  1. My medium sized guild was usually able to field 8-10 people interested in ops runs nightly, and for multiple runs. Now we're lucky if we can pull together 6 + 2 pugs, and run maybe 3 ops a week. These conquest changes are bad precisely because they discourage interest in running content. Most of my guildies are spending more time in other games now.
  2. Take every flashpoint weekly. Remove legacy restriction and make it daily repeatable. We can only complete them once/week anyways. Take every operation groupfinder. Remove legacy restriction and make it daily repeatable. Lockouts prevent us from running it more than once/week I do not understand why the devs find this so difficult to understand. We have been requesting it in every single "feedback" thread.
  3. After reading through the entirety of the 5.8, 5.8a, and 5.9 conquest feedback threads that seemed to be completely crystal clear that NOBODY likes the "Daily Repeatable - Once per day, per Legacy", I was more than a little perplexed that the devs are requesting feedback on this topic, since I felt like it was mentioned in 9/10 posts. So I thought I'd write up a little post to be extremely clear about what we don't get conquest credit for which needs to come back ASAP or suffer further player atrophy. To be clear: these should be "Repeatable - Infinitely repeatable on anyone", and should be available every week: Complete GF operation Weekly mission for 5 veteran flashpoints Weekly mission for 3 master flashpoints Weekly mission for completing 20 PvP ranked Weekly mission for completing 20 PvP unranked Weekly mission for GSF And you know what, the greatest thing about these is they require little to no extra coding, as once you complete the weekly on that character, you can't complete it again until the week is up. So you can have it as an infinite repeatable, but every single character can only complete it once. This restores popular rewards that players have been politely, and not politely, requesting for the past 2 weeks. Because they would be exactly like they were before. Rewarding and encouraging guild & group participation. If anyone has more to add to this list please do.
  4. Please, what inspired this initial change, and why is it being doubled down on despite very negative feedback in the initial impressions thread? Nobody in this entire thread has responded favorably to the confirmation that this is WAD. Ideally patch changes reflect either a response to a problem, or an additional feature. This feels like taking away something we enjoyed for no particular reason. Nobody on these forums can fathom what "problem" is being fixed. It feels like a punishment for playing our alts. Being told the situation is "monitored" is even more disheartening. If overwhelmingly negative feedback in the forums is not enough to roll back a change, can you really afford players taking the nuclear option and unsubbing to express how disappointed they are?
  5. You basically removed rewards for all repeatable content, and worse, you @#^%ed subscriber content. Running flashpoints? Completely screwed incentives to run with alts. Daily is gone. If it pops up in daily it's still uber-nerfed. Running ops? Only daily on one $#^& toon. PvP? One win a day. Stop trying to change what players do according to some dumb master plan of yours. Reward what we do already and make it better. Make repeatable content rewarding. Stop screwing with it.
  6. If the goal was to punish people playing an MMO for running group content (removing rewards for multiple operations, random flashpoints), then I suppose this patch is a resounding success.
  7. It takes some serious corporate idiocy to take IP like Star Wars and drive it into the ground to produce a crappy generic 1st person shooter.
  8. List of issues: - Grouping is totally broken. Too many issues to get into. Just try logging into Iokath and grouping up. - Group finder not working when one of the GF members is on Iokath - Can't travel to stronghold out of Iokath (must travel to fleet)
  9. Your hold on being the "Supreme Emperor"/"Benevolent Dictator" of the galaxy is tenuous at best. A return to Imp vs. Pub is not out of the question. At it's heart, you were only powerful for 2 reasons: People (Valkorian/Arcann/etc) decided you were powerful/important. You gain control of a key strategic asset (see spoilers) If the story strips you of #2, It's pretty easy to remove your god-emperor toon from power. It will never be a full return to pre-KOTFE, as your toon is now recognized across the galaxy. It does give the ability to throw in with the republic or imperials. Going cross-faction will be an issue though since you can't get to certain key planets (i.e. Dromund Kaas/Coruscant) as imp/pub toons.
  10. Devs can you please put a permanent life day vendor in the cartel bazaar? I have 500 parcels I didn't spend because I misread the end date of Life Day.
  11. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=918622 This is all you need for gearing.
  12. This is a very serious bug that impacts gameplay and people's time. It's already been responsible for op wipes in my guild since people can't see when to interrupt critical abilities. If you measure at an approximate 10 minutes a wipe for an 8 man op = 80 minutes of lost time. This isn't some silly glittery eye bug that can wait until patch 5.7. This NEEDS to be fixed in 5.6.1.
