Just try to sign on with an incorrect password. Then after is identifies the incorrect password. Just log back in with the correct one. Wait about a minute. The launcher will look like it is not doing anything. Then viola your patch should finish and you will be in game. It is what worked for me. Not my idea though, got it from the bug reports thread.

And that did get me past the error. And I am in game. Who knew!!!!! THANKS

Having the same issue. After Tuesdays nightmare trying to get the patch I figured tonight I could just come home and enjoy the game. Downloaded the 4.1a with no problems. But now when I try and log on I am getting the error 208 check your network connection error. I have tried disabling my firewall. Running as admin. I have never used Bit-raider. I have tried re-booting my machine. Still getting the error. Would be nice to get a response as to what is going on.

So I had early access and went through the nightmare most everyone else did on Tuesday night. So come home a little early from work today thinking I can enjoy the game. But no! Another patch. So patch starts and completes download and installs. I am thinking ok this is all good. Now I am getting "Unable to retrieve patch data. Please check network connection. (208)." My firewall is off, I have tried running as admin. I have re-booted my machine. Nothing, Nada, Zilch. My game rig is currently online with no network issues. This so frustrating. I hope they get their collective mess together soon.

Same happened to me. A better warning would have been nice. But in the grand scheme of things... not really a big deal.

Thanks for the replies, all good takes on it for sure. My main issue was having to forfeit the 30 comms if we didn't want to run the ops provided. Mostly it is the issue of removing the somewhat choice really. I too use comms to strip out mods into my gear.

I have been trying to figure out the purpose of this restriction on what operation my guild can que for. We are a more casual guild, however on Friday nights we have a set operations group. It is very frustrating to be forced into a single choice in the GF que. I just don't understand Bio taking that choice away from the players.

Same issue for me. Bunch of items sold, did not receive the credits. Also bought several Mk-6 kits and still have not received after 24 hours. Hope they fix this soon.
