Its not just regal tauntaun. I have 2 characters so far, one Jedi Consular and one Imp agent that on mounting any 2 legged creature turn into mutants. So far its 2 out of 3 characters. I think I'm afraid to look at the rest! I've tried tundra tauntaun, orobird, and kybuck. oh dear. I dared look. 4 characters are freaks. All females. Wonder why my males are immune?!

What I really want confirmation of is that if I complete another class story it WILL kick in and be counted after the bug is fixed. Has anyone had that confirmed? How can I know that my smuggler achievement won't come back but the Imperial Agent class story I finished in the meantime will be ignored because it happened during 'bug'? Given that they let such a bad bug happen to start with (and it certainly does matter if you use heroic moments during game play and lose legacy abilities) than it doesn't reassure me that I can't find an answer. Has anyone else got an answer? I just want to know if I play now it counts.

What I saw on the EA support about my classes infuriated me. I am NOT a Legendary player but I earned my smuggler class. And I used that smuggler kick with my other characters on heroic moments. Care to explain if this update will fix it? Because the EA support says MAY and that is WRONG. I have never complained much about weird bugs, or the eternally slow updates. But this goes too far. It was posted like this bug they just introduced only affects Legendary players, as if everyone is already playing KOTFE. My character's story achievement and the uses my other characters got out of it got thrown under a bus. The world will NOT come to an end if you delay the launch long enough to bug test and no the class stories are NOT expendable! I see no point in playing until its fixed. And if that means I don't play til May than I'll probably wonder why I should bother to subscribe again - after all, I'm already sitting here figuring my achievements won't count and probably won't count if I finish the latest class before its fixed! What happens if I DO finish another class story? Will it even be counted as completed or will it be ignored?! Have you even bothered to CHECK?

Well. Game just won't start after patch. Now I have had it do that on a fluke once or twice before but obviously its an epidemic. The sad thing is I fought all week and lost a whole week of subscription due to slow buggy internet and a buggy driver Windows 10 installed (and reinstalled no matter how much I rolled back). The customer support was most helpful putting me on the right track. I only just was able to get in the game before that initial update. Now I sadly must suffer for a game update I didn't even need yet, since my first character is only just gotten to KOTFE and I set it aside for my second. And this is only the second month of my subscription. I suppose it would be naive to assume they could just 'rollback' the patch like I could my driver or something.
