Hey y'all,returned to the game recently after an unintentionally long hiatus (life and all that). I have 3 level 65s and many more quickly headed that way. i've done and experienced the vast majority of the content in this game...with operations being the on glaring omission. I'm a good player, and know my characters. I am looking for a guild that wouldn't mind easing me in to ops. I'm mainly here for the story so that's why I REALLY wanna get into ops. Just do something similar to KOTOR 2 or the Mass Effect series for choices that didn't get carried over in the save. In mass Effect 2, there was a line of dialog where you had to choose whether you saved the council or not, and who you appointed to be human councilor. In Kotor 2 you got to decide if Revan was male or female, light or dark. A simple solution could be presented, especially for Khem seeing as he doesn't talk in Basic. lol

This. i actually got into an argument on Zakuul last week in gen chat. I was saying how Vit being Valk made literally no sense at all from any point of view. They were saying how Vitiate was a one dimensional, lame character (while I disagreed and found him to be very threatening but found him much less interesting after finding out that he is Valkorion as well and being the Sith Emperor was his "dayjob" so to speak. lol). I made this same point and said that Valkorion's introduction was sloppy and him being VItiate made absolutely no sense and they just said "well he's interesting." So...yeah.

Hey guys, I had a few questions about the soundtrack, two tracks in particular. First off, does anybody know the name of the song when you arrive in front of a Star Fortress? As in, you pick your destination and you fly through hyperspace and you come out of hyperspace right in front of it? It sounds familiar, and I believe it is one of the tracks from the films (aka done by John Williams) but for the life of me I cannot find it, and I have gone through multiple soundtracks trying to find it. The second one is a track that I know is a TOR original. I first heard it on Yavin 4 in SoR expansion, and actually thought it was Yavin 4's theme, but I have heard it in SoR and KOTFE multiple times now. I don't know how to describe it, but it is very cool. It's urgent and mysterious sounding. It sounds like an exploration theme. I've tried finding it on youtube, but no luck. This is my last ditch effort to find it. Lol, please help if you can!!

Geez, don't get me wrong, Bioware is handling this all incredibly terribly but downtime and patches come with MMOs. It's more than expected. Take a step back, drop your entitlement, and breathe. Yea, Bioware sucks. But you signed up for this.

Just tried this..finally got past the circles..lets see if the game actually starts patching now. It's a shame that random players are the ones finding solutions instead of Bioware, but hey, can't expect much out of them right

Like many of you I am getting the error 208. On my desktop the launcher is just sitting at the log in screen going in circles. For my laptop, the launcher won't even come up when I click on the icon, so that's fun! But hey, at least I got to enjoy the 45 minute chapter I waited 4 months for yesterday! Hi all, I'm getting pretty frustrated at Bioware/EA but I'm having a problem. I am back at school for the semester and I have been trying to log back onto TOR on my laptop (which I played on this wifi all last semester) and it is asking for a one time password to log in and verify the computer, which would not be a problem except I have tried getting them to send a OTP about 10 times now and nothing is happening. I cannot log into the game and I cant even download patch 4.04 so i can play after I finally log in. I checked spam, and I even tried changing my email. What can I do? My email account has never had any issues with TOR emails before.

We' ve known for a while now that TOR/KOTOR/TotJ was Legends canon, and as such it was not technically canon anymore after the EU reboot. I've always operated under the assumption that as long as a Legends story is not contradicted by anything canon, it can still be counted as canon personally(IE Plauegeis novel). EP 7 does seem to indicate that TOR/KOTOR won't be able to be considered even "kinda canon" much longer, which is interesting because of all the nods and references, most blatantly the fact that Rakata Prime is a CANON world now thanks to the visual dictionary. Not to mention Ren's helmet is very similar to Revan's. My guess is some of the people working in TFA were fans of KOTOR/TOR and just wanted to sneak in a few references for fun. I also kinda believe that at some point Disney will want to develop an Old Republic era through the new canon due to its popularity. I am praying/hoping they either recanonize certain things or make a new canon that is similar, but not exactly the same. Whether it is a standalone film, a separate trilogy, a comic, novel, game, or heck even a tv show, Disney knows, especially after TFA's box office numbers that people will eat up anything Star Wars. I think that is a bit further down the line, 3 or 4 years AT LEAST, but I still think that would be very cool. And it seems likely.

As someone who just finished Pierce's quest the other day, i actually found that I enjoyed PVP....some times. If I had a decent group..which..with GF is a complete shot in the dark.

You are correct. SWTOR and all it;s extra materials exist in the "Legends" universe of Star Wars. So yes, we can say that Jace is Theron's father from the "canon" of Annihilation...which is an excellent novel by the way.

Hey! This update is crucial! My smuggler is on Coruscant currently and JUST got to Black Sun Territory last night! The only thing I could think was "Wow there needs to be more music to better match the pacing in this area!" Thank you Bioware for doing what the TRUE FANS really WANT! SUBBED for LIFE!

Hey guys, I'm a LV 5 light side Inquisitor and recently finish the Inquis. story. I have Ashara at lv 31 affection, and I have checked online and there are still quite a few conversations I should be able to have with her but I am getting absolutely nothing. The last discussion we had I think I officially initiated the romance because we kissed for the first time. I was just wondering if this is a glitch or if to finish some companion stories and conversations you have to have insanely high affection levels?? I also noticed earlier today doing some flashpoints with her that IN the FPs she had the icon on her toolbar (and audio when I clicked on her) saying she wanted to talk but I take her to cantinas and my ship and she still doesn't want to talk. Any ideas? I really like her storyline and want to see it through to the conclusion.

Hey guys, I am sorry if this is in the wrong thread, but it seemed most appropriate lol. Anyway, I recently resubbed to The Old Republic about a week ago after coming back to the game and loving it. Previously I had played and subbed in the second half of 2013 and the very beginning of 2014 but then I got busy with life and had to quit playing for a while. I really didn't do much endgame content and mostly played through different class stories. Anyway, I'm back and I just finished my Inquisitor's storyline and did the Ilum questlines and FP's and I guess my question is..chronologically..what is next? I did black hole and that seems like just a random one off. But I started Section X and I feel like I missed something because now apparently the dread masters are against the Empire, etc. I am obviously aware of the order of expansions but I don;t know the order of things like Section X, some of the flashpoints, and all the operations, which I would finally like to get into but have no idea where to start. Are there any really good charts that explain the best order to do things chronologically? I'm a huge Star Wars nerd and a stickler for chornology. lol. THank you!
