  1. Makeb, with reasons in no particular order: 1. I enjoy the horror genre but I don't think it belongs in Star Wars. This includes the Tatooine planetary arc, because while the callback to KOTOR is great, please get those zombies out of my Star Wars! Likewise, Oricon was cool but it should be another game entirely or something. 2. Preventing solo players from finishing Oricon is really irritating. No ops for me, thanks. 3. Makeb is ridiculously beautiful. I could spend days there just looking at the scenery. 4. Makeb's storyline is really fun, especially Imp side. It's one of my favorite storylines to play. 5. Makeb has gay and lesbian romances, yay!
  2. Quinn! *waves enthusiastically at fellow Quinn lovers* If she were able, my SI would have romanced Talos. Andronikos is a great guy but I don't find him especially interesting; whereas Talos is just utterly adorable. As it is, she went with Lana. Also would have romanced Xenith if possible. That would have been a really interesting story, especially with a dark side consular. But I enjoyed romancing Felix instead on my consular. A bunch of the male PC romances skeeve me out because the love interest story is "a sweet innocent-ish girl you can do horrible things to/convince her to do horrible things herself" so they always seem way too young for the PC. Nadia, Ashara, Jaesa, Mako, even Raina Temple and Vette to some degree. So I mostly avoided the male PC romances. Elara's, however, was awesome and I would love to see more like that. Romanced Doc accidentally. Never again. He, Tharan, and Corso are on my short list of people to throw out the airlock at the first opportunity. Vector is a sweet and precious darling but I just can't get past the bug thing, omg. So yeah, I ended up with a lot of solo characters...
  3. That's true, different strokes and all. I was playing a DS consular so the voice was especially confusing for me, but I guess I can see how it would be calm and serene for a LS consular. Glad you enjoyed the VA
  4. I would listen to Valkorion read the phone book. Or even Arcann. Unf. Along the same lines, Captain Yudrass on Hoth and Xalek and a couple others have that amazing reverb thing going with their deep voices that I love. Voss was pretty great for that reason. The one PC voice I don't like so far (have played most but not all of them) is the fem consular. Very monotone and flat. I just don't get the appeal?
  5. Guess I was overthinking it then, if it's the other way around. Thanks.
  6. I've finished the Warrior arc a few times and am now working my way through the Knight. Just finished Corellia. Spoilers for chapter 3 of both Warrior and Knight: But Imperial Voss (#2) comes before Imperial Corellia, after which comes Republic Corellia (#1). So either the timeline is hopelessly snarled or I am going nuts. Am I overthinking this or ???
  7. Anyone know if it's possible to get up here? It's at 619, 89 on Quesh. I tried jumping for a while but ran out of time. http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h417/semiseverus/SWTOR/Jumping/Star%20Warstrade_%20The%20Old%20Republictrade%2003_12_2016%202_22_48%20PM_zpszyu2hmqf.png
  8. Hmm, good point. You're right, I don't recall hearing any sympathy either, outside of that initial reluctance. Except for this line when they're arguing about Senya hunting Koth, but that's probably less actual empathy and more trying to get one over on Senya: Koth: How many people did Arcann slaughter while you still served him? How many? Senya: We're comparing body counts now? I'm not sure that's a game you want to play, Vortena. Completely agree. This is one of my major complaints about Koth and KoFtE. Lana made a big deal about the outlander having carbonite poisoning, and even without poisoning I think five years being frozen would take a while to recover from; the outlander would presumably be perfectly justified in telling Koth you're too sick/injured/exhausted to do anything about the reactor. But this may just be bad writing or game mechanics, as the game needs you to make a choice that will be remembered, so that Koth can react like he did in chapter XI, instead of you not actually having a choice.
  9. Same here. No pvp, ops, starfighter, or grouping, just pve and single mode flashpoints. Can't say I've played too many other MMOs but I have played a couple other BW games in the past. I feel like KoFtE is a little weaker storywise than, say, Mass Effect, but I'm still enjoying it a lot--cut scenes are half the fun for me, so I like that there's plenty of them (although the black bars of doom can DIAF). And having everything turned on its head after five years in carbonite makes for a refreshing perspective on the same characters and setting. Didn't enjoy SoR as much due to being disappointed about Revan, but it was still fun otherwise. I like plots where everybody, especially long-standing enemies, has to work together. Lots of snark and threats and getting to see characters interact that you never imagined would, like Darth Marr and Satele Shan
  10. Didn't Koth abandon ship from the Zakuul military because he wasn't okay with slaughtering non-Zakuul people though? He's definitely got a significant bias towards Zakuul, but I wouldn't say he doesn't care at all about the rest of the galaxy.