  13. You just made dailies relevant again! Yay! But here's another easy win! Uprisings - terrible rewards = no incentive to play. Make all of the bosses drop command exp packs and an item for everyone (and maybe decos?). This will increase the number of people that want to do uprisings! Take advantage of existing content! To put it in businessy terms: "It's low hanging fruit!"
  14. I really want to like playing this game again, but it's just a constant stream of unwelcome changes or poorly-thought-out content. Devs should be making changes that increase their customer base by making SM content easier, giving out more incentives to run PvE with groups, and keep HM and NiM at their current levels.
  15. SWTOR. The only thing that keeps me on this game is friends. Given the sad amount of content we've received since January 2017, my guildies are the only people who keep me on. This game is bleeding, and the team is consistently making bad decisions to push more people out. Underperforming list: Class Balance This is, frankly speaking, a massive waste of time. Mostly DPS and HPS nerfs piss people off in some Quixotic quest for "balance". Rather than develop new, interesting utilities that encourage people to try out new specs/classes/playstyles, devs have spent months fiddling with numbers, which was a problem nobody knew existed. What people were actually complaining about was unbalanced utilities and survivability, which has, for almost a year now, been untouched. The massive nerf to damage reflect kicked several HM groups out of ops, which was incredibly frustrating. If you don't understand human psychology - people are much more severely affected when you take away something they have. These choices are punishing people for participating in content. Operations 2 new ops bosses - Credit where its due: Tyth and the Sisters are fun. But it's been 2 years with only 2 operations bosses to show for it. DPS and HPS nerfs make it difficult more difficult for new learning players (which this game desperately needs) to meet heal and dps checks. PUGGING becomes more uncommon and difficult checks for SM content (Think ToS and Ravagers) make it less likely that newcomers will be welcome to a group. Make storymode easier. 236 gear has become very easy to come by with Command Crates. Keep HM and NiM where they are. Umbara Ridiculously overtuned - 248-geared toons regularly getting 1-shotted in Master Mode. Veteran mode almost unplayable without a healer, and lower level toons are just a burden in it. When you can't get a reliable group for this FP, people make the decision "you know what, I'm not going to queue because it will be a waste of time". Uprisings This is, by far, the biggest waste of opportunity I have ever seen in this game. It is clear that the devs put a lot of time, love, and effort into making these unique and fun. But the incentives are.... atrocious. If you can't clear the last boss, you get absolutely nothing. Nada, zilch, zero. People do not queue for uprisings because literally everything else at least gives you participation rewards for effort (PvP, FPs, dailies). They don't even drop decorations or cosmetic gear - only CXP for the CXP god. If you want more people to play your MMO, you have to give good incentives for participating in group content. Command XP This one is pretty contentious. A lot of people don't like the grind but legacy perks and CXP boost weeks have made it easier. The major problem for most people is that this has become a major source of gearing, but 9 times out of 10 you get useless cosmetic gear that nobody wants. Now, what if each Tier4 Crate dropped... a Grand Chance Cube? That's my list. I'm just sad because SWTOR is basically relying on people who love the Star Wars universe to maintain its player base. Devs, please stop wasting time by punishing people with number crunching and start creating incentives to play the game again.
  16. BECAUSE THERE'S A 50 TOKEN WEEKLY LIMIT. WHO THE HELL SIGNED OFF ON THIS IDIOTIC IDEA?! Is it impossible for BW to not screw up a simple "Here, have some new content"??!?!
  17. The deployment of this stronghold is a great incentive to stop caring about the launch of new content, since they're just lying about its accessibility.
  18. Please tell me that the 50 token limit is a bug and not the developers being complete jerks to people who were excited about getting a new stronghold.
  19. Is it supposed to show a download bar or something? I just get that little spinny circle but no visual confirmation of anything happening.
  20. I also noticed this bug. It's acting exactly as the OP has described.
  21. Knowledge of mechanics and roles is the most important thing in master FPs, not gear. If you force me to run faceroll veteran FPs, I'll probably kill myself.
  22. Here's my thoughts: 1. I'm super excited about the new stronghold. 2. Gear restrictions on master FPs are a great way to drive people away from playing the game. Especially people who know the FP mechanics and can do them just fine with low gear. 3. WHERE ARE THE $&$$ LIGHTNING/TK BUFFS!?!!
  23. You know the solution to this "problem" you have is to immediately run to each of the kolto stations and activate them right? Just keep doing it all fight!
