From what I've been told, you didn't lose anything. You will receive the rewards, but they reset the achievements so if they want to remake the event in the future, they are able to.

1) I am against "make Tatooine bigger". Big planets are enough of a hassle to explore completely already. 2) I am for making pod racing, but in an unused spot of the map, not making it bigger 3) "more cooler" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ~
