  1. So, I have 3 BH's. None have been taken through KOTFE/KOTET - until now. One BH is on another server from what I now play on, was a woman, and romanced Torian. I stopped playing her at the end of the Class Story and never even started Ilum. I had switched server shortly after and left her behind as she wasn't my main at the time. The other two BH's are on my current server. One is a male and romances Mako. The other is a woman and NEVER romanced Torian as I fully intended to romance Theron once I reached Manaan. Now, for some reason that I can't fathom, the non-romanced Torian woman, who HAS been romancing Theron from the very first time I could, is in a confirmed relationship with him since Ch 9, and has currently met up with Torian again on Darvannis is getting a conversation option to end a romance I'd never started in the first place. Has anyone else encountered this situation with Torian, or any other POSSIBLE LI from their class story and have since met up with them again, but had never romanced them and instead chose Theron or Lana? I honestly feel bad about telling him we have to let each other go when we were never together, but I also don't want to start a relationship we'd never had and let Theron go on this character. And yes, I know how odd that is to feel weird and bad about a fictional character in a video game. Like my thread title says, "Awkward" and that doesn't even cover it completely. I had thought it odd when he walked in when I was talking to Shae and said "Beloved" but just shook it off. Now I understand why he said that, but at the same time don't since we were never romantically involved.
  2. I agree plus like Treek, he has his own story but many may not realize that if they don't go and talk to him on their ship. The story is slightly different if your playing on an IMP toon compared to a PUB toon as well, so if you get him on both factions you get extra the fun from his dialog.
  3. LOL I also hate when my weapon disappears, or for some reason during the BH story cut scenes all you see is Gault's weapon hanging in thin air, but no Gault. To the OP, try going into a SH (most prevalent on Nar Shaddaa) and find naked companions hanging about. You've never seen anything so disturbing as a naked Skadge hanging out by your GTN or Legacy Hold.
  4. Yes, I miss the individuality of our class story but at the same time I can understand how some consider their characters moved on. While I like the story in some respects, in others I do not, mostly because they tried to fit it into a one-size fits all. I was on the Dark Council and it seems Acina never recognizes that and tries to tell you how things are done when you get to DK. I can only SMH at that and laugh. In my head I'm thinking "I was on the Dark Council as well, are you senile all of a sudden?" Even the whole "Minister Lorman, MINISTER Lorman" while funny as hell couldn't make up for her disregarding that aspect of my past. But at the same time there were issues with the class story at times as well so really BW just stuck to what they knew. For instance, none of my 4 SW (2 guys, 2 gals, 2 jugg, 2 maur) would've ever let Quinn live. NOT EVER! However, I was never given that option at his betrayal. I hated all 3 options and kept begging my computer screen to show a 4th, sadly it didn't and I had to take him back on my ship and not toss him out the airlock after hours upon hours of torture. 2 different classes, 2 different situations, at two different times in the game, but sadly the same issue. BW not giving me what I want. Nor should I expect them to as not everyone would agree with what I want.
  5. You can't abandon RotHC, believe me many of us have tried. Ilum, Makeb, and Oricon, once clicked, stay in your missions log until completed. You're probably just not aware that the Makeb entry is for the RotHC expansion.
  6. I'm not sure what server you're on, but I know the Star Forge has a discord channel you could join. They have a lot of channels and many nice and friendly people that could help you with any part of the game. https://discord.gg/PM5pMGA
  7. I can imagine the fights already in a guild run OP that's doing lock-outs for conquest points if that was to happen!
  8. What server? What side, PUB or IMP? Can't exactly help if we don't know where you are.
  9. If you think this game has lost players because it isn't F2P or doesn't cater to F2P or Preferred than all I can do is laugh, truly. There are many, many, many reasons people have left this game and I can almost guarantee you it has NOTHING to do with the F2P or Preferred lack of perks. Just some that come to the top of my head: -4.0 and the introduction of KOTFE/KOTET - a lot of people despise this storyline. -4.0 and the loss of original story companions that still have yet to come back. -4.0 and the planet leveling not to mention dumbing down of the game in general. -5.0 and RNG. -5.x and still going with class balancing yet again that makes little to no sense. -5.x and this whole Iokath/Traitor storyline that is giving us very little story and as each part is released, is barely able to keep our attention. - Lack of overall GOOD or WORTHY content in general. Yes, one new GSF map after YEARS. Yes, one new PVP map after YEARS and it isn't even out yet. One new OP that gets a new boss released whenever..... I could go on but honestly don't feel like it. A lot of people left @ KOTFE. But last December when 5.0 dropped it was like the Exodus from Egypt and has never truly recovered. And it had nothing to do with F2P or Preferred.
