinda freaking out over what's going on, there's people saying 248 set disappeared too ...
  3. Also, if you plan on gearing to tier 5 you better have the whole entire set ready, or byebye set bonus. Oh, and enjoy accuracy enhancements on your sorc.
  4. I get the feeling they'll say this is "working as intended" ...
  5. What about planetary rampages now requiring a total of 300 kills vs 150 ? Or how the 252 set bonus doesn't mix with the 248 identical set bonus? Are those issues, or?
  6. Ok here goes. This is for pvp, with about +119% iirc, forgot to jot down exact bonus : Any pvp weekly mission : 6570 once per legacy (as before) 10 unranked matches : 723 once per day per legacy. Why is this here 10 ranked matches : 1095 once per day per legacy win a pvp match : 723 once per day per legacy win an unranked match : 285 repeatable do an unranked match : 186 repeatable
  7. You didn't highlight $hit. Sorry. How much points will the reintroduced objectives give? Will they be repeatable infinitely like they used to or once per day per legacy? Will there be a high reward objective for weekly pvp like it used to? Will there be a high reward objective for pvp kills like it used to? Surely you must know. Is this stalling for another week as we "discuss" future changes about something that didn't need them?
  8. Seconded. Kinda moot now, ofcourse, patch is tomorrow, but we should have been updated on the specifics, and given feedback. Our feedback is "very valuable" after all, isn't it? Trust is REALLY low at this point. I assume everything in yellow text is intentionally misleading, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Personally, if I wasn't on a prepaid card I'd have unsubscribed last week. As it stands, I think this will be the last one.
  9. The cq reward could be for lasting some time with a boss, if it's important to pve-ers to have pve participation conquest objectives. Perhaps lasting until boss enrages? Something not spammable, and more time consuming than actually trying to kill the boss, maybe. After all, if you've lasted that long, you've practically done the op. I don't think something like this would compete and interfere with actually killing a boss and getting drops and cxp and stuff. This is pure theory, not even a suggestion at this point, though, in the middle of all this fubar mess.
  10. Sorry this is not enough, considering that everything on this list should have been weeded out in testing or discussed before release. If feedback was truly valuable we'd have been informed in detail before the update, not after the fact. The only concrete positive thing is the reintroduction of repeatable pvp conquest objectives, but there's no mention of the reward points. This is still worrying. The UI needs to differentiate between once per legacy and once per toon, the objectives are very buggy in that respect now. Did you not think this distinction existed? Was this tested at all? Crafting is inconsistent. Biochem uses old recipes still. Biochemists will exploit this for conquest. Crafting with the new recipes is atrociously expensive. This needs to be reverted back now, not in May or later. On lowering targets, again, did you test this at all? Did you even do the math? Final note on your other post, not quoted. "Perhaps next week or in 5.9 or after that maybe" is not a clear timetable. Really now. Revert conquest back. This is a failure.
  11. "Seeing your thoughts on the revamp is very helpful to the team." Is this a joke? Very helpful to the team, really? But juuuuust not helpful enough for you to have shared information, and asked for our feedback before the update, when you could have actually used these VERY HELPFUL thoughts, I GUESS. And still no information on what is bugged and what is intended behavior, not even a hint. Something like "some objectives are not behaving correctly right now" or "some recipes are not showing correct ingredients" would suffice, but no I guess. So it's all intentional then? Talks, intentions after the fact, feedback that may or may not be completely ignored. It's gonna be months of half-assed, bugged patches till this is back to aaaalmost workable, isn't it? How about you roll everything back now, and then lets all talk about your intentions, thoughts, feelings and moods?
  12. Honestly, after this, I'd rather they don't touch anything anymore. A revamp for tanks in pvp will end up disabling any dps ability while you guard (but will also disable abilities for the one being guarded), will lower the effectiveness of defense and shield, and _somehow_ will make random craft recipes succeed with no item being crafted. J/k but would you be surprised, honestly?
  13. Positive news today or tomorrow, actual working fixes in emergency patch next week at the latest. Or it's gonna be discussions and half measures until 6.4 next year, IF there's a game then still. One week for a real patch, not "news" not "discussion". I don't care if it's realistic or not. They should have tested their patch instead of our patience. Remember cxp launch, and how "soon" it got fixed, and to what degree? spoiler, it's still not. We had a vendor for standalone mods and enhancements, dammit, till they decided to revamp and fix, now this. I'm not waiting months and months again for half-assed semi-rollbacks to fix what didn't need fiddling with.
  14. I kinda wish Anthem crashes and burns It probably will too, lol.
  15. Crafting war supplies is bugged to hell, warzone rewards from conquest are not repeatable, and planet rewards for small vs large are practically the same. These are problems. Big ones.
  16. Appreciate the intent, not so much the content. Many have said it but it's worth repeating: without any consideration on how each class is countered there's no way of even beginning to address balance. Defensives are a big part of it, as is mobility, utilities and special abilities. What's the point in dps brackets based on advantages/disadvantages, when there are blatant advantages in certain classes that are completely ignored? Hopefully this isn't an empty gesture, and some feedback will get through. Or what's the point of transparency, even.
  17. You do know that I can like the game and still feel negative about the recent changes, right? If it comes to the point where I don't like it anymore then yes I'll silently leave. But as long as I still do, I'm staying, and I'm complaining, thanks. Besides, posting on a forum where there's a representative specifically paid to interact with players is interfering with the developers' jobs how exactly? You need to realize that people that complain and criticize are people who feel invested and who want to stay or, if they've stopped playing, want to come back. Otherwise they wouldn't be here at all. I'm sorry, but this shut up or get the f off attitude is childish at best.
  18. Concerning pvp : I don't want higher command ranks to "feel" more rewarding, I want a set target for gear I can conceivably and deterministically reach, and a level playing field. I want to be able to gear my alts to max within a reasonable time, and to be able to switch disciplines if I want to, also within a reasonable time. This was one of swtor's greatest strengths, and you've effectively negated it completely. I think I'm not alone in this. For pve, I have no informed opinion, but I still think they should be separate, as in 4.0. I'm still invested in this, and want to see answers and further developments, but I'm losing interest fast. I think I'm not alone in this also. For now you still get reactions and a discussion going even if negative, but I feel soon you may not.
  19. 1. There is nothing to monitor or adjust with the current system imo : 3 per loss is overkill with bolster such as it is, and it's gonna get even worse when tier IV drops. You're effectively just setting the rate to 3 per match for anyone with starter or near-starter gear. People like that will soon be as undesirable in warzones as people with pve gear were pre-5.0, with the difference that there's no sure way to get to an acceptable level without insane amounts of unrelated to pvp grinding. And why should they want to pvp in the first place, when they most likely will bring the entire team down. If your answer to that is grind chapter 2 for X hours or you won't be effectively able to pvp, then i dunno what more to say. Also, anything higher than 3 per loss will reward afkers. Which means rewards need to be tied to participation. Award comps for medals, or a combination of medals and objectives, or better yet a score based on a combination of all pvp stats that make sense, weighted appropriately and dynamically. It's not an easy balance, but it's worth looking into, and a sure way to lose afkers while simultaneously not penalizing active players, at least not as much. Those stats more or less reflect a win or a loss anyway, so the result should be higher for winning anyway. (it goes without saying that a way to actually drop afkers from warzones is also needed) 2. This is marketing speak for please stay subbed. The only thing to look at or address is whether comps should be gone entirely and replaced with gc tokens (already legacy), or just become legacy-wide. Sorry, but at this point there's no other acceptable way.
