  1. The biggest problem I continue to see is that ranged classes have no fear of melee. They do not even need to kite, they just stand there, pop shields/defensive cd's and tank our damage while they burst us down. My main is a 50 merc with about 400 expertise. I don't kite any melee. I just stand there and go toe to toe. I do the same thing on my sorcerer. So on top of being able to go toe to toe i can also knockback, slow, stun, root, shield, sprint away, etc. depending on which of my ranged classes I'm playing. On top of all this BioWare seems to be more interested in nerfing melee classes.
  2. And ALSO isn't it odd that the one called "rapid" has a longer cast time than the one called "healing?" You'd think that someone would have swapped the name for them way back in beta...
  3. They are raising caps. Its still going to be nuts when everyone gets out of work. Plan for 1k+ server queues starting at 3pm EST. Once the kiddies get out of school and their parents get out of work the QQ will really begin.
  4. Doubt he purchased. Just preordered then cancelled. Got to play 8 days for free to test it out. Smart idea before investing.
  5. Your PC specs are not the problem. I'm playing on an old 3.0 ghz dual core wolfdale with 4 gigs of 800 mhz ram and a gtx 470. Running absolute max settings and forcing antialiasing. Even in pvp i'm steady at 60 fps at 1900x1200.
  6. I would suggest playing them to find out. No class can heal/tank/dps but most can either heal/dps or tank/dps. Sorcerer is the only healer out of the classes you have listed. The bounty hunter Mercenary can also heal/dps. The Assassin can tank and has MINOR self healing if you want to play melee. It sounds like you want to play a perfect class. From the population figures most people see that as the Sith Inquisitor. It really does feel like the most polished class especially skill tree wise and is quite fun and self-sufficient.

    World PvP

Mid 20's is a safe bet for Tatooine. There was a bit of world pvp in beta on Nar Shaddaa but I'm not sure if that has changed in the last few builds or not. -Finn
  8. Sith Sorcerer/Jedi Sage still is the most played and was during beta as well. They don't do the highest damage but they do decent damage as well as not having a punishing resource system and many useful utility abilities. They have slows, stuns, knockbacks, dots, heals, sprint and a very nice shield. It would appear that ranged have a bit of an advantage over melee in general for warzone pvp. World pvp is another issue and stealthers usually have the greatest advantage there. Not sure if any of that helps. -Finn
  9. Yes, lets nerf the least played class so EVERYONE switches to Sorcerer! What a great plan!
  10. Operative checking in. Concealment at the moment for leveling. Happy to be in the SEVERE minority. I realized early in closed beta that there was something really charming about meleeing a Jedi/Sith (huttball) to death using vibroblades.
  11. So how about some more of those "bonus waves..."