  10. I didn't say they didn't have HOT's, I said when compared to Scoundrel/Operative they don't have as intensive HOTs. The class you've chosen is HOT intensive, whereas the other two aren't nearly so. One of the issues was not being able to determine your HOTs from another Scoundrel/Operative. There are very few OP teams that would have both running at the same time - normally they'd pair a Sage/Sorc with them and if not, then a Mando/Merc. Though you can run two Scoundrel/Operatives just fine, many don't as they'd like to have the different type of healing abilities on a team so many tend to have two different healers going together. The controls issue. While not perfect for what you want, does work well if set-up properly. "Tab" can circle through enemies. F1-F8 (and unless you're doing a 16 man OP should work just fine) is for the people in your OP frame. You have the numbered keys above the letters 1-0 and could even keybind via Preferences the - or = button to do either healing abilities to damage. These are normally whatever is on your main quick bar. You could then you use the number pad for whichever abilities you don't use the 1 to = for. You could move with the mouse or with the WASD or keybind WQES (as some have been known to do) for movement. In any of these cases your down to only having to do two things - click F1 and then 1 or numpad 1 (as an example). If that isn't easy or efficient enough than I don't know what to tell you. IMO, it doesn't get much easier than that!
  11. Most weeks only offer 1 time crafting, while some conquest weeks are geared almost entirely towards crafting. It is most likely those latter weeks people were referring to. Here's a link to the Dulfy guide explaining each conquest week in detail. http://dulfy.net/2014/08/07/swtor-planetary-conquests-guide/
  12. No, and we've been asking for awhile now for a schedule but they don't seem to want to release it to us.
  13. Not to mention that there are two other healing classes that could be used that don't rely on HOT's nearly as heavily as operatives/scoundrel class does. If HOTs is such an issue that they're refusing to play the game, why not try one of the other classes first? Guess if they can't get what they want, they don't want to even attempt it. Oh well, I personally wouldn't want a healer on my team that couldn't adapt anyways.
  14. I wish you guys luck at getting your rewards considering we've been asking for an updated December schedule for awhile now and can't even get that. We don't even know what's Conquest starting tomorrow and they can't even take a few minutes to post advising us.
  15. I looked at the Dev Tracker just to see if he wrote anything there about it and I found this. Maybe he got lost on his way to looking for it since we've heard NOTHING since, and that was on 11/29. http://www.swtor.com/community/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=9483512
  16. I do not agree with any action that would cheat innocent buyers/sellers from their goods or credits. Whatever BW does to resolve this should only hurt those that took advantage of the exploit - buying the gift from the vendor for no credits and selling it back for credits. If they can't do that, then I'm perfectly fine with nothing happening at all. At the end of the day it was BW's mistake and some players took advantage of it and got lucky. To have innocent players caught up in anything just to catch the culprits isn't worth it, IMO. So they got away with it? Why do you care, it isn't your personal credits they stole. And I don't really believe that the GTN prices are fully due to the cheaters laundering their money through. I know of players that see items on it that they feel are priced too low in their opinion so they purchase them then reroll them at a higher price - and unfortunately the items sell almost every time. I've never known some of these people to be left holding the item for long, or if they do it is by choice. They wait months upon months when the item is no longer available for single purchase via the CM and the crate has been removed from circulation - then they put the items out on the GTN again and again they sell at whatever they originally wanted them to. They obviously know how to play the market well. I'm personally not patient enough to hold onto something I may want to sell for that long. I can't stand seeing it in my legacy hold and just want it on the GTN and to sell RIGHT NOW, even if it is for less than what I desired. Items from the newest packs, or things like the Mastery Datacron and new Augments are the only items selling at extremely outrageous rates. Some of the outfits and weapons that had been talked about were always fluctuating in price, at least on my GTN, so that isn't anything new.
  17. Thanks for the listing. I'd forgotten about the roadmap actually and hadn't even thought to check there. Good to know I was correct about the date though. Now to add to that list: Bug 1 - 10000 that came from Update 5.6.
  18. While a nice addition, I personally wouldn't want that because I have "NO SELF CONTROL!". LOL Literally, by having to take that extra step and open up my Legacy Hold, it makes me stop and think for just a minute if what I'm thinking of purchasing off the GTN, or from a Vendor, is something I really NEED to have at that very moment. If it was in currency, I'd probably buy it and then kick myself for days afterwards. However, I do also understand those that don't want them there just like they didn't want the UC's in their currency as when they transfer a character they're able to determine how many credits/UC go with them. If it was held in currency NONE would transfer or worst case scenario BW would mess it up and ALL would transfer. I hate the fact that the UC's take up space in my Legacy Hold, but can understand the necessity of it. Now if only BW would give us more than 6 tabs..... I also don't have the lag issues with opening up my Legacy Hold or going to my SH's, so can't really understand how bad it is for some, though I can imagine it. But if they're having lag issues just by opening up their Legacy Hold, then they obviously have issues just playing the game and would have to wonder why they bother? If it is that bad that having credits stored in a Legacy Hold instead of in the currency tab is so problematic for them, how can they possibly enjoy playing any aspect of the game?
