  1. My raid group has been using this for a week or so, here some of our thoughts. First, we like bars; they are purdy...can we get bars? Second, special characters are not handled very well and result in an WingDing character or something. An issue that I have run into is sometimes overlays will adjust themselves in terms of size. I am noticing this most only with HPS. Like it doesn't remember from fight to fight what the magnification was set to, or just erroneously re-sizes the available frame. While I don't have a solution for dealing with bandwidth or other problems that would arise, but I miss the implementation of having full raid data within the client, i think it was swMONITOR that did it. To parrot what others have said, I'd like to be able to drill down on raid member's abilities to find out anything that's going wrong; preferably without having to upload it TorParse. I understand that passing off only the "numbers" keeps your bandwidth down and makes the updates faster -- so I don't have any suggestions towards this end. Overall, we like the ease of use and simple setup. We especially like the stability of it -- having it not crash is awesome!
  2. I am looking to rename my guild -- before spending 3k cartel coins (6k total with both sides) I want to know if a name is available or if the name I have in mind is acceptable. A previous leader said he had problems with the name when he used - (dashes) or . (dots) in between the letters.
  3. First, you have a top notch parser, easily the best solo parser available. Though I have a few suggestions for the group view. Wondering if you could make the group Analytic more useful. (IE: Damage, Heals, Threat) Analytic views for Solo log are great, but I find myself having to go into everyone's individual logs to see certain missing details. While not detail analysis for every raid member in each category is not needed, but a something more than just a graph ranking reformatting the existing information. The graphs in their current state are largely useless, imo. A Graph suggestion for the Damage would be a line graph with a different color for each member (toggles would be great!) that shows the total damage as the fight progresses -- much like in the individual log. A separate graphic for DPS with the same style would be nice too. For death/revives just put a break in their graph, having it pick back up when information flows again. This would work well for Heal and Threat too (imo). Under Damage, under by Target, what about a secondary break out of the Source to that target. Something like. % of Damage | Target | Hits | Total Damage | DPS Taken -- Player 1 | % of Damage | Hits | Total Damage | DPS -- Player 2 | % of Damage | Hits | Total Damage | DPS You already have an easy to read format in the Individual logs. Similar information for Group Damage Taken, broken out by Target and Player. Applying the same ideas through Heals and Threat, not only break the information by the Target/Healer, but again by the player. One last suggestion, On the overview page -- make the individual link pop a new tab/window, or at-least a link back to the group from the individual view.
  4. To my knowledge the only double light sabers that are bugging are the Cartel pack ones. If you like spikes and such, the Rakata Stalker Hilt looks just like cartel pack one, minus the glowing crystal. Also a fairly basic spiked hilt is acquired through your class quest. The Rakata Hilt can be crafted from an Artifice., Z-something Kai.
  5. There is only 1 unlock now. Which tier does it unlock? The 15 minute one, the 30 minute, the 60?
  6. Bunny left out my Main...Tel'aka's been retired to a GTN whore. On Anacora mostly.
  7. So I saw that F2P players will be limited on the gear that can be worn without a purchased license to wear "most purple" items. It says the same thing for the subscribers as well...verbatim. I can only assume that this is a mistake as having subscribers limited on what gear they can wear would not be good for recurring subscriptions. I don't think any subscriber will pay for a "license" to wear their purple gear that they should already have unlimited access to.
  8. BootCamp has worked since the beginning, at least on my 2 iMacs. Currently running SWTOR on 3 OSX boxes -- 2 iMac 2011's and a 2012 MacBook Pro. All of them run fine, the lower end iMac need some graphics reduced, but nothing extreme. I do wish there was a native OSX version, but I am not holding my breath. Also, VMWare and Parallels just released their new versions, haven't tested to see if they are anymore playable.
