  1. Thanks for the replies. I'll keep playing it for a bit and see what happens. Just grind it out on SF / heroics and see what happens.
  2. I used a level 60 unlock on a trooper and it allowed me the chapter 1/2/3 unlocks. Now, when doing the same to smuggler it does not. Quesiton(s): I know folks were saying that this should not allow those unlocks, but why the inconsistency here? Why do the trooper unlocks occur but not the smuggler? Only curious, not meaning to complain / gripe. Has anyone else experienced this?
  3. Yeah I've waited until Rush was done. But does that matter? Its happened a few times so maybe I'm hitting it at the wrong spot. I was under the impression that it did not follow GCD regardless.
  4. I'm getting intermittent behavior where Precision gets put on GCD. My initial rotation is Blade Rush -> Precision -> Blade Dance. During this window, I wait for Blade Rush to nearly fall off the GCD before hitting it and Blade Dance near at the same time (just before Dance). What I've noticed, is that when I do this, I run into an issue where Precision gets put on GCD and I have to wait a second or so to hit Blade Dance. Its not a huge issue, but I've seen it a few times parsing and doing ops and was wondering if anyone else has seen this behavior and if its a bug or something I'm doing to cause.
  5. Thank you for posting this. I almost gave up on my Sentinel after all the rage about nerf / grief from people, and respec'ed to combat in lieu of your guide. My DPS isn't as high as some of the top parsers but I'm getting near 5.5k on unoptimized gear. I only have a couple of set pieces. I posted http://parsely.io/parser/view/86122/0 for feedback. I messed up a couple of times on my rotation, but the guts of it are there. I did however add an inspiration at the beginning, and that helped immensely. Always looking to improve - thanks again.
  6. I too am interested in what your gear looks like. 224 gear or 216?
  7. With regard to the OP: The vocal minority left a very nasty taste in BW's mouth after ME3. So much in fact, that it prompted resignations of CEO (although, people can dispute whether or not this was the case), certain people leaving BW, and a ton of people that managed to get EA voted as the worst company in America. While some of that is in dispute, it happened. I doubt that BW wants to go thru that again. However, I believe we should all reserve judgment of the game for at least 2 months. When people are starting to finish up grinds, etc. Also, the new progressive story on a month by month basis has not happened yet. Sadly this happens with all MMOs. The only MMO where I did not personally observe this was Eve, but that may be a red herring. It happens. First it was sentinels on the Watchman spec. Next it will be something else. The rage that ensued from Watchman changes has dissipated once some good folks on here have posted their calcs / theorycrafting and found it to be even better than it was previously. As for me, the story is good. The clunkiness with things like button mashing is an annoyance, but honestly, if one always expects perfection, they will always be disappointed. Developers are not perfect. I swore off BW after ME3. I came to this at the convincing of a close friend. I am not a monthly sub, but I have the pass for 60-days. Also developers are dependent on QA to find issues before release, and having a developer background myself, they don't always find everything, because their tests can be subjective and not real-world.
  8. I've noticed that when using Blade Blitz, no target is required. I don't care much about it, but its difference with Force Leap is that you could Blitz right off of a cliff. With Force Leap, you could not; however, I still feel the effects of imposing a range on it. Just wondering what initial thoughts were. My stance is that its an *ok* skill but I'm still not going to say we're completely broken until I've had a chance to gather some endgame gear and let the 4.0 cook for a couple of months.
  9. I was a new subscriber and had no idea about the early access thing. Bummers for me - I can accept that I missed the window, but my guild is progressing without me.
  10. Yeah... I'm in a queue. I'm like 196 in the queue... I'm a new player but subscribed. If this is a sign of things to come...............
  11. Not to derail the thread from the initial topic, but does anyone know why they moved the Merciless Slash utility that reduced its CD by 3 seconds to combat? I'm finding this is more of a debilitating factor when I'm trying to figure out a new rotation. Not Leap or Melt in this instance, although the changes to Force Melt was a shocker. Is there a site that explains these changes? I'm curious what their take on this was. Maybe that will help me understand what their vision of the spec was vs. what we are doing, and help me adjust.
  12. This is an extremely valid and notable point here. It did cause problems in that fight. If it didn't kill you, you were definitely taken out of the bubble. Running back was also DPS limiting in that respect. Personally, I think we all just need a lot more time with the changes to figure out how best to proceed. I'm sure someone will shortly come up with a cookie cutter build that everyone will be on in the next month or so, and then notable folks on here (the experts) will likely have minor adjustments, making it yet again a valid and useful spec. I'm going to reserve my judgments until 1-2 months have passed. The change is not crippling, from what I can tell from parsing it looks like we can still get through a rotation fine.
  13. Ok I derped. My parse was with 1 missing accuracy enhancement. Looks like 110 accuracy is still required to maintain 0 miss. Dropping below that introduced a bunch of misses. When the newer gear is usable for me I'll mess around with that, but it looks like accuracy is still a big deal, at least for pve.
  14. Let me run through a quick parse and verify again. No I'm at 60