  19. From your point-of-view it is pointless, but for many, many others, it isn't. There are many people that have characters that were close to the previous cap and now by placing credits in legacy hold and increasing it, they can hold even more money then previously. Not only that, but for those of us that are sick and tired of logging in/off characters just to transfer credits via email (with a 5 credit fee), no longer have to do so since we can place most of them in Legacy and they'll be there for the character we want to have it when we want to have it. We can also see how many credits we have, for the most part, across our entire legacy (depending on how much we keep on each character). I have over 30 characters on one server alone - both factions - and to try to keep track of who has how much money was a PITA. Now that most of my credits are held in the Legacy hold, I no longer need to wonder. Just because something doesn't give something extra to F2P or Preferred doesn't mean it isn't any good. If they want to lose their cap, then they can subscribe, plain and simple.
  20. But again they don't state that the credit cap has any effect on F2P or Preferred players specifically, and why would it? Just because currency was going legacy wide did not mean at all that F2P or Preferred wouldn't still be restricted to the cap opposed on them by BW for not being subscribers. Unless they specifically state that F2P or Preferred would also get a specific perk, you shouldn't assume they would. Most of the time it is geared towards Subscribers, unless stated otherwise.
  21. I've had good and bad experiences with CS over the years, but lately it's been nothing but bad and they honestly don't know what they're talking about. They come back with answers that are completely wrong and proven by posts put here on the forums by Eric or Keith. Even when you direct them here, they claim that they are right and I am wrong. I've given up on my latest issue as frankly it's not worth the hassle in dealing with CS.
  22. Exactly this. Also, though I removed the KOTFE/KOTET stuff, I also agree there and will add on that having non-force class characters all of a sudden being able to use force abilities due to Valkorian being in their heads was also a step too far, but that's just my opinion. Even when I use Heroic Moment on my characters I specifically try to stay away from the force abilities if I'm on a non-force using character. It just feels WRONG to use them.
  23. IMO there are enough things broken in the game as is, introducing add-ons could just make it worse. I understand what you're saying as I use add-ons in other games and find them very useful, but I would NEVER use them on this game just because I can't guarantee they'd work the way they're supposed to because SWTOR manages to break things more than fix them - unless it is a CM bug, then it's fixed quickly and efficiently. My only suggestion is to look in the Preferences and then under the Targeting, Movement, and Quick Bar sections. Also under the UI to make sure all Quick Bars are enabled. Like someone else posted, group members have specific keys that aren't normally used "F1-F8". The "Tab" is normally to cycle through enemies. Then your normal "1-0" is for the abilities you place on your main bar. If you happen to have a gaming mouse with numbers on the side you've opened up even more options as you can use the "number pad" to bind a separate quick bar abilities for either damage or healing (whichever you didn't use 1-0). This isn't perfect, but maybe it is closer to what you desire?
  24. Since there have been quite a few changes to classes since these original numbers were done, can we get an updated DPS ranking? Between some classes getting nerfed, some buffed, and utility changes, I'd have to think the rankings listed aren't quite the same any longer. I'm honestly curious to see where my characters fall on that list now.
  25. Iokath set us up with the traitor storyline and gave us dailies area - though many loathe them. It also gave us a new OP with multiple boss releases over time. This is also where we farm grade 10 now. Umbara - gave us who the traitor was - but only a FP. Yes we can pick up some grade 10, but only if we do the FP over and over again. Why no dailies? Why can't we just go to Umbara and farm grade 10 like Iokath? Copero - barely any story at all. A FP that is too similar to the Kaliyo KOTFE chapter - all it's missing is the NPC's being able to target you from 50m+ away. Again no dailies and I don't recall but I didn't see any nodes for farming when in the FP - did Solo and Story. I'd really love dailies here as well as then maybe they can delve deeper into the story than what we got in the FP. There was something I recalled though as I did the Copero FP and I honestly couldn't tell you what triggered my memory here except maybe the similarity to trash mobs like Kaliyo's chapter. When you meet up with Kaliyo and head off with her, Theron says he has a contact to meet, but you never hear anything about that again. We are in Zakuul so there is a very good possibility that Theron was contacted or contacted the Heralds at that point and started to set-up his whole "traitor" or "undercover" scheme. It just seemed odd that there was no follow-up to that scene as previous or future ones have been that made me consider it as plausible. Oricon or the dragon hypothesis I really like. In fact in KOTET after we save Voss we get that email from Sana-Rae and at the end she tells us about a vision. I don't recall the exact wording but there was something in it about a Dragon, Throne, and 2 people in front of it (dead, ash, alive I can't remember). What if it comes to pass that Theron was working undercover and Lana knew the whole time and we're given the choice to off them both?