  9. So we've been really successful doing a random HM FP with 4 people in a group. Get 4 people, group, queue and profit. We've been trying to do the same thing with the SM Ops, as a means to reward our well geared people for helping our fresh 50's/alts. (Not that it's required, but it's nice to get something tangible for those Ops.) We've yet to be able to queue 8 man ops, even with BW's ideal group. (2 Tanks, 2 Healers, 4 DPS). I (group leader) queue the group after making sure everyone has the correct options set in LFG Tool (Role, SM Ops checked). Queue happens instantly -- as expected. We get the travel now option -- so far so good, I think. Once in the instance, I'm still group leader. I have the option to modify loot permissions (not supposed to happen with LFG groups) finally, no one gets Comms for the completing the instance. We have yet to put tickets in, but that would be a hassle for everyone to put the ticket in every week. We've done it once successfully, we had to kick 1 of the tanks from the group then queue and decline for every group that had another tank other than our tank. (Which is a really ****** thing to do.) What are we missing?
  10. With the changes coming because of 1.3. Will the threat meter actually show the right target? I understand it takes a few hits to register a target change from the player, but the current state is almost unusable on multiple mob encounters.
  11. On Wednesday (04/04/2012). It wasn't our first time there or anything - we are fairly aware of all the current bugs and their work arounds. This was just a new one to us and I saw no reports of it on the forums.
  12. Hopefully the other changes beyond the confirm button will fix this issue. This is a new issue that I have not seen before regarding that "fight", so I wanted to report it.
  13. Most of the bosses in all current operations will enrage or overwhelm with the Ops group with adds (Pylons) after a certain period of time has elapsed.
  14. In our past two KP runs (Hard & Norm) Bonethrasher appears to be teleporting people to him right after his knock-back, resulting in damage. Upon further examination it appears people are taking damage and effects of the swipe/knock-back even if they are on the other side of the ring and even if BT is not even facing them. Has happened to us both runs this week, it's something we can work through - puts a lot of extra strain on the healers with random people (including healers) are taking the damage and interrupting skills. Even if BT is facing away and they are not near him. This is not a behavior we were noticing last week.
  15. Last night we were doing a gearing run through Normal EV. We had ran HM the night before and didn't encounter this problem, though one of the PUGs from the group said they encountered the night before. Every time we've ran EV we'll clear the normal mobs in front of the pylons, the strong in between and finally the normals on the other pylon. Break into our groups and complete the rest of the puzzle. First time, we got to the mobs before the second pylon as soon as we killed them the puzzle started, thought someone might have accidentally clicked it; no biggie just reset and continue. Second time, as soon as we engaged - not killed - the second group the puzzle started. No one was near the terminals. We exited area again and reset the phase. We just accepted that there was a new bug, and the southern group would have to deal with an extra set of mobs at the start - no biggie. This time the puzzle started when we engaged the first group. So it progressively got worse and worse. Finally we called it a night and went to KP. Any else experience this?
  16. This has been corrected. Implants will not proc an extra on crit, they will retrain their augments like they are now.
  17. Agreed. We have south always solve first. Some will say south clicks first so they complete at just about the same time, but ultimately South solves first. Working for us as of Yesterday.
  18. Forgot Synthweaving, but otherwise cool idea.
  19. They are not indicating low pop servers. I too have a flag for a guild that was imported prior to EGA. I started playing on a different server with a different guild. I tried logging on to the imported server and accepting the invitation, then deleted the character. Flag remains. -- it's a minor annoyance for me that one day I should probably try to resolve with my effort.
  20. I run the on a MAC in boot-camp. It's a newer model and I can run it pretty everything maxed out in game and get higher than 60 FPS (I use vertical sync though as there is no reason to run > 60 frames) Getting another iMac for the wife this week for her to play on aswell. As for the Mac Pro, and of the newer models should be fine. The 13" may not play as well as the 15 or 17 as the hardware is a less "beefy". As for overheating, keep the lid open MAC laptops do vent out the bottom up out the top/back near the display hinge. EDIT: If he insists on using Fusion or Parallels he will get and under-par experience as virtual machine will not fully use all the hardware. Both virtual clients boasts DirectX10 Capabilities, but the bottom line is it still running both OS's
