I expect there may be a few studios out there willing to try a better SW MMO. It certainly puts pressure on EA if they want to keep the money flowing in from SWTOR.

If anything I'd love to see a Devaronian or a Utapaun.

If I may be honest, I am a casual, always have been. I play mainly for the story but ... I do feel it is too easy. Coming back for the second time a month ago after years away from the game when it was MUCH more difficult, I feel leveling has gotten way too easy. I would judge that about halfway between the way it was 8 years ago when I stopped playing regularly and the way it is now would be the sweet spot. The problem with making it a faceroll up to level 75 is that people don't learn to play their class by the time they are ready for end game content. Like everything in life, learning to play your class effectively take practice and if you can just zoom to level 75 with little to no effort, you never learn what the most effective rotations are.

I've seen EA do this before over and over. They buy a different gaming company for the IP then drop development spending to a minimum and just let things rot and make money off what's already developed. EA has a good IP with SWTOR and if they actually pumped money into it and advertised it, they could make more but the investors don't want to see money put into anything. "Oh, it's fine how it is, we're getting a return through the cartel market so that's good enough for us."

Yep. I came back a little less than a week ago and forgot how much fun this game is. It has changed a LOT though. No more hunting datacrons on every alt, no more gearing up your companion unless you want a specific look. So much fun!

I will be honest. As a player returning and relearning, after an 8 year absence, the presence of so many gold sellers, while annoying, is also comforting. It tells me the game is still very healthy because gold sellers do not waste their time on dying games.
